Jose went above and beyond for me. Very professional. Didn t try to cheat me out of money, he actually advised me that the issue what I thought was originally wrong with my car was not the issue at all and saved myself $700!! I would recommend him to anyone here in Chicago!! He comes to you which makes it convenient. I contacted him and he was at my location within an hour. He is very detailed and breaks everything down for you to understand.

I was very pleased with his overall service. He explained to me what the issue my car was having with in a clear and simple way which is easy for me to understand. I understand that Jose is a very busy man. That is why I appreciate his effort to stop by my place to check on my car a few days after the repair. He deserves a 5-star rating.

I have already used Stop N' Go Auto Services twice in less than a week and super happy with the service and price. Jose is responsive and shows up to your appointment time promptly. He has many years of experience being a mechanic and shares his knowledge as he works. Super easy to talk to and will be my mechanic moving forward!

I love this guy. I highly recommend driving to him if you have any issues. I was in a hurry and had to drive back home to Nebraska. But my car broke down and overheated. I called him and he was able to get the special part and fixed this big issue within 15hours.I really appreciate him and highly recommended him!!Service: Electrical

Jose is an excellent mechanic!!! This is my 2nd time using his services, and both times he has done great job! He changed my brakes and rotors, and the battery on my husband's car, which was an unexpected repair. He took time out of his busy schedule to fit us both in, and went above and beyond to provide us great service. He is very knowledgeable, honest, and professional. I highly recommend Jose for all your mechanical needs. Thank you Jose!!!

This is an excellent and honest service. I often feel taken advantage of with auto repairs, but not here. Jose diagnosed the problem, provided a quote, and explained everything in simple terms. As someone who doesn t know much about cars, I was comfortable asking questions. I will use this service again and recommend it.

Jose came to my location on a holiday to perform a multipoint inspection, and arrived earlier than expected (which I asked for, if his other appointments ended early).He was incredibly professional and explained every inspection he was doing in detail, and had no problem answering my many questions.It can be difficult to trust mechanics and others when you can't evaluate things for yourself. With Jose, I have no doubt that he is trustworthy. I left with confidence that I had received quality service, and a far better understanding of my vehicle thanks to his willingness to share his knowledge.I wont need ever need another mechanic, and will without a doubt be recommending Jose to everyone I know.

Jose is super professional and reliable. I called about shaky steering and I was worried about suspension. He answers really quickly and is very thorough in his explanation of what he is doing. Turns out my suspension was good and no worries there. He recommended I rotate my tires bc my front tires were bubbly and were the reason for my shaky wheel. Any other place would have sold me suspension parts in a heart beat to make an extra profit. Goes to show that Jose is an honest guy! I am new to a mobile mechanic service but he is really great! Above and beyond of what I expected! Jose is honest and beats any mechanic's labor rates. Do not hesitate to reach out to Jose, you wont regret it. Great experience from start to finish. I'm from out of town and needed some diagnosis of a weird loud noise that started after I drove 8 hours here. Jose was prompt, professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and tried several things to get to the bottom of the issue. Turns out I was driving on no oil! He got that taken cared of right away and even went out of his way to continue to give advice on vehicle maintenance and understanding the other noises coming from the car (it's a pretty old car). Our car broke down last Thursday evening when we were on our way to Chicago. Jose was very prompt and professional. He explained the problem with the car very clearly and was very reasonable with the price. We had to stay the night in Chicago because he couldn't get the part till the next day. But knowing that we were from out of town, he tried to help us as soon as he could and we were on our way home before noon the next day. Extremely grateful for his help in what was a very stressful situation.

My 86k auto would not start the day after a new battery was put in. The alternator died. I notified Jose, who was the only service to answer a phone on late Sunday afternoon. After the quick response and projected invoice, Jose had a new alternator within an hour, and then fixed my car on site in less than hour, for the agreed price. He s a no nonsense professional. I am grateful for his service, because I did not have to my car towed, and stored overnight at a garage then to be looked at sometime Monday.5 days later, my car is running well. 5 stars!

Jose was very friendly and knew exactly what needed to be fixed. He was able to fix my car within a few hours, and kept me updated every step of the way. As someone who was visiting Chicago, I was worried about how to get my car fixed, but Jose came recommended and I am so happy we chose to go with him! I would highly recommend him for any car issues that you may have!

This was probably the best service I could have asked for. I was stuck at home with a dead car and two kids. I got Jose s number from a family member and gave him a call in desperation. To my surprise he was at my house within 25 min and literally fixed the problem that night! Very professional and super affordable. He knows what he s doing and is an honest businessman. I m so glad I ve found my forever mechanic! If anyone needs a reliable well trained mechanic that will come to them and not rip them off, then look no further. Jose and Stop N Go are the best!!!!

Jose was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He took his time explaining everything and fixed the problem within a few hours. He went above and beyond and inspected my vehicle to make sure the tires, brakes, filters, windshield wipers, and fluids were ok. The price was also very resonable. Jose is highly recommend.

Jose is awesome I will recommend him to anyone! He is such an honest good guy. He fixed my headlight (it's a little tricky on my specific car) in a jiffy! My brother in law saw his work on my Honda Civic and he was really impressed. Dont hesitate to work with him!

A great technician who s work is phenomenal! Very knowledgeable and has given me information on what my car needs for repairs. Very professional at what he does and customer service is off the charts! I ve already had my car serviced twice and it s 100 times better than it was before! I m going to continue to have Stop N Go service my car for every car repair that I need. Mr.Mendoza is truly great at what he does and I m so thankful to have found a very trustworthy honest great technician.

So I found myself in a pretty bad spot and on top of it all the air suspension on my 04 Lincoln Town Car went out and I was out of a car. I found Jose while looking for services near me. He was the first company I found and after speaking to him I knew that he was the one to do the repair on my vehicle. I could literally feel his honesty and sincerity when we spoke. Jose sent my quote and all correspondence via email and text and couldn't possibly be more professional, courteous and fair. He texted me 30 minutes before his arrival just as he said he would and arrived exactly at the time he said he would. He got right to work and somehow converted my air suspension to standard shocks and springs in just over an hour. I can't say enough good about him but he helped a single father of 3 just trying to make it more than he knows. It's good to know that he's out there. I will be working with him for quite some time to come.

Jose is a wonderful honest man, with good values , he came and Diagnose my car problem and did try and over charge me. He even gave me tips on how too maintain my vehicle, I'm already making another appointment with him, He just got a customer for life.

Jose is such a blessing! I was leaving O Hare from a vacation and my bmw x3 had a powertrain failure, engine overheating, and would not accelerate. I am not from Illinois (I live 2.5 hours north in WI), so I was stranded. It was a Sunday, therefore no one was open..except for Stop N Go Auto Services. Jose is without a doubt one of the most honest men I have ever met. Not only did he move around his already booked schedule to accommodate me, he walked me through everything he was doing and was EXTREMLY reasonable and knowledgeable. He was able to assess and fix what was going on (it is hard to find someone who will work on BMW and get parts to fix it). Even despite the urgency of my request, he charged way less than any mechanic I have ever gone to. You can tell he enjoys helping others and doing what he loves! I am happy to say that I made it home safely.Being a young female, with a broken car in an unfamiliar place, Jose felt like someone I could trust immediately. If I lived local, he would be my go-to mechanic. I cannot say enough good things about Jose and his work. Thank you again, Jose!

I was in need of someone to look at my car and came across a suggestion to call Jose Mendoza, so I did. Being a mother of 3 and married to someone with a crazy work schedule, I couldn't believe the availability of someone that comes to you and access your car needs. Jose Mendoza replied to my request right away. Updated me throughout the day and assessed what my car needed promptly. He gave me a very fare, detailed quote and worked on my car.Unfortunately due to other car problems he had to rescue me a few other times.Jose' is responsive,trustworthy,honest and reliable I highly recommend him!

Unexpectedly, my car stopped working on a Sunday night a few miles from home. Called Jose, explained the situation and he was able to make it over to us in about 20 mins from his location. He ran tests on the car on arrival, was able to get a report to us on the system issues and we were back on the road within an hour. He followed up with us later that evening to make sure we made it home okay, sent an email follow up with the report and his recommendations. I cannot thank him enough for getting us out of a pinch so late on a Sunday night and home safely. Highly recommend contacting him.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I was in need of a mobile mechanic to install an alternator and belt I purchased but didn't have the tools to do it myself. After receiving a quote from Jose which I found to be very reasonable, he was able to drive out to meet me in East Chicago, IN and only charged me a small additional fee because of the distance. It was refreshing to find an honest mechanic for a change, one who is knowledgeable, professional and hard working. He quickly replaced the alternator and informed me my belt didn't need to be replaced. Thanks Jose for a job well done!!!

We were travelling from Rosemont and stopped on mid road due to excessive heating and smoke. No service centre was ready to help and Jose was the only one came forward with short notice. He saved our day! We were in quite a pickle. Had our car breakdown while we were in Chicago for a day. I called Jos� and explained our situation, and he did exactly what he said he would: he took care of us. He got our part and met us to work on our car. We would have been stranded another day without this guy!As a woman, I always look for upfront and honesty when speaking with mechanics, a lot of folks think you don t know and try to charge extra and get you to do unnecessary fixes. This guy is the best. He was kind, honest and upfront from the point I called to the end of service! If I lived in the area, he d be my new mechanic based off this experience. Highly recommend him!
