Ricardo had me taken care of, I could rest easy knowing they knew how to deal with my insurance. As soon as my insurance verified the work being done and what damages were from the accident we were able to get the car detailed and painted in what felt like less than three days since approval. Solid work, and the car looks better than when I bought it! Even included three free washes. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking body detailing and painting. Especially if you have good insurance.

I ve been taking my car here for years for the hand wash and have been very happy. Great staff. Once in awhile they miss a spot in the interior but they take care of it as soon as I point it out.Recommend pre-paying for the 10 pack as lowers the price a decent amount per wash (around $10/ wash?)Just had them also repair/re-paint front pumper damage and tint the front windows. Only took them 2.5 days and turned out great.

I have a black Shelby GT500, and it s near impossible to find a non-shady, non-cash-only hand car wash in Chicago. I stumbled across this place on Google, and it is exactly what I m looking for. Not only do they have unlimited car wash passes you can buy, but they have a nice waiting room and you can watch your car being washed through the waiting room windows (and the waiting room is elevated). They take credit as well as cash, and overall it s a great place to go. Their standard wash is perfect for me as they hand wash the outside, do a quick inside clean/wipedown/vacuum, and then shine your tires! And on your way out they hand dry the outside with microfiber towels and compressed air!Edit: As for some of the negative reviews, they don't seem credible. I've gone here more than 20 times and they usually have a line of mostly high-end cars down the block waiting. If you happen to notice they missed a spot during detailing (which has never happened to me), just point it out and they will clean it right then and there for you.Services: Tires, Clay bar treatment, Polishing, Auto detailing, Vacuuming, Auto interior vacuuming, Car waxing

I came in for a car wash and asked if they could wipe the interior down after noticing they didn t wipe the interior I pointed it out and the manager not only gave me attitude but the guys working on the car kept looking around and at me in the waiting room acting shady never had a bad experience with them till then they still didn t really do anything with the interior! I had to finish cleaning it!

Detailing, not so detail oriented. I had taken a friend s car in as a surprise for them. It had been quite a while since the interior had a good cleaning, so it was definitely returned better than it was. For $160 though I expected a lot more. All of the dirt in photos I ve added came off fairly easy with wet wipes. You can see where they didn t even bother moving the shifter to clean the other side. Service was very friendly and they were fast.

DON'T go here. They're charging $38 for a grossly subpar car wash, it's appalling. Trust me you could easily go to a $3.00 carwash and have a better clean. Pictures show, they left the front of my car filthy and they didn't even bother to vacuum the back seat. I didn't have enough time check or even to bring the car back when I noticed how bad it was. But I won't waste my time. I'll never ever return again. My advice to you ks don't pay this much for such a dirty lazy job, go somewhere that will give your car the clean you deserve at a price that aligns with the services.

For a car wash, go to the superior location. The one off North Avenue, I could have washed my own car in the parking lot by the time they got around to me. Slow af.

This is by far, hands down the best hand car wash in the city. Abel and his team truly care about not only your car but more importantly you. He will work his hardest to provide you the best customer service. I bring my 20 year old Mercedes SL600 into see him often as well as my Range Rover Supercharged. I wouldn't trust anyone else but River North Hand Car Wash. I have been going here for 5+ years and have had my cars washed, detailed, rim repair and of course the occasional panel paint for those unpredictable scrapes here and there. BEST CAR WASH AND DETAIL JOINT AROUND!

Did an expensive wax package, I thought the vacuum job could have been better. It s in an affluent area, be prepared for the prices. To be honest, been to better hand car wash places and have gotten much better work for significantly less money. It s not bad just not great, and, expensive. Not their fault, I m sure the rent is sky high. But based on the prices and clientele they re dealing with, I ve had better experiences other places.

I had bought a Groupon for $73 for a full exterior detailing which regular value was $170. Scheduling an appointment was very easy and they are very helpful and flexible with you. The only thing wad they only had appointments very early before 9am and had to drop off my car for about 5 hours. I ended up rescheduling twice because of my work schedule and both times were before 9am but I asked them it I could bring in the car at 10 because it was the only time I could and they said it was ok. I dropped off my car at 10am on a Tuesday morning. They told me it would take around 5 hours or so for the job to be done. They ended up calling me a little before 1pm and told me the car was ready. My car looked immaculate! I was very happy with the job they did. BUT after one day of driving it, it looked the same as before. Now my car is garbage kept and only 3 years old. I wanted to get a full exterior detail because I wanted to get rid of some swirls I had on my car do to a horrible experience I had at a "hand only" car wash. I dont know what they put on my car but for the first day no swirls but after a day or two they started showing again. One of the main reasons why I specifically chose this place was because I've passed by a couple of times and I always saw a lot of Luxurious cars,trucks and SUVs there. I got lucky I found a Groupon because I didn't pay the $170. It makes me wonder if they did they job they did because I used a Groupon and if i would of paid normal they would of done a better job....?

Not impressed... the prices shown on their website and what your expected to pay do not match. I came in for a buff and wax and their website mentioned it is $210, but they charged me $250+tax. Next, the quality of products is mediocre as the hydrophobic properties of the wax should last more than a week and poor attention to detail - with wax remnants left all over the plastic trim pieces.I do not recommend.Service: Auto detailing

The River North Hand Car Wash was in the area where I was that day, so I decided to go here and have my car detailed. They did a great job - a total of about 7 hours of work on a Cadillac Escalade, both the interior and the exterior. The car looked great at the end. I would recommend them. After looking for other places, the price at River North was consistent with other detailers. Highly recommend.Services: Polishing, Auto detailing, Vacuuming, Auto interior vacuuming, Car waxing

I've used this place in the past because it's in my neighborhood. I took my car for a wash at 4p. There was a line, so I asked the manager how long it would take for me to receive service next. He said "it should take 30 minutes." I ran a 20 minute errand and returned around 4:25p. The manager closed the shop, even though their posted hours say 5p is the close time.

Decent clean for the price! I ve been to about a dozen washes in the area, and this place went the extra step when I asked to put some more time into my interior. Car looks and smells great and certainly very affordable. I ve come to the conclusion that in order to have EVERY tiny little dirty spot cleaned on your car, you have to spend the $$$$ for a full detail. But after going through here, they certainly got most of what other car washes have missed. The manager on duty was very nice about letting the staff know to put some extra time into my interior. That goes a long way to me.

Great service. The team is very friendly. Excellent car wash and interior clean, lots of care and attention with basic wash. They also do detail, wax, window tint and minor repairs. They service numerous $$$ cars here. The cleaning agents seem to be well chosen, don't have a bad odor. Also, it's hand wash so they use less water/cleaners. Recommend

Took my car in for full detail, window tints, rim repair, and to fix some small scratches/dent. They did a fantastic job! Car looks just as good (if not better) than when I bought it. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. Highly recommend Abel and his staff if you have any detail, tint, or rim or body repair needs. Thanks again Abel!

I was so excited to find this place in the middle of the city. Once I found it, I fell in love with the service: friendly, efficient, helpful, great follow through. Oh, and by the way...amazing car wash deal! What a great feeling hopping into your car as they bring it around for you when it is done. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great/thorough car wash and efficiency!

I decided to have my car detailed inside and out because of the location and the one previous experience I had there which was good.I recently moved to the neighborhood and took my car for a regular wash and it was fine. I decided to get my car detailed and it was a nightmare from the moment I checked in.The manager was rude, told me to fill out some paper and leave. I did and asked when I can pick up and he said in the afternoon. I asked for estimated time so I can plan my work schedule. 5 pm came around and I had to call them and when I picked up my car, it still had bugs on it and it was clearly not detailed.I told the manager (name unknown because the lack of professional attire or name tag) and he and 2 others came out to clean. I started to point out more spots and he wanted to clean them right then but I did not have time to wait. I had to get on a conference call. He had over 7 hrs. To clean the car. I told him I would bring it back later and he said it's clean and to leave.I would NEVER ever recommend this place. The service was horrible and the prices are not cheap.You can go down the street to we wash car wash in River west. I would recommend any other place besides here.

This has been my go-to place since I moved to Chicago 12 years ago, and today they again went above and beyond. Long story short I brought my car in yesterday for an exterior/interior detailing and when I went to pick it up this morning Abel called me to the back and showed me a "surprise." He told me he worked with my wife behind my back to have my windows tinted. My wife said he was terrific throughout the whole process, and he even looked excited himself when he showed me. The place is just wonderful, with great people who do quality work. There's no reason to go anywhere else.

I stopped by the East Bank club location today since I was at the club to work out. I just picked up my car and it looks great! All of the guys there were super nice and definitely give it five stars for attention to detail. They had my car pulled up and ready to go when I laughed and a super fast friendly check out, pretty sure this is going to be my regular wash from now on!!

They do really good work but for the price I want my car looking perfect and I found quite a few areas that were missed. Seems so much smarter to just wash by hand and save the $40. If I were to get waxing done, or tints, or a full detailing then I would definitely go here.

A little bit expensive compared to other places. Additionally, since they aren t using machines, it may take a lot of time for them to wash the car (10 to 15 minutes when it is your turn). That being said, they do a good job. So I think 4 is a fair score.

Great experience as I have brought my car here as my last wash place just closed down. Friendly, efficient job. Nice waiting room, pleasant service. I told them a few droplets were left last time and Abel himself got out the air hose to make sure It was thoroughly dry. That s listening to your customers and the service is much appreciated. I have found my favorite wash in the city.

Excellent experience. Dropped my luxury car off at 9am. They actually called me to pick it up early too :) This is the third detail in the last couple years. Interior/exterior looks brand new! Showroom quality!! (Purchased off Groupon for a great deal.) Highly recommend their services.

I've lived downtown Chicago for over 16 years now and in that time have had 8 different cars. At the same time - I've been to nearly a dozen formats of car wash establishments. River North Hand car wash is hands down the best establishment if you are seeking the best value for your dollar. Adding to that - in my entire time coming to this place - they had the same manager - Abel. I swear this guy works 24 hours a day 7 days a week...he runs the show and it shows as his employees are very loyal and energetic. If you need a car wash go here - if you need a detail go here - if you need a tint go here. Even if you got into a small fender bender - they can fix that too. If you head there on a sunny Saturday - it may be a bit busy - but the wait will be worth it as you will find a lot of fancy cars while waiting. This place caters to both entry level autos all the way up to supercars.
