Sinclair Auto good to go! Pat and Jim are good guys, great mechanics. Great service, great guys, and they know what they re doing. Much appreciated for helping me with my F-150. I ll be back to Sinclair for future needs fingers crossed not for a little bit though. A+ service!

I have been going here for over 10 years and they do a fantastic job!! I have a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT, still on the road today. They figure out the problem and fix it in a timely manner. There is a reason they have been around for so long its the great work they do and the affordable prices!!! Highly recommend for all your car needs !!!

This place is excellent. I bring domestic vehicles here. You must make an appointment. The work is top notch. The prices could be better but as I said, the work is top notch. It s hard to find an honest mechanic. This place fits the bill.

On the recommendation of my brother who has been taking his car here for years, I had Sinclair replace the struts for my 2012 Honda CR-V. I had originally wanted them to install the KYB struts for replacement but they recommended the Monroe top-of-the-line struts. I decided to go with the Monroe struts. After the installation, I drove the car for a couple of weeks and did not like the ride. It was way too bouncy and I did not feel I was in control. I took it back to Sinclair and told them my issues. They did not give me any excuses or grief. They replaced the front struts again (with new Monroes) and now my CR-V drives almost as it did originally. Great customer service! Sinclair s was recommended by a friend as the place my husband & I had used for over 25 years closed. As a female senior I was so apprehensive about finding another honest repair shop. What started out as an oil change turned into a repair of a leaking strut and a loose control arm. Pat took me into repair area and showed me the problem. It was definitely evident. I was then given a reasonable repair estimate and scheduled the repair. I came away from this experience trusting that my car was safe to drive. I totally had nothing but positive feelings about their honesty and knowledge. Incredible service. I have an older car that needs fixing, and the men in this shop are so helpful and patient with any of my concerns! As a woman, I have a hard time finding a mechanic I can trust; thankfully, I came across Sinclairs. I would 10/10 recommend for anyone who is searching for car assistance!

I was having trouble figuring out what was wrong with my truck. I took it to a few places that either charged me for unnecessary work, or just flat out couldn't figure out what the problem was. I found this shop online because of their reviews and I wasn't disappointed. True professional experts and they were straight forward and honest. Had no problem figuring out my problem and scheduling me an appointment. Known Pat since I've been a kid. He s always been an honest and fair guy. Between him and his brother I don t think there is anything mechanical they can not fix. They take the time to diagnose, communicate and fix. Never had a problem with anything they touched. Outstanding workmanship and great people.

Took my truck here to have some work done. They advised me of what needed to be done, and what didn't. They only fix what needs fixing, and don't try to run up your bill with unnecessary repairs. Work was completed quickly and the price was very fair. I was very satisfied with the quality of work on my vehicle as I always am. I have been bringing my vehicles here for many years and have never had a bad experience with the quality of work, it is always top notch, more importantly you can always be sure you will always get an honest evaluation of the work that needs to be done and that it will be performed in a swift and professional manner. If you are looking for honest and quality workmanship then Sinclair s auto repair should be your first choice.

Took my car twice to Sinclair's and both times he saved me tons of money. First time was a second opinion which I was originally told (from another mechanic) that I had to shell out $1200. Took it to Sinclair's and he said it was only a muffler panel that had to be tightened and charged me a few bucks. Second time was when my car engine locked. I forgot that Kia had a major engine recall and Sinclair's printed out the paperwork for me told me how to get Kia to replace my engine...which they did! Didn't even charge me for the towing. Honest guy...not trying to hose anyone.

Sinclair's performed engine repairs on my car in November, 2020. Specifically, they replaced a water pump. Two months later, my car is still running smoothly. They were very helpful and explained what needed to be done and why. Sinclair's pricing is very competitive and reasonable. I obtained other estimates and Sinclair's was, by far, more affordable and reasonable. Thank you Sinclair's for working with me. Ladies they may appear a little gruff, but don't let that scare you if you need car repairs at reasonable prices.Service: Engine repair

My husband and I brought our F-250 in for the fuel pump. A new one was put in but we had a small setback (as they were supplied with the wrong pump and it had to be changed out a second time.) They took care of it and did an excellent job within a timely manner. Their prices are reasonable too. We really appreciate all their hard work and courtesy. We will be back when needing other mechanical work. Thank you!

We took our Hyundai to a dealership and they quoted over 6k in repairs. I choked a little then had the car brought to Sinclair s they got me in and car repaired in a few days for under 3k. I have been going to Sinclair s for a few years now. I have had nothing but awesome experiences every time I bring mine and my wife s cars here. Sinclair s is very honest in the work they do and don t give the run around like dealers usually do. They always check on our vehicle a few days after repairs have been done. I would recommend Sinclair s a thousand times. So glad to have them in the neighborhood.

Bring my Jeep Liberty to Jim was THE BEST DECISION I made for my car. I will forever bring my vehicles to be serviced here and have recommended friends and relatives to have their vehicles serviced also. The service was EXCELLENT and my issue (heat went out) was resolved COMPLETELY. Additionally, other things were assessed and fixed that I had no clue was in need. Jim is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The establishment is clean and secure. Know that having your car / truck serviced here will be the most wisest decision made. Also this business is backed by NAPA which is another indication of their reliability and professionalism. A++++++++++ I could not be more pleased. This place is amazing. Car overheated, thermostat broke, water pump messed up and a belt melted to my engine. They took my vehicle same day and it was on a Friday without an appointment. They promptly took care of my car AND had it out before the end of the day. If they weren't able to do that I would have been without a car for 3 days. The saying of "your emergency is not my emergency" does not apply to these guys. On top of that they always charge a fair price. My whole family goes to this auto repair shop and not a single one of us have a complaint. That's at least four different cars. If I ever move out of Mt. Greenwood, I'll still go to these guys if possible. 5 stars across the board!

Sinclairs have worked on my 1970 Chevy pick up truck for the last 2 years recently adjusting the brakes & valve rocker arms and installing an electrical wiring harness. Also checking out the entire truck. I am happy with their service as I just took the truck on a 350 mile trip to northern Wisconsin with no issues. I am a new customer using this auto clinic and selected this service station from the ratings given in the Chicago's Consumers' Checkbook, and it did not disappoint. In addition to the above mentioned services I also had the brakes inspected and tires rotated. In the 15+ years I have brought my family's cars to Sinclair, I have yet to be disappointed. I brought my car in because I heard a loud roaring sound coming from the rear of the vehicle. They diagnosed it the first time they heard it - wheel bearings. They fixed it and my 11 year old GMC Terrain is running like a well oiled machine. Nobody likes the idea of forking out hundreds of dollars for a car repair, but the silver lining in all of this is I have confidence in the repairs, and in Sinclair Auto. In these 15+ years, I have never had a problem with their repairs. Plus, there have been more than a few occasions that they fixed some issues and didn't even charge me. In years past, I have spent more money and gotten less! There are very few businesses that I can brag about, but Sinclair is one of them. They care about your car!Service: Brakes

Sinclair is a very reliable service. You will get an honest quote, never be charged unless you approve. But, the thing that is the best about this business is the honesty. You will never be overbilled nor will you be paying for services you did not ask for. Left Front Axle Shaft replacement. The repair was quoted at $300, final bill came in at $460.77. The reason stated is that they intended to use a reconditioned axle, but none were available, so they had to purchase new. Nobody called to confirm that the added cost was acceptable. The repair was performed in less than a day, and they called when it was complete. I couldn't pick up before close, so they made an arrangement for me to pick up over the weekend while they were closed. Aside from the cost, everything was fine, but a 50% increase needs to be communicated and approved, you can't assume your customers are fine with it. They also did some troubleshooting on another minor issue, they didn't have the parts available, so couldn't perform the work, but they didn't charge for the troubleshooting so that is at least good.
