I was pretty nervous bc of the other reviews but everything went smoothly for me! Took a little longer than I expected, but was ready within 2.5 hours. Did a free full inspection and gave me the whole report, replaced four tires with the ones I ordered, and were very courteous (Kevin was the one I corresponded with). Starbucks nearby is a convenient place to wait and they kept me updated on the website and via phone.

Kevin Funes and his team are absolutely amazing! I brought my Jeep in without a real appointment, and they were not only able to diagnose the issue but remedy it in less than 3 hours. The whole process was easy, TRANSPARENT and fair.Customer service here was amazing and you can tell they enjoy what they do.

What a joke. I made an appointment for 1pm. Showed up at 12:45. They said it would be 2 hours. They totally forgot about me and didn t even look at my truck until 2 hours had passed. When they looked at my truck they told me the tie rods were too rusty for an alignment. What a joke. No point in even making an appointment or going. They were apathetic at best. Losers.

I got new tires, alignment, and an oil change. All seems good so far. It was a busy Saturday afternoon and I didn't have an appointment; they were able to service my car by the end of the day. I had some questions about the results of their vehicle inspection and they offered honest advice about what to do next.

Replaced my tires.Terrible at communication. Basically won t call or text you until the car is ready to be picked up.Dropped my car off on sat with a slow leak in my tire. They called to explain they couldn t fix it and would need to replace it, but they didn t have it in stock. I agreed to replace both rear tires. They said they might get the tires in that day but if not it would be Monday. I explained I needed my car back on Monday. They said that wouldn t be a problem and that there was even a chance it would be done Sunday.I called them sun afternoon since I didn t hear from them is it going to be ready? no. Ok, but will it be ready on Monday yes.Didn t hear from them at all on Monday so I called them at 3:30. They said it would be ready around 6 and they would call/text me.I didn t hear from them so I called back at 6:30 is it ready? Not yet but ,should be ready by 7:30 they close at 8. I couldn t make it there between 7:30 and 8, so I just picked it up Monday morning.Went in Monday morning to pick it up, they still hadn t closed out the ticket they did it while I stood there and I got a text saying my car was ready once they closed it .while I was standing there.Basically no communication from them whatsoever.I won t go there again.

Booked an appt for 2pm for just an oil change. Was told when I dropped off that it would be 2 hours. Was kinda surprised but no problem with a target and stuff nearby. Called at 4:30 and was told it was going to be another 2 hours Showed up at 6pm and my car still wasn t even in the garage. Asked for my keys and left. I ve never needed 4+ hours to get a 20 minute oil change. Also, no apologies from anyone about the total lack of care with being told estimates that were then doubled.Take your car anywhere else.

Oil change and tire replacement took more than 5 hours! I was charged various times for the same service. Don't book here unless you have the whole day open and check your receipt carefully no matter how quickly they try to get you out of the door. UPDATE: Pep Boys team reached out and informed me the issues was resolved without taking any action. DO NOT COME HERE. go to a dealer, you are way better off!

On 03/07/2024 at 12:50 PM at the PepBoys on 2604 N Elston Ave, Chicago, IL 60647I had been disrespected by an employee at that location who pretends to be the manager.This latter provided me a despicable customer service so bad that I had to take my car and leave without even being serviced.My appointment was on 03/07/2024 at 12:00 PM and this employee talked to with with so much arrogance and disdain before letting me know that I could not be taken care of until 12:50.Please take action before another customer experienced the same situation

The inspection report provided detailed recommendations and explained why the recommendation was being made. It did a lot to build trust. Very friendly staff, easy to schedule appointment. I will definitely return to Pep Boys again.

Don t bring your vehicle to pep boys. This is the second time they mess up my vehicle I tried a different location hoping I would get better results but unfortunately that was not the case. I turned my vehicle in it was drivable but when I took it home my vehicle was not able to move. They definitely damaged my vehicle parts during inspection. I was there for a wheel inspection but some how they performed a brake inspection and now my brakes no longer work and my vehicle is in able to move

2 hour quoted time turned into 5 hours to simply replace 2 tires. Technician tried to tell my daughter that the numerous crack on the sidewall was due to misalignment, but there was no cupping or uneven wear. Simply, they tried to blame the car owner to maximize revenue. I cannot trust this site or it's management.

Scheduled an appointment for 8 am and was told repeatedly my car would be ready by 8pm that day. Got the report but needed to call them to find out what I needed done and prices. Had to wait an additional 4 hours for a quote on one of the parts and when I called after 2 hours to check if they knew the price yet the sales associate seemed annoyed with me. Was told at the end of the evening my car wouldn't be ready until 10am the following day. Finally called them at 1:30 the following day and was told they were just finishing up with my car.

Long waits for check-in process. And for a 30 minute service, I was quoted the job would take 2 hours. At the 2 hour mark, my car hadn't even been taken into the garage. I had a 9am appointment (the shop opening time), didn't get to check in due to the line until 9:15am. But my car wasn't ready until 12:45pm. I was there for a tire rotation and alignment, a simple service. The advisor I worked with was really nice though.

They were over scheduled and did not communicate this. I had an appointment for 1 o clock and my car did not get worked on until about 3:30.If I had known they were running behind when I brought my car in I would ve Rescheduled my appointment.Then when I came to pick the car up I was waiting for it to be brought out to me and several of the guys in the shop were just talking. I had to say something to them to bring my car out.This is a lack of common sense and poor management.

At this store , 4 customers walked out unsatisfied. I also had to return my car. Unsatisfactory work. purchased four tires with balancing. returned car without balancing tires. advisor told me I needed front wheel. Alignment. Vehicle only needed balancing of tires.

I have an Infiniti Ex 35 2010 I brought my own tires and did a wheel alignment front & back these guys are fantastic Jose was really good at communicating and taking care of me as a customer he s great . What a great service. !!

Jose was excellent!When I arrived, he was alone. The line behind me began to grow and the customers became disgruntled. I observed how Jose remained calm, courteous and professional the entire time. He treated everyone with he utmost respect. When my turn came up, he advised me how to best make usage of my purchased items. I will be recommending this location to anyone that needs it.

I received lovely service this go round from the Pep Boys. My vehicle needed to be towed to a shop, and this is the location Progressive has referred me to and the only one that was open later. This is my second time using this location. This time I was assisted by Jose and I could tell his efforts were above and beyond. The towing company had left down my drivers side window due to lack of power when they dropped it off just before closing time, and Jose was able to go and put it up. He stayed in contact with me the following day with updates and also double checked that I wasn t being over charged for a battery when there was an issue with their system. We narrowed down the issue to just the alternator and I was charged a fair price (I compared to google prices as well). The only issue I had was being on hold for a little while, so I had to hang up and call right back and they answered again right away. Once the car was finished Jose also walked out with me to make sure I saw which parts were replaced, what they looked like, and explained everything that was done to the vehicle. I also received the test for the battery. A job very well done! They are really trying to upgrade and turn things around here.

Do not go here, they messed up my oil change. When I got home from my oil change my car started smoking and oil was leaking everywhere in my alley. I tried to make it back to the shop but my car ran out of oil, so o had to get a tow truck. Then I got back to the shop and they say they fixed the car this time. I don t know how I can trust this, and I am down $150 from the tow. Horrible.

This team is really talented at taking care of your guests and I am so appreciative of it. Care maintenance always gives me stress and I really felt like your store cared about getting me back on the road.I recently visited Pep Boys with an emergency - I blew two tires coming off the Fullerton exit. I looked up the nearest tire spot and it brought me to Pep Boys on Tuesday afternoon. I was a bit frantic, I had to be at work shortly, but I had to figure out my car, while the waiting area looked packed, with all of the phones were ringing. Kevin called me over, got my details and said he would follow up soon with my options. While waiting for an Uber, I saw Kevin immediately go look at my car and he was able to get me a price quote before my Uber arrived. Despite the store being slammed, he was still so welcoming, informative and helpful. I really appreciated how quickly he was able to get things sorted out for me.I picked up my car 2 days later, hoping to thank Kevin in person, but Kelly helped check me out. She was just as kind and helpful as Kevin was.

Another disappointing experience. Stopped in on Tuesday, explained the issue, set an appointment for Saturday first thing. Arrived Saturday and told the wait is 5 hours. Seems appointments don t matter. Waste of time, and an opportunity lost to get fixed timely elsewhere.

There the guy call Pablo he is very very mean disrespectful and I think he's into destroy that company supposedly he's a manager and doesn't know how to take good care of customers. I took my Ford escape their for alignment and they gave me a bad work so my car kept on drifting on the way. And I went there for them to correct it. This guy kept my car over there for over ten all because his ego. I bet if the business was his he will never do that.

Jose was hands down amazing!! I live in Indiana and was visiting and got a flat tire! Jose went above and beyond to try and help me I felt very valued and he did not take advantage of the situation he was straight forward down to the end! Thank you Jose!!

The actual worst. They never fix my car. They never listen to me. Every time I ve gone there I regret it because I end up having to go somewhere else right after because they either didn t fix me car or they made it worse. I went in to have my car realigned got it back with steering wheel completely crooked. That s just the tip of the iceberg. Stay away

So Happy With The Outstanding Service The Assistants Manager Jose M. Gave Me For My Car On Pepboys. Didn't Had An Appointment & Took Me In As A Walk-In. From Now On This Will Be The New Spot For Me.
