Only ProTech can refinish a Porsche flywheel and make it look better than a new $800 one !

I spoke with Nick about purchasing a 15,000 lift on 10/2014 he gave me a price two weeks later for the forward sp15 of $7461 after taxes and freight. After speaking with my father who had previously purchased lots of equipment from him and had referred me to him I decided to make the purchase so I called him back asking for a written quote and he hung the phone on me. He was very rude and gave me a big attitude after asking for a written quote and the he also told me he was going to charge me 5% more if I wanted to use a credit card. He hung up on me twice and to begin with he never got back to me in a timely manner. I don't care if his price would have been the lowest ( which it wasn't because I ended up buying the lift from Pep Boys and they gave me a written without even asking for it , I got it delivered to my shop and saved a whopping $700 from what Pro-tech was giving me ) from anyone else because after being as rude and unprofessional as he was I rather spend more money than give him the sale. These people think they are the only parts store in town. If you want a good price and most of all good service I advise whoever is reading this to shop around.

Only reason they get two stars instead of one is because they have Sun machines and a great selection of automotive tools. However, they are extremely over priced (parts, tools, machine work) and they are not exactly friendly. (not unfriendly though). I spoke them numerous times about buying a car lift and a some other large tools. There is only one guy there that deals with those things and he keeps odd hours. Once I was able to meet with him I found out that I could buy 2 or 3 new lifts for the price of their used ones. I have also heard that they buy almost all the old sun machines that they can, fix them up and then sell them for a billion dollars a pop. Which kinda sucks because as a result it's difficult to find any sun products anywhere because they grab them up.Essentially they are a antique automobile tool museum.

I really needed some help with auto parts and Ed at Pro Tech was most helpful in making sure I got the right parts. It's very nice to have someone like Ed in the auto parts business.
