I was SO worried, about where to take Minerva. My Honda SUV needed major body work on both sides, after getting badly hit ...a couple months ago. Esp since we live in the loop now. Not NWBurbs.Finding good mechanics in general, is like looking for a needle in a haystack!! ( won't take my cars to anyone except, auto express in Schaumburg!!! May they live long and prosper!!)I say that, as the daughter of a mechanic, who grew up under a hood. And, in small planes. (thx Dad!)But they don't do body work. So. I had to hunt for a good place that: had pics of nice, consistent, body work. Across luxury car types. Without costing a small fortune. And available appointments, sometime this century, lol lol... well. You might as well, say; when pigs fly. But. Wow!...THIS SHOP...managed to make our Family SUV look just as good as the day we bought her, drove her off the lot. I was so impressed. Now, I will only use them for things Auto Express cannot do.Caveat: I did NOT sign up for car wash. We were raised to do that ourselves, lol. That's a totally separate thing! (Separate service I didn't use/ won't really)...but... I will not consider body work anywhere else! River North Collision Repair totally raised the bar. 10 stars, out of 5 stars! Abel and his team were fantastic. They provided same day service for a cracked windshield repair and gave a reasonable price. They provided an excellent deep clean to both the inside and outside of my car. Would certainly recommend!

Came in to get a paint job and dent fixed on my back door. Other places told me my entire back door would have to be replaced but Abel and his staff were able to put in the time and fix my car the right way. This place is amazing, reasonable pricing, and friendly staff. I was even offered an uber ride home and back when my car was ready. I recommend river north collision to anyone in need of car repairs. They also offer high quality car washes. Amazing hard working staff that will work with you. Very happy with the results of my car and they cleaned it up inside and out. Looks brand new!

Truely deserve the 5 stars..!!Abel and his team were really great at handling and dealing with progressive which alot of other places even refused to accept in Chicago.He barely involved me and took care most part of it.End result, I am happy with the body work, the car looks brand inside out. They did great job at cleaning the car which shows these people will go way above and beyond to retain and keep customers happy.I will definitely visit again for cleaning in few months when my car is filled with dog hairs.

Took my 1955 Chevy 210 2 dr post after it got hit in a Costco parking lot. Everyone went out of their way to make sure all the bodywork and quality is way above being perfect. Everyone from the owner to the body men go out of their way to make sure the work is more than perfect.I would advise any of my friends other owners to take their classic there for above average and quality work in great time. The owner of this business, Mike, responded to my inquiry within the hour. I was able to drop off my car for door repair the NEXT day! The man who runs the River North location, Abel, was incredibly kind and knowledgable when I dropped off the car and he kept me updated throughout the repair process. In total it took ONE week-- the Jeep dealership told me they'd have my car for three weeks... On top of that, they cleaned the inside of my car-- it smelled brand new. Abel, you and your mechanics and technicians are AMAZING. Thank you so much for fixing my car, I'm so happy with the results.

I chose this shop when I got hit and run entirely based on the reviews, but even then I didn't know what to expect. I'm happy to report they are truly amazing! From the first time I called them and spoke with Mike, they handled everything for me. Mike arranged to pick up my car from the tow yard and dealt with my insurance so I didn't have to make any more phone calls. They even detailed the car and dropped it off at my house! The entire repair took less than 3 weeks, which was way faster than I expected, and throughout those weeks Abel updated me regularly on the status of the repairs. I would recommend this shop to anyone in the city.

Abel and the team at River North collision repair were amazing! I got quotes from 4 other body shops in the area, and pricing (as well as the service experience) was much more competitive with these guys. No hidden charges or upselling! Communication was great and turnaround time was quick (5 days). I was blown away by how easy they made it. I will absolutely only consult these guys for my repair and detailing needs going forward. They stayed after-hours for me and even offered to pick up my vehicle from my house. Thank you, Abel, Bill, and the rest of the team!!

Let me start by saying Abel and Eddie have been great. Abel spent hours with me trying to get through to the insurance so they could get me a rental car. He was on the phone back and forth with the company. Eddie went out of his way to drop me off at Enterprise and pick me up when it was time to return my rental. I was hesitant (anxiety) in asking about my backlights since they were different from my original lights. I was worried they would be upset that I was unappreciative of the work they did, not a fan of confrontation. Eddie let me know they ordered the original lights and will be installed once arrived. I really do appreciate what they did for me, and hope the owner appreciates the workers he has :) If I ever need a repair on my truck, I will go back to them.*knocks on wood so I don't have another accident"

I ve had nothing, but a positive experience with River North Collision Repair.Abel, who runs the Superior location, has an efficient and professional team that was able to fix my car in time for the holidays. They also deep cleaned, inside and out, at no extra cost.Mike, the owner, was incredibly professional, gave a fair price and called to ensure I was satisfied.All-in-all a wonderful experience in an industry that is plagued with unnecessary upcharging.

Had an unfortunate situation where my car got scratched on the rear right panel. Shopping around to get quotes from body shops most of them were way overpriced, and the process from price quote to ordering parts to finished product would have taken a month. Abel and River North became a no-brainer choice. I have used them for car washes, but never for body repairs. I showed Abel the damage, and he immediately said they could help. Communicated with me thoroughly thru the whole process. And it took just 2 1/2 days! Not to mention he saved me THOUSANDS!Look at the before/after pics beautiful! The team at River North Collision are truly amazing. Mike, the owner, followed up with me after hours and was able to provide me an initial estimate based on photos I sent, which helped me follow up with the insurance company. They even sent someone out to pick up the car and drive it to the shop! Abel and the team kept me updated about the status and even finished a day early. It honestly seemed too good to be true, but they made the entire process a breeze. Thanks! I can t recommend them enough.

Last month I was involved in a car accident & needed repairs to make my car drivable again.I called around a few places and some had wait times until the end of January! I called River North Collision Repair & spoke to a very pleasant woman (her name escapes me as I write this) who informed me Mike would give me a call right away.True to her word, Mike called me within 5 minutes! Mind you, I called around 5PM. Mike was super friendly, efficient, and thorough. I sent him the estimate made by AllState, and he called back saying his son, Bill, can come pick the car up tonight and get working right away!Within 30 minutes, I met Bill at my apartment and he had excellent customer service. I showed him the damages and explained what was going on. He assured me they d take good care of it, and the handoff of the keys was as simple as that.The next day, AllState emailed me saying River North Collision Repair found more damages after breaking down. I didn t have to do a thing since River North Collision Repair and AllState worked it out.A week later my car was ready! Abel communicated with I can come pick it up. I head over there, make payment, and I was good to go!I will attach some before and after pictures below, but they don t do it justice! My car looked brand new. The damages were 100% gone and I even got a new tire since the old one from the accident was too damaged.Getting in a car accident is always a scary thing, and then after the fact, it can turn into a headache with insurance, liability, repairs, etc.But, with River North Collision Repair having top tier customer service, and excellent body work, they made this process as easy as can be. I will definitely be back (hopefully not for another accident), because everyone was such a pleasure to work with. Thank you to everyone for getting my car back to even better shape prior to the accident! We are brand new to Chicago. When our car was keyed, we did not know where to turn for repairs. I only found River North Collision online because we live in River North. I filled out the chat box on the website, and within minutes, Mike, the owner, called me to discuss our needs. That immediate phone call, and his extremely professional conversation with me, won my trust instantly. I decided to not even seek another quote. Mike won my business on that call. Essentially, his professional manner had me at Hello. And I was not disappointed. Because I'm fresh out of major surgery (why we moved to Chicago), I cannot drive for three months. Mike said, "No problem, we will come to your apartment building, pick up the car, take it to our shop, repair it, wash it, and return it to you." Are you kidding me? Where do you find service like that anymore. They returned our car yesterday and the repair work is perfect, beyond my expectation, not to mention being beautifully cleaned. Any collision type repairs we need this year we will be in Chicago, we're not going anywhere else. Thank you, Mike and team, for such professional work and exceptional customer service.

If you ve recently had an unfortunate car accident and you re thinking about River north, you ve got the right spot. The team handles you and your car with care. Always communicative and professional! I ve had them work on my old Lexus, so when I got into a car accident with my Cadillac I knew just the place and it did not disappoint. Abel and his team are always there and responded to any questions or concerns. In an ideal world no one should be in a car accident, but if you ever find yourself question who to take your car to, River north is thee best option. This is absolutely the best shop for your luxury vehicle repair and upgrade needs. Abel is the greatest and will be there for you durinylg your stressful period of being without their car. All there repaires are warrenteed without question. I would not take my vehicle anywhere else for all of my auto collision repair and detaiilng needs..

I called River North Collision Repair on a Saturday afternoon after getting rear ended. They were able to see me right away for an estimate. The rear door on my SUV was dented, and the friendly and professional staff at this auto shop quickly scheduled me for repair the following Tuesday morning. They were able to completely remove the dent without replacing the door, for a very reasonable price. Throughout the entire process, I was impressed with the efficiency, professionalism, and excellent quality of work. I'll be recommending this shop to everyone I know. (Of note, this is also during the COVID-19 pandemic and all staff were wearing masks)Service: Body & Trim

I wish I could give more stars! I was visiting Chicago for a weekend and on the way out of town Sunday morning I got into an accident. Great, how am I going to find a shop on a Sunday. River North was open. They even helped dispatch a tow truck to my location. I made my way back to Columbus, Ohio in a rental. They kept me updated on the status of my car the whole time. With being from out of town and having limited time to make it back into the city to get it, they assured me it was fine and wouldn't be charged any storage. That is too notch service and taking care of your customers. On top of all that, the car looks amazing! Thanks to Abel and his team! They did a great job!

I will give this place a 5 star. Since the moment I called they took me right away. They were very helpful and one thing I liked about them is that they were ahead of everything they did an amazing job fixing my Blazer also they were faster than other bodyshops. Dario and the team were incredible. From the moment I needed a repair (pretty serious dent on my side and broken mirror), he was prompt with his responses and made the entire process a smooth and convenient one. He answered my texts quickly, sent photos with updates and was a hero and even searched my car for my wallet when I couldn t find it at home. After the repairs were done, we easily planned for a time and dropped it off to my location, complete with a complete clean of the inside and a car wash! Will be keeping River North Collision Repair in my back pocket and Dario s number is saved in my phone if I need any other work done.Service: Body & Trim

I was like 5 stars by almost 50 people, no way it's going to be that good. Well I was certainly surprised! They fixed scratches on one of my doors and washed my car inside and out without me even asking! Quote was very quick over the phone, they had the car finished in about a day and a half. I HIGHLY recommend this place for minor car repairs and hand car washes.

My hood was done, rusted, came back the following year and had it redone, and now it s bubbling and rusting again. Sadly my street parked car has been hit a few times recently and it s old enough that it s not worth paying to do it again. I was told my car would be done by a certain time, show up and find out it s not done. Showed up another time when Google said they were open to find out they were closed and couldn t get the car. After ubering all over the city twice they offered to pay for my Uber. Last time there was tape hanging all under the car that I had to climb under to peel off. White spray on black trim pieces.
