This place need better management be better team better Customer Service and better sales tactics. I took my car in for a seatbelt light that came on. It was supposed to be a $250 job which after they checked it turned into a $450 job and then I mentioned a grinding sound, and my steering wheel which was supposed to be between 3 to 4000 turns out my total outdoor cost was $5900 and then I m in Florida at the time. All of this is happening and I never gave permission for them to work on my car. I told a gentleman by the name of John. Me know which one is more important to do and all I know is I get a summary the work was completed They are very disrespectful and not reasonable at all. I m getting off a plane. That I ve been charged $200 worth Of storage fees A company that supplies and fixes your car, but then charges you To hold it there until you It s ridiculous very very dissatisfied. Overdone with Tesla it If you have a Tesla, please hear my words. This is all over their system and their company sell your Tesla get rid of it. The winter happened, and none of the cars charged they didn t even reimburse people Concerning the weather attack i m done with this company

Very minimal in terms of a waiting room... There's not even a TV to watch. The coffee provided (which I guess is nice that they even give you some) doesn't exactly impress (vs an Audi dealership that has a Starbucks in it). Luckily they gave me a loaner because it would take a while so I didn't have to wait here but I guess if you brought a laptop, you could work relatively undistracted. Haha Basically it's a no-frills waiting room. The guy that assisted me was quite nice, though, so that was good. Also, quite annoying that I had to drive 2 hours for service since there's no Tesla service center in my area.

Worst experience ever. Will not be going back or buying another Tesla. Sat in the waiting area for 2 hours while I was told the tires were being changed. Nothing was ever done. Drove all the way from Michigan. 100k dollar car and the geniuses at the service center can t even give you an accurate time estimate. Literally sat there for 2 hours and nothing got done. I had to leave.

I m so impress with this Tesla service center.My first time to had service recall upgraded emmc and checked tires condition on my Tesla model S. I got this loaner Tesla model S, it s very clean in white color. They re very friendly, good service, very fast and resolved all problems FOR FREE with Tesla warranty (finish within only 1 day waiting). I just want to leave my review and say thank you:)

Tesla is so tech savvy lol. Followed the instructions on the app- dropped off my car. In passing a rep said hello Rebecca lol how cute. Left the car overnight due to traffic issues. My appointment was in the middle of my work shift. I didn't want any problems. We communicated through the app, services were covered and pickup was painless. Never seen a face throughout the entire process and the job was done completely. Car was charged! I was grateful because I live over an hr away. Very considerate considering the amount of business they get daily.

One of the worst experiences I ve ever had. Brought my car in to get 2 new tires (replaced). Moses the service advisor said no problem it will be 2 hours. After one hour he came out to inform me that they did not have matching tires in stock. But they could replace them with two different brand tires. Not ideal because but since I ve already waited an hour, fine. Another two hours pass. I ask what s up and he says nothing has been done. I have to wait. Then I ask for my car back and he won t take it out of service mode. Had to go back 3 times before he actually took it out of service mode. Absolutely horrible experience. Can t wait to get rid of this Tesla.

I've been here a few times now and they are always informative, helpful, and super friendly people. It's nothing like your typical scammy car dealership experience.They only recommend what's needed and give you good truthful info. The staff are A+

2018 with front brakes squeaking because theyre defective at 25k miles. I dont know hows that called wear and tear why do i have to pay to replace my brakes if they have 90%life but still squeak everyday... $1300 for replacement.Never had a loaner car for me!No mangers to talk to "theyre in a meeting" every time.Techs need better training ive been here 5 times in 4 months for the same issues and all i get is "we couldnt duplicate the issue" or "within specs"High voltage battery died at 25k milesInterior noises makes me feel like im sitting in a 1995 honda mini vanUpdate:Got a windshield replacement done today and the tech called ne saying sorry we damaged the front grill on the dash and we will get you a new one in 3 weeks, also the steering wheel had large sharp scuffs i can feel them every time i turn (look at pictures) besides the glue they left on the body of the car all around the windshield!!While i was there 2 other customers were upset because they didnt fix their cars on time. Just a horrible place in general."Mangers in meeting" yet you hear the lady managers in there laughing their as* off cracking jokes so loud.And again they couldnt fix the "trunk is open" message and "window is open" message and you guessed it "within spec"!!!They fix something and they cause 3 other mistakes.Flea market techs.Bunch of amateurs honestly.George is the only honest and helpful person here.

Came in for a second windshield replacement after I had the first one replaced at this same shop. To me it clearly looks like the new crack originated from the interior, but their expert said otherwise. Okay, your word against mine, I guess.They also nicked the side of the center screen while replacing the original windshield. Apparently nothing can be done about that, either.My problem isn t with the result. I get that anyone can claim something and then try to scam for a freebie. The problem is that was the assumption from the get-go from the Tesla team. There was no effort to understand my situation, nor try to definitively prove that it was a rock chip and not a faulty initial replacement. For what it s worth, the chip is very near the windshield wipers and it would be difficult for a rock to get there .This one star serves as a review for the initial replacement itself. They nicked my center screen (not bad enough that I would want to suffer through the process of a screen replacement) and got my headliner dirty.

The entrance for service is in the back of the building. Follow the signs. I had some small cosmetic issues that needed to be fixed after delivery. Nice service team willing to help and justify the issues. The waiting room is plenty big with a bathroom. After the service was done, the technician informed me about the update and how to program the new upgrade.Overall good experience.

Extremely hospitable and fast. I needed to have some fit and finish issues addressed. The service writer was super polite and to the point. I was worried about some pushback on some things, but they were extremely understanding and transparent. Service was completed within a couple hours when I've experienced days of wait for less complex service. I'm glad this service center is around for Tesla with such a good team.

Dennis and Javier are awesome! I had a tricky problem with my model 3 but they were able to figure it out. Meanwhile, they hooked me up with Uber rides and a loaner as needed while keeping me informed of the issues they were working through. To top it all off, the repair price was EXTREMELY reasonable for the amount of time they spent on it and the component they replaced for me. Thank you Tesla Chicago!

Small fixes seem to be the specialty of this location. Seemlessly took care of random click and crack sounds. But they left my steering wheel misaligned which was never fixed AND they wanted to charge me for realignment. Mentioned a rubbing sound coming from the wheels and for some reason only one Tesla Technician could hear it from the whole crew. They told me rotors and brakes is the problem so I approved the invoice. Yet when I got the car back the same rubbing sound persisted. Then they figured out it was ACTUALLY the tires that was making the noise.I paid $1.4K for brakes and rotors I never needed replaced. Asked for a refund and old parts back and they said "no". Then they wanted another $1.7K for new tires with installment. The people at We Wash III over on Halsted and Hubbard gave me the same tires with installment for $1K and a free car wash.Don't get played. Maybe try a different service center cause they will try to throw overpriced services at this location. I was back and forth for a whole month, 5 times, just for the Technicians to fix one problem but ultimately went to car wash facility ONCE where it was fixed overnight.

The service folks at Elston Ave nee Grand Ave service center are the best. They've been taking care of me for over 7 years now. I appreciate all their work especially when they found a young opossum hiding out under my frunk when they went to check my A/C.

Dennis was very professional and friendly. Amazing in and out service (under 30 mins total for drop off and pick up) and made sure that I was set up for the day when I had to leave my car over night. First time experience here, made an appointment weeks in advance for my Model S. Arrived 1 hour early. After they opened the garage door to let me in, nobody acknowledged or offered any assistance. I stood there while 2 associates just looked at their computer screens.Finally, a lady asked from across the desk about the issue with the car. I explained the battery and tire pressure monitor issue. She referred me to the tired and defeated looking guy next to her. He immediately said this will take a while to fix, they have no loaner vehicle and that I should reschedule.I can understand the busy time of the year and lack of loaner vehicle but other service centers usually call 1-2 days in advance and often ask at the time of booking if you need a loaner. I needed the car to drive for my hospital job. I was rescheduled several weeks later and I will post an update. The disappointing part was the lack of customer service and poor communication skills. It was also a waste of time as I had taken time off from my clinic to be there.Here s another frustrating part: you cannot call Tesla service center for any heads up or questions. You are given an automated line and the robot jumps from one automation to another without a real person option at any point.Tesla, in my opinion, has gone to the very bottom when it comes to customer support. This was not like this in the beginning. I m curious to know others experience.UPDATE***I was finally able to get my model S services over the weekend. I dropped it off Thursday morning and got it back Monday morning. Loaner vehicle was given and I received text updates. The lady at front desk was pleasant and nice throughout. My battery concerns were not addressed except they said the log activity did not show any issues. The car range has dropped from 208 to 170 miles on a full charge. In cold temperature, I m lucky if I get 100-110 miles. But they believe this is expected. To me, that s brushing off a genuine concern.The car was returned to me exactly as shown in the pictures. Perhaps they can learn from other service centers that a basic car wash is pretty standard after you charge a customer hundreds in service fee.

The team at the service center did an excellent job in servicing my vehicle with a 24-hour turnaround. They were very communicative over text and even put on new license plates for our car, free of charge. This will be our go-to place in the future if we need any servicing on our Tesla.

I have been without my car for over eight months now. It is currently sitting at this location collecting dust while the shop twiddles their fingers trying to figure out the electrical issues and take of the lug nuts. They of course lost the keys to the lug nuts and haven't been able to complete the repairs because of this. The car has been back and forth between this location and Richards body shop. Since it has been in the shop, I have made over 16K in lease payments for this car that I haven't even seen since May. I guess its a good deal for Tesla. Delay the repair on a car, collect money, sell a low mileage car after the lease is up.Update - Just made my 10th lease payment since my car has been at the shop. No word yet on completion date and last I heard. The body shop attempted to pick the car up from this location to finish the car but Tesla failed to have it ready for them. That was 4 days after Tesla told me that the car was ready for pick up by the body shop. I am forced to give the location 1 star even though I don't feel any are warranted.Service: Electrical

Perfect after service. I compared Mercedes Audi BMW and Lexus. My model Y bumper was scratches need to replace. Swap new bumper is about three hours, but it's not the point. The moment I am driving in, I see smiles and a super friendly greeting. I have never seen this kind of service before. After that, everything was so simple, no nonsense or pointless steps. $100 one day Uber or loaner car if more than one day. Inside this facility is super clean no smells no lound noise no attitude only new generation technicians.Entrance on the back and kind of narrow to drive in.

Have needed to use the service center a few times since getting my Tesla several years ago, and it's always been a pleasant experience. A couple times they've come out to fix the issue, and a couple times I've had to go in. They've always had a loaner vehicle to offer me, even if the repair is only estimated to take an hour. Repairs have always been completed well within the estimated time, and everyone has been great at answering any questions I've had.Services: Electrical, Battery

Service center needs better management and training. Went there for routine brake maintenance and wheel alignment.Day 1 - Dropped off car in the morning, was told to come back by 6pm and car would be ready. Came back, car was not ready and was not told. Waste of my time.Day 2 - was told car was completed, came to service center and asked if car was test driven to ensure it was in proper alignment, response was it should have been . Picked up the car and immediately noticed it was not in alignment. Retuned car, and was asked to return the next day. Waste of time again.Day 3: Came back and finally picked up car, was fixed and was told that the technician forgot to adjust the steering wheel as well as take it on a test drive.I have had similar issues in the past where they forgot to do basic requirements of service and at times completely forgot to do fixes I needed done. This location sorely needs better management and training of its staff. If you are bringing your car here, be extra diligent with everything you are asking them to do.7/30/22 Update: Had a mobile appointment to replace a malfunctioning headlight, which should have been a simple swap. Technician made the swap and ran to another appointment. I double checked their work and they replaced my old headlight with one that had a major scratch on it. Another example of them not doing a simple check of their work. Now I have to wait 3 weeks for them to come back and fix it.8/11/22 Update: Mobile service comes back again to replace the headlight they previously installed that was scratched. They get here and start installing it, then realize the new headlight is scratched too. Now I have to reschedule again.....this is laughable at this point.8/18/22 Update: Mobile service comes back again for the 3rd time to replace the headlight. Based on the past two times, I messaged them to make sure they order a few of them and make sure the headlight replacement wasn't scratched prior to coming to do the service. They arrive to make the swap, and good news it wasn't scratched! Bad news it was the wrong side headlight!!! Really???

I cannot RAVE MORE about my overall Tesla experience. Every shop & dealership is AMAZING! I worked with James in regards to a repair I needed. He is kind, courteous, and beyond helpful. Thank you to Lukasz and the team for getting my maintenance work done more than an hour ahead of schedule. He thoroughly explained the invoice and answered my questions. Although I wish had been informed about the Model 3 maintenance requirements in 2018 when I bought the car, I'm now better informed going forward to keep my tires in good condition.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Brakes

I brought my 2021 Tesla Model 3 to this location on April 21, 2022 because my car shakes when I driven on the expressway. The representative informed me that they had no loaner cars, so I rescheduled for June 8, 2022. Today the same representative told me that they could not service my car, because the technicians can not drive above 55 miles an hour. Then he attempted to convince me that he informed me of this the last time I was there. I proceeded to correct him in a very direct manner and asked him, has anyone brought a car in with this issue before. He attempted to talk around the question. I asked him again, has any brought a car in with this issue before, or am I the first one. Again, he tried to deflect. At that point, I could no longer talk to him and asked to speak with a manager. The "manager" was of absolutely no help. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. My car has been into the shop 6-8 times in less than 5 months. The service advisors are inept and the focus there seems to be on getting cars in and out as fast as possible with little regard to whether or not they actually fix the problem(s). On more than 3 occasions, I've picked up the car after it being "fixed" only to literally drive it out of the shop and the problem still exist. When driving it immediately back into the shop to show them, they say they cant take it back and I need to schedule another appointment (weeks later).This is only the beginning here. Unfortunately if you've bought a Tesla, your service options are limited to say the least. As a result, this will be my last Tesla.
