Owner was honest and fixed my car for free. I went here to diagnose a noise in my car (i thought it was the axle or something expensive). The owner rode with me in the car and determined it was the rear brakes. He wipe the dust off, and gave my car back in the afternoon. He was nice and honest and did not charge me anything. He could have lied and charge a lot for the fix but was honest and fixed it for free. Highly recommend and will go back again. Thanks!

ELITE SERVICE. I am very meticulous of whom will work on my car, but now that I have found Rafal and his shop, I will not go anywhere else. I was recommended to him by a friend and he told I wouldn't want to take my car to anyone else again. He was right. Great service, knowledgeable, honest, fast, and quality service. RP auto sets the highest standard. Thanks!

This was the BEST shop I have been to. I have been serviced by a few places to try to solve a reoccurring starting issue with my truck and have been unsuccessful. I brought it here and they instantly knew what the problem was and explained why the other repairs done were not fixing my problem. Very knowledgeable and will definitely be back for any service needed.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I highly recommend R&P Auto. Unfortunately, I drive a Kia Forte and it was stolen in that Kia and Hyundai trend. I was able to recover my vehicle. The steering column was completely peeled and I honestly lost all hope in the vehicle. I brought it to R&P Auto and spoke to the owner and related that my car was totaled. The owner related it wasn t and he told me he can service my vehicle. He called me within a couple days and I must say my car looked brand new. He was able to completely recover the inside of my vehicle. My vehicle drives as if nothing happened. Ever since then I ve been coming to R&P auto and have received nothing but the best service and customer service. My vehicles are fixed in a timely manner. The manager tells you exactly what needs to get fixed unlike other mechanics. I also bring my Jeep Grand Cherokee for service. I ve have recommended my family as well. RP Auto Inc. is hands down one of the best mechanic shops in Chicago. Not only are they reliable and efficient, they go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied with their service. Additionally, their customer service is out of this world. They make sure to answer any and all questions you have for them, and they ensure you are informed about everything they re going to do with your vehicle. I truly appreciate the transparency. I ve never met somebody more honest and trustworthy than Rafi, he s a straightforward no nonsense kind of guy. His prices are great and the job is ALWAYS done right. I bought an old 4runner with 172k miles. Since then, R&P Auto has been my lifeline. The owner is an honest guy who tries to keep the cost of repairs as reasonable as possible. Although Rafal is very busy, he always answers his phone and has time to talk through symptoms/diagnosis. He does not nickel and dime and is extremely efficient with repairs. I have never had my car in the shop for more than a day or two. Overall good experience, my car had a check engine light on and needed a tune up. All the parts and labor involved with keeping my car maintained properly was explained in detail and was given a good price compared to other local shops. I not the type of person to sit down and write reviews but R&P Auto is one of the last repair shops in existence that you can trust that they're not going to try and upsell you on repairs and services you don't need. The owners professionalism is unmatched. After years of doing the majority of my own repairs, both major and minor my health prevented me from continuing to do my own work. I was referred to R&P by someone I trusted and gave it a shot... Not only was I pleased with every aspect of my experience I felt comfortable sending both of my childrens cars there for repairs and maintenance. Now after about 7 years I have the majority of my family and friends using R&P as their primary repair shop. We have had everything done over the years from engine replacements to simple oil changes all to our satisfaction. Raphi is a straight forward guy and believes in customer service and knows how to treat people. thats hard to find these days!! I'm comfortable and proud to refer people to R&P.

Ralph is the best you can ask for. Ive never been let down on his ability to diagnose and repair any vehicle I've brought him. BMW loaded with aftermarket parts to Ford lifted trucks including our fleet of shop trucks.Hes returned them fixed and running like new. Don't doubt the decision to let him be honest and fair with prices and you leaving knowing you made the right choice on repairs. After checking his work if I had the time to do it myself, I'd swear he treated each repair as if its his own vehicle

I highly recommend this place. Took my car in for starter, after having it towed somewhere else the day before. They (someone else) worked on the car, then very next day had it towed to r p.(1st. Time going there). They fixed it correctly, and at the best price around. Stopped by the other day close to closing time. They took care of 2 small issues, and told me have a nice day, even though I told them I bought a new car, and probably wouldn't be back for awhile. Unbelievable, somewhere else would of charged me dearly. Thanks again, giving that car to grandson, knowing it has no issues.

I am an old customer of RP Auto Inc. I always get profession and honest service. The owner is very professional and knowledgeable. I have been taking my car to this shop for the last four years and it runs great.As far as Piotr Burda's review I saw the same review on yelp posted by Michal. It looks to me that somebody has nothing to do but writing lies and not honest reviews. I also enjoyed my visit at the Kobe Hibachi restaurant that Michal M. did not like. I guess the owner was right that Michal is not used to eating sushi.

I have taken my car and my wife's car to this shop for about two years for both routine maintenance and any issues that come up. My car is a luxury car and my wife's is more of an everyday car and they have always done a great job and given me good advice. It's hard to find a good, honest, dependable mechanic but R P Auto is just that.

Rafal is wonderful person and friend. I was going through a hard time with my husband's illness, and there were many times he would come to my house when my car wouldn't start or get me a tow to his shop.. He saved us from missing a chemotherapy appt by loaning his courtesy car, my husband and I will be forever grateful. I had a big HUGH blowout on my front driver tire. Luckily I was located by R & P auto. The owner (Rafal)helped me out with just putting my spare tire on and some recommendations. It s was no charge for the services. That was such a kind jester. Awesome. . Customer service. Thank you Rafal and R & P auto staff

Ok, so here's my story....I brought in my car to have the check engine light diagnosed. Rafal at the shop replaces an EVAP valve and says all should be alright. Check engine light goes on again in 2 days. I take it back, he says he has to replace the fuel tank and it'll cost about $1500.I take it to another shop, mechanic looks at the replaced valve and says it was put on backwards. Re installs it properly and problem solved.Now, one of two things happened here. Either Rafal is simply incompetent and really did make a mistake installing the valve. The other possibility is that he purposefully installed it incorrectly in an attempt to get me to pay $1500 for unneeded work.Either way, I am greatly disappointed and would not recommend this place. On the plus side, he did admit to the mistake and refunded the amount that he charged for labor for replacing the valve. He did get kind of tongue tied when I asked him how he came to the diagnosis of a faulty gas tank though.

Guys that care about you more than they do about their pockets. Honest to a point where they will tell you what the problem is and let you drive out to see if you can get a better deal elsewhere. Also, will let you bring in your own parts and just do the labor. Very highly recommended.

Mechanic really knows his stuff,had a truck that other places could not fix, these guys did and where very honest with there work. All my vechile are now serviced here. Highly recommend
