Great service. I had a rubbing noise coming from the steering of my Ford Escape 2014. They diagnosed and did a rack and pinion reassembly in 2 days.Also they worked with my third party warranty (Compass Protection Plan) that no one in the Chicago land areas was willing to work with.If you re in the neighborhood and need your car fixed, I d highly recommend them.

Came in an hour before close on a rainy Friday night after my battery died. Worker was super helpful and provided me a portable jumper to bring the car over to get the car battery tested. He was super patient and even provided advice on my battery rather than just immediately trying to sell me a new one. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone with car troubles for their incredible care and customer service!

Get your car repaired here! I cannot thank SSS Auto Repair enough for their outstanding service and kindness.Today, I was panicking when my car was unable to start. No one was able to determine why and some people even recommended to have my vehicle towed to a mechanic. I called SSS Auto Repair and the team took the time to patiently walk through what could be happening over the phone. Other people were convinced it was a larger and more expensive issue, but SSS Auto was able to provide clear and helpful reasoning that the problem may not be as it seemed.It turned out to be a simple battery problem. Thanks to SSS Auto, I was able to jump my car, get to their shop, receive last minute assistance from their team and be back on the road within the hour. The team did everything quickly and in the most inexpensive way possible. They were able even able to repair my battery rather than selling me a new one!If I could give this place 6 stars, I would.Thank you SSS Auto! I was stranded in my bmw 535i in the middle of Chicago with nowhere to go. They hooked me up with towing and got me in same day. The guys have great personalities and are true professionals. I was able to make it to my destination on time. I highly recommend, excellent work!

This place is the best. They've helped me out in a pinch a few times, and it's always been a great experience. Kenny is friendly and willing to do whatever he can to help. Prices are reasonable, and they usually get my car in and out pretty fast!

Great traditional and modern food selection. Long-time favorite destination in Greek Town. Efficient and courteous service with experienced wait staff. Free valet parking is a great perk

Very friendly people, can ask them anything including about preventive measures when something goes wrong or if it's going be an expensive fix. Fast turnaround too because if I have to bring it in the morning I'll have it after work

I was recommended to go to Kenny at SSS autorepairs in Lincoln Park and I had a very great experience. I do not really have any experience with mechanic work and thus always am worried that auto shops will dishonestly quote me. I felt that Kenny was very trustworthy and he walked me through every step of the way in a personable way. My car stopped shifting gears and I was stuck in a parking garage, I was 2 blocks away and one of the mechanics came over and helped me get my car to the shop. I've had such a great experience at SSS Auto that I felt it was only right to write a review. Everyone at SSS Auto has been incredibly friendly and helpful when fixing up my 2013 Kia Optima. It's been great working with them, I've felt clear and concise communication throughout the engagement and have continued to go back to SSS Auto whenever I've had a problem.If you do have a problem with your car, I'd highly recommend checking this place out.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

I could not recommend Kenny more! His team did a beautiful job repairing my passenger door that had been scratched/ started to rust from the snow. He washed the interior and exterior of my car and it looks brand new. Great service!Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

I would highly recommend coming here! I got a very bad scratch and dent on my car, which is also a unique color, and they had it fully repaired and looking good as new on under a week, despite the fact that it was across two different panels. Anthony was very helpful and responsive, and they worked really well with my insurance company to get all of the logistics figured out. Hoping to avoid future scratches but if they happen again I will definitely be coming back.

Had an excellent experience with SSS Auto. I m new to Chicago, so I didn t have a mechanic. My car s transmission was acting up and check engine light came on. Our first experience with SSS occurred a few weeks ago. We got in the car to head out of town and discovered we had a flat tire. Kenny and his team had the problem identified and taken care of within an hour.I brought our car back today for a routine oil change and to replace a headlight. Kenny called with a couple other things that need attention with our car. He was up front about everything, and even helped me come up with a plan to prioritize which issues need to be addressed first and how to come at it from the most budget-friendly approach.We are thankful for Kenny and the team at SSS and will continue to return for all our auto needs!Services: Tires, Oil change

Let me begin by saying I never write reviews, but feel compelled to share my experience as a warning to others. I drove my 2001 Ford Explorer in to get the battery changed. I bought the battery and was going to do it myself, but I didn't have the proper tools to get the old battery out. I droped the car off with Anthony who was working and said come back in 2 hours. When I get back it turns out my car doesn't start. And has "thousands of dollars worth of repairs" before it can start. I ask how can this be since I drove it into you shop two hours ago. He shrugs his shoulders and asks me what do I want to do. Long story short I scrapped my car for $300. Don't go here. Go anywhere else.

Terrific experience! Having only serviced my car at the dealership, I was hesitant to go elsewhere. BUT, when my car wouldn't start (just heard click) and I needed help right away, the dealership wasn't there for me! They didn't even call me back until after the car was already up and running - fixed by SSS Auto Repair!Owner, Anthony, was extremely helpful! He even gave me self help guidance (I called 3 times before I even went to them) over the telephone when I had never been there before. He was able to get me in right away and was so accommodating. His staff was professional. It was an around great experience...who ever thought one would say that about auto repair?!

I went to SSS Auto on a referral from a colleague, I m so glad I did! The work that was costing thousands of $ at the Honda dealership, cost me less than half here. Its a mom/pop shop that does great work, like knowing the person working on my car! I have already recommended him to my friends! Use him for any auto work you need, you will not be disappointed.

I'd highly recommend this place. Great service, reasonably priced, and very easy to work with. I wasn't able to stick around when they were doing the diagnostic and repair work on my car and the owner literally bought me an Uber so I could head back to my place to work until they were finished. Best shop in the area hands down. I've had many bad experiences at other places when it comes to fixing my 10 year old Jeep.This time I had a check engine light, the code was saying catalytic converter malfunction. On a Jeep Wrangler replacing the cats with parts and service would come out to be over $1,200. Anthony acknowledged this, and found a cheaper fix, knowing the converter shouldn't be going out this early in the Jeep's life. He replaced the oxygen sensors and extended their bases to prevent the issue from happening again. He detailed the price of every part and labor on the phone before doing the work. He was polite and friendly, talking to me like a normal human being and not an annoying customer. 5 stars for this excellent service, SSS has a customer for life.

I took my car to get fixed twice for same issue and it never got fixed.My car had been cutting off sporadically while driving. I took it in to get the issue fixed. The total cost was 671.90. The car seemed fine, however it cut off again two days later during rush traffic. Needless to say I was upset and called them to come get it and fix it. I was told they couldn't find anything wrong with it and I drove away. A few days later....... It cut off again in the suburbs. It was a weekend and late in the evening. The car was stalled in a paid parking spot. So instead of either paying to have it towed or waiting for the auto shop, I decided to have it scrapped.I called in and explained the situation and let them know I had to scrap it. I asked for some sort of refund on labor, even if it was only a couple hundred dollars. I had video and photo evidence.The response was the car is gone so we can't help.A word of advice to would be customers. Stay away. Especially if you have an older car. This place is a money pit and a huge time drag, not to mention poor customer service. You'll probably end up regretting it and end up with a much lighter wallet.

I came home from vacation this past Monday and was devastated to find that after returning from a relaxing vacation my car would not start.I called Anthony at SSS Auto Repair and told him the symptoms in which I thought that the problem was the starter. He had a towing company come pick up my car and told me it would be a few hours. Before he began working on it he gave me a quote for what the starter and labor would be with the towing charge included.Few hours later I received a call from Anthony that it was not the starter but that I needed a new battery. He replaced the battery and told me that it reduced the price significantly and it was ready for me to pick up.I was very grateful for his honesty. I've watched specials that show how auto repair shops can really rip people off; especially my demographic of being a young female, who in all honesty, I don't know a thing about cars so he easily could have gotten away with it.This is a great mechanic shop in Lakeview; conveniently a 10 minute walk down the street from me. I will continue to go to SSS Auto Repair for any needs in the future.

Took my car in with a flat tire, and really needed it repaired asap. After calling a ton of auto shops who said they couldn't get it fixed quicker than the end of the week, I called SSS Auto and they literally got it in and repaired within a few hours. Price was super fair as well. So happy!

I took my truck for a serpentine belt they were extremely professional told me how long and how much right over the phone! Very good customer service and explained everything well I will be coming back to this shop!

My daughter brought her vehicle in for brakes. His price for brakes and rotors and front and back was $1200. I try to negotiate a price he said no. Told him I ll find somebody else to do the repairs. When my daughter went to Pick up her car the next day he charge her $125 For looking at the car. I was expecting something but not $125. Told him he was ripping us off with the price of the brake jobs and then you start swearing at me.

GREAT auto repair center - trustworthy, fair, and exceptional quality. Have brought multiple vehicles in (one after another service center did some "routine maintenance" causing it to make a horrible-sounding noise) and each time Anthony has found and fixed the problem. I'll never go anywhere else!!

I found Anthony a number of years ago when I needed some auto body work done. Ever since my first experience, I would not go to anyone else. Unfortunately, I've had several opportunities to confirm that he is the best, most accommodating, and fairest guy in town. I have also used Anthony for engine service and once again, he showed me that I cannot go wrong with him as "My Guy." I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for auto body or service work. Anthony will not disappoint you!
