Other custom installation shops throughout the Chicagoland were quoting 3X higher than SOUNDZ Good and stated the rear bumper needed to be removed to complete the project. Scheduled an appointment to get a set of sequential custom tail lights installed on my 1973 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, it took additional time but was not charged additional money and the rear bumper was not removed. The job was completed and working perfectly.

Had a remote start installed here for a 23 versa,This place was great .The guy working explained everything that needed to be done , and finished it pretty fast too.Great place , fair price , and very helpful.

When I spoke to them on the phone and in person, they were friendly and helpful. I stopped in today to have my aftermarket lock/security/remote start examined, it took them 5 minutes and they charged me nothing. Thanks for your help, it is sincerely appreciated!

These guys did a great job installing a JVC KW-Z1000W and 4 Kicker KS 6x8 speakers in my Crown Vic. They were really fast, helpful and friendly. I couldn't have asked for better service. They were really smart. They knew exactly what would fit my car. These guys did an amazing job! I'm looking forward to coming back to them for more upgrades in the future!

I bought an old Mercedes that didn't have enough of the technology I wanted. Brought it to Soundzgood and Robert equipped my car with everything I told him I wanted. He, in particular, was EXTREMELY helpful, responsive, professional, kind, and fair, but everyone I came into contact with here was very nice and knew what they were doing. Cannot recommend this place enough for any/all car stereo, backup camera, repair needs!

So far the most professional audio place I've been to. An amazing selection of audio components and just wish I would've gone here first instead of looking for specific items online. The owner (Bob) helped me personally, not only reviewing the diagrams I'd made for my car but suggesting other things that would improve my installation all of which I agreed were great. Got the answer to the problem I was having and thanks to Bob, my installation will be better.Highly recommend this place over several of the other shops I've been to and which I obviously felt weren't worth a positive review.

I walked into the shop and immediately was treated with respect and appreciation and not lied about the prices in a ridiculously high amount just because I'm a girl. I grew up with 3 brothers which of course not everyone knows and many places i've been told over extra high prices for things I know realistically are priced and it's disrespectful. Octavian was THE most knowledgeable, realstic, and respectful person I've stumbled across in the car wrok/shop/etc type of things EVER! He tried to make the most cost effective way for me to get my amp working to hear my banging logic7 system in my red BMW335xi twin turbo. Things didn't work out for the best in the cheapest way which could have worked, i was understanding, he took some payment from me and honestly could have ignored my calls from there on out and just would have been okay with getting a few hundred bux which I padi for a partial payment. I'm not even sure he was supposed to do that, but all in all-he never tried to rip me off, respected me, made things happen in a timely manner and kept the utmost professional and constant communication with me throughout the process. I FULLY trust him for any and ALL audi car/vehicle work and will DEF return!! Thank you!!!

Excellent customer service! Robert was awesome and a pleasure to work with! I love the transparency on pricing before they do the work so that you know exactly what you are paying for and how much it will be! They installed a stereo for me that needed some custom work to fit properly and it came out looking perfect! I highly recommend these guys for sure!

Went to get my dead stereo looked at and they fixed it by replacing a blown fuse. It took less than an hour and my car was good to go. Would come back again if I ever have car issues.

I went to Soundz Good to swap out my in-dash with one that accommodates Bluetooth audio and GPS. They were all super friendly from the very beginning! I called to get a quote and subsequently schedule an appointment with them. They worked quickly and did a great job. The in-dash looks seamless and works well. I would definitely go back to them to do other updates to my car!

Had exterior and interior led lights installed 2 years ago and had my husband go to fix the exterior lights today. Made an appointment 2 weeks ago that they didn t actually schedule. First red flag, then they tell my husband to wait 1-2 hours. Second red flag, he says okay and without even asking him they completely redo the exterior led lights and charge him $500. How can you do work on someone s car without consulting about cost before hand?? I had a lovely and transparent experience 2 years ago. I have no idea if they just took advantage of my husband or if the sales people now are just not honest and upfront anymore. Would not recommend them anymore.

Everytime I get something installed here, I'm amazed. This time involved my Saab convertible. I brought in a head unit with back up sensors for installation. Unbeknownst to me, my reverse switch was out, so the back up sensors got no power. They set up my stereo I set out to repair my switch. They rescheduled another date and set up my sensors. After a day of work, the sensors still didn't work. After some research, it was discovered that the reverse sensors actually have to be tapped into the reverse light in two places, and they set it up perfectly on the third day. Needless to say, they do not quit until they get the job done, and done perfectly. They only charged me the original fee, for 1 day of install, even though it took 3, and 1 of the days was my fault (faulty switch). Do not hesitate to come here, they treat you as a friend. It is important to find a place you can trust, and I will never take my vehicles elsewhere.

Had an issue with my amp and they were able to fit me in a same day, last-minute appointment to install a new one. They also installed a bass knob next to my driver seat so I could adjust without having to go to the back of my sub every time. Phenomenal service!

Booked a window tint appointment 3 days in advance. Called the morning of to confirm. Drove an hour in traffic, was there on time. Told the tint guy was on the way. Waited for an hour. Apparently, the tint guy stopped answering the phone. Pretty upset, will not be going back.

Update: after having another audio shop diagnose a problem with my system they informed and showed to me how lackluster of a job Soundz good did and that I greatly overpaid. I would not recommend them and will not be using Soundz good ever again.They didn't oversell and stayed in the budget while giving sound advice. The install was flawless and most importantly the system installed sounded great! They have even done small fixes free of charge when needed. I will certainly do business with them in the future.

I am very pleased with the system that I put in my car and the service that I was provided over the phone and in person. I called 4 places in Chicago before making a choice and Soundz Good were the only people that provided me great customer service over the phone. I love the fact that I control the car with my phone or Iwatch. I like the fact that I know where the car is. I just freaking love the whole thing.

These guys are great. As with any place that does after market installs, they can run into problems. (Car manufacturers don't make their computers to play nice with after market systems.) Just plan to drop your car off for the day with no appointments you might miss if it's not done in time. They've been great here, but time estimates can go out the window if the installers run into more complications than anticipated. Same as anywhere, really. Pricing and quality of work done is excellent.

I don t believe there is a better car audio shop then soundz good and they don t stop at car audio snow plows lighting also the customer service is out of this world The guy who helped was named Octavio friendly straight to the point honest and very knowledgeable if you want your car sounding correct come here if you want take a chance getting rob by a subpar shop and have to pay double like I did it s not a good feelingThank you soundz good for being best

I've had a fairly extensive project done by Octavio and the team, and in summary they were very receptive and did quality work. I didn't know what to expect when going in, but they ended up being very trustworthy. The details are as follows:I had originally gone in to get a decent sub for my car as it was brutal on the low notes. That same day I was set up, with a reasonable markup on product and an incredible price on installation (I think they did everything (including wiring) for around $100). When I was testing it out Octavio had shown me some of the custom work they had done and could do, which sat in my mind for a month or so.After said month, I went back in to get a custom box made and the rattle reduced, which was all taken care of for $800. While I wouldn't consider that to be cheap, considering the man hours it had to have taken to make the box (quoted at about 400) I thought it was a great deal. When designing the box they listened to my input and had ported the box rather than sealing it. That later turned to be problematic.When originally testing the custom job we couldn't let it rip due to some silicon drying. The technician had done some tuning and had sealed one of the two ports. When we listened at low volume it sounded great; however, a week later when I could again run it wide open, the tuning was quite frankly terrible. Basically all the low notes were gone, and the now single port was pushing huge amounts of air without any sound. I did some experimenting of my own, and stuffing a towel in the port actually had it tuned perfectly. I brought it back in and then had requested for remaining port to be sealed, which they did for no charge. While I may still tweak the sound further on my own, I appreciated that they took the time to get it sounding better, and did so without tacking on a higher price.All in all they handled a complex job in a trustworthy manner, and had basically done exactly as I had requested throughout the process. Never once did they go over the quoted amount or try and pull anything shady, so I have to recommend this shop to others.

Awhile back they did my subs. It s been a little over a year and still the same quality sound. 5 star Rating for the craftsmanship and detail. You get cheap equipment, cheap performance. Get more expensive/high quality equipment, they will deliver and with the proper guys doing it, you won t be disappointed.

Robert and the team are great! I also believe I met the owner. He was amazing! Very friendly, courteous, and polite. A warm experience is their secret sauce. Made me feel welcome. I just came from the store very disappointed in their service. I went to have my radio disconnected. I left thinking everything was taken care. However I had to return because the panel that s connected to my radio is also connected to my heating and air conditioning. The technician never checked his work after completing the job.

I was able to come and rip my car off at 9am and receive is by 12pm. I had got a sub installation. I was very impressed and I am very pleased with how everything is sounding! I highly recommend this place to get a speaker installation as well as many other services they offer!

I purchased a remote start here almost 2 years ago. It stopped working, although the door locks operated fine. I phoned and was told to bring my car in. It was fixed while we waited. I purchased a new remote control to replace one lost last year. Both remotes were reprogramed. There was no charge for the repairs or the reprogramming. I was told the alarm was under warrantee. The gentleman was obliging and courteous and the service very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend this business.

Update. I had one of the remotes go out for the remote stats. I called them today, stopped by and they replaced it no wuequesti asked. Absolutely oitstoutsta customer setserv. I am going to come back for some window tint and a few other things soon. Cannot recmrecom enough.Outstanding service. I walked into the building, spoke about what I was looking for and got my remote starter installed on the same day. They do a great job hiding all the wires and integrating it into your car under the dash. I would highly recommend. Great service.
