I found Arturo by doing just a quick google search. He is right down the street from me, gave him a call and he helped me with my gas line, it was leaking. Then I came back another time and he fixed my struts. He is convenient!

Such great and timely service! I went to another auto shop and they misdiagnosed my issue and these guys found the problem and fixed it once they ordered the parts!

We brought our Mercedes truck in for a potential tire leak. The owner Jose was so kind and helpful. He took his time to make sure everything was working appropriately as we travel with three little ones. Arturo is great! My husband has been going to him for a few years now, and I just brought my car to him for the first time. My husband has always had good experiences, and I did as well. Arturo is honest and good at what he does.My car was making a rattling noise, and Arturo quickly figured out that it was just a loose heat shield. He had it ready the next day, and only charged us $30.When I went to the Toyota dealership for an oil change a couple years ago, they gave me a laundry list of "repairs" that my fully functioning car apparently needed. The total would have been over $2,000! Since my car was having NO issues, I decided not to do any of the work, and it's been fine ever since. Many people I've talked to have shared similar stories about various dealerships or mechanics.We're happy to have found a mechanic like Arturo, and will definitely keep coming back!Service: General repairs & maintenance

The service at this place is a cut above. Put simply, I was 'wowed.' On a Friday night I noticed a portion of the under carriage of my car was dragging loudly on the ground, so I needed a fix and fast. I found Tello on Saturday morning, and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Everyone there is extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. They made my car a priority, and they didn't even charge me! I will definitely be back to give Arturo and his crew business, and hope you give them a try as well.Service: Body & Trim

Went to this shop to get a catalytic converter cage installed. Mine was stolen and even though I put an aftermarket one on mine I explained that cars/trucks were still trying to steal my converter. The mechanic was swamped with work but took his time to install it, the price was reasonable and he showed me the work once he was done. I recommend this shop. They are fast, friendly and very professional. I drove from the Southside of Chicago and it was worth it.

Gil was honest, friendly, and fixed all the issues with my car very quickly. (faulty exhaust gasket, heat shield rattling, and oil change). I took the car in Friday right before closing. It was ready the next morning. Pricing was very reasonable and clearly explained. the Car sounds and runs like it did when I first got it . This was by far the best mechanic experience I've had.

Great experience! My axle broke on a Saturday morning and they were able to order the part and fix it within the same day. They discussed the repair and showed me the broken/replaced part. Their tow truck guy was awesome and actually diagnosed my car on the spot. Super nice guys, reasonable pricing on the repair and great work. I actually went back to have the other one replaced as a preventative measure. Highly recommend Tello Auto repair!

Arturo is the man! I used to bring my car to him when he was in Andersonville and am so glad to have found him at his new location. If you are looking for an HONEST, timely and no bs mechanic - look no further. Arturo and his team are very friendly and do excellent, honest work. He has no problem showing me the exact issue with my car and what needs to be replaced. Did I mention he's honest? I'm very curious and tend to ask him a lot of questions and he has never seemed irritated to answer any of them which makes the whole experience very transparent. I've come to him after a different place told me one thing needed to be replaced (which would've let to more work being done) and he was able to find the actual issue right away and prove the other opinion wrong. He ordered the part that day and was done the next morning.A trusty reliable mechanic is something most people will never find and I feel so lucky to have found this place. Thank you for what you do!

They are great!!I am a single woman/mom who has always been ripped off in the past by mechanics. For some reason most mechanics think that because you are a woman it is ok to over charge us and charge us for things we don't need or things they didn't even do.These people have been VERY honest and have VERY fair prices and DON'T charge you for work you don't need or for work they don't even do. It is nice to finally have a mechanic I can trust!!I have recommended them to several people and they too are very happy with them!

I've been a loyal customer of Arturo for the last 10 years, bringing in a wide range of vehicles with a wide range of issues that he and his crew have been able to fix. Simply the best shop in Chicago. Worth the trip from any part of the city.

We had a misunderstanding at first but once the owner got there and confirmed I'd talked to him, things were great! They are very nice and honest. I very much appreciate them and they did very good work. I will definitely be back and will refer my friends.

As a first time customer their I will say Arturo did a great job answering my questions and telling me what was the issue, He did a great job on our vehicle and quick too and prices are reasonable. Explained to me what was the issue and also showed me the parts that he replaced, thank you so much and thanks to Pedro for recommending this auto mechanic to me. God bless

I got my clutch done back in December for a great price and came back for brakes. Honest and fair mechanic, with a small shop. He takes all major cards and was able to get me in quickly. 5/5

This place is amazing! My car wouldn't start, turns out it needed a new battery. They didn't have one in stock so they went and picked it up and got my car fixed within 2 hours! They even gave me a ride home while they were fixing my car. So kind, and very reasonably priced!

Honest mechanic sometimes takes customers right back into the garage to talk about an issue. No expectation that the customer will understand but neither is he patronizing. Straightforward discussion about what's going on means for a more confident experience in a time and place we'd usually rather not be.

My catalytic converter was stolen last week, creating 3 grand worth of damage. Heard that AtoZ was able to install an anti theft device, the Cat Clamp. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get to the shop til 130pm today, usually much too late to begin a repair job. Gil got on the phone and called in some help to insure that I'd get taken care of! I am sleeping tonight instead of standing watch! Best mechanic experience I've had since forever. I'll be a regular from here on out!

Artruo is the owner, and operated, and highly trained certified mechanic! I travel from the N.W side just for his services. He is a very, rare find these day's who will take the time to get the job !!,and will explain, and show if u want what's the prob. At a very fair price. hidden gem of Chicago. Thx! Jim Clark

I Will never recommend this place to know one Give them 0 stares.For the bad experience that I went through with them.I gave them my car hoping they will fix it. Don t care how much as long they leave it good and running give them week,Told me he couldn t fix my car cuz he had no time because he was busy with other cars and also all the time I was callIng the guy was never there and he never call me back. The guys name is arturo one of my Friend recommended hoping he could fix my car.

Took a nagging clunk in my steering column here and was impressed with the work. Excellent troubleshooting of the problem and very fair prices. Don't hesitate to use this shop - great communication and I will use again.

I give them a functional car, and a month and 300 dollars later, it's a little more functional, but my hood is dented, and my muffler broken.I definitely won't be coming back.
