Beware......They almost locked my engine.My car was not starting so I called roadside for a jump and he got it starting by hitting the starter. So I took the car up to Parkview assuming it was the starter. They told me they couldn't find a problem so I picked my car up the next day. After only 24hr of having my car back my oil light and check engine light come on. I look under the hood and discovered that someone there took the radiator cap off and never put it back on. I called them to let them know and they denied ever going under the hood of my car. How is that even possible. I had to replace the cap, buy fluids,and get an oil change because I was scared my engine would lock due to their negligence.

Both Parkview and AAA really dropped the ball. After hours of waiting to get towed for a flat that just needed a plug, staff claimed they had no idea I was coming and then charged $69 to plug and reinflate my tire. Their parking lot was an absolute mess, and I doubt any vehicle there overnight doesn't leave with dings.Guess I should have specified I did not want premium air. Would not recommend. Will not go back.

DELLA, My 99 Cadillac, DeVille, is running very Well since I picked her up. The check engine light came on, right before my emission test was due. They diagnosed and repaired Della promptly. The charges are fair and was happy to pay. I recommend Parkview to everyone. My first time going after a impatient person caused and accident . My truck wasn't really drivable I went to the first auto shop I seen and it was Parkview Automotive. The owner was understanding and employee was helpful . Fixed the problem good enough for me to drive and affordable . Visiting Parkview was by far the smoothest process I ve ever experienced at a mechanic. The team communicates very well about what s needed, they are adorable and use technology to their advantage to inform the client of their inspection. Brought my honda civic in for steering issues Maria was very helpful with working with my insurance and and great customer service . They did a wonderful job ordering the part I needed and got me back on the road now my car drives like new these guys do a great job I highly recommend .

We brought in our car for body work, and the Parkview crew did an amazing job. The estimate was quick, and they didn t try to ask for more when we picked up the car. They are kind, honest people.They fixed the big dents and scratches, and they even cleaned the inside and outside of the car. They paint matched perfectly, and it looks great. Elias is out here ripping people off. I had my car towed to his shop thinking I needed an alternator, and I asked him to look at my AC that was on Friday. I didn't hear nothing back from him, so on Monday I called and this man had a $5000 estimate for me. I'm like I only asked you to check the alternator and AC. Then Elias started naming all this other stuff that he fixed that he did not discuss with me before "fixing it". He said I had no oil in my car, which was a lie, cause I get my oil changed on a regular basis. To make a long story short I paid $563.15 to get my car back. I would never ever do business with him again. I trusted him and he betrayed my trust. I will also be contacting the BBB on him for what he done to me.

BE CAREFUL PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY DAMAGE YOUR VEHICLE MORE THAN WHAT THE ISSUE WAS!!! Then the owner will try to tell you he did you a favor when you paid for the service!! Took my vehicle somewhere else and they showed me how they basically broke my engine cover and tried to cover it up with different cut out part!!!!Worst mechanics ever they tell you one price.They don t communicate with you as a customer to let you know the update on your vehicle you have to call them and basically figure out what they are doing. Finally you still keep calling them because they don t return your calls!!Just to tell you that the price is higher and they must do other things when on paper the price and labor is set!!! The business bureau needs to visit them!

Elias was professional and courteous. Elias did an excellent job of explaining the issues with my vehicle. Although Parkview Automotive is a little pricey, I will continue to use them to service my vehicle.

SUPER MONEY HUNGRY PPL . THEY TRIED CHARGING 175$ for a diagnostic for myA/C , I have warranty that only covers the diagnostic if certain parts didn t need to be fixed . I found a spot that would do it for 60$ and ask was it fine if I just brought the paper with the diagnostic . I was super polite but yet n still the lady izabela said rudely if you get the diagnostic done somewhere else than just have them fix it . All I m trying to do is make sure I m not out of 175$ for a diagnostic when pep boys does them for 60$. This isn t a place that s willing to work with you to save money . wouldn t recommend & don t understand how they are a trusted company with carmax . Wont be doing business with them anymore. I know mechanics can be expensive but they are just plain greedy .

Park view Automotive is super fast when working on your car. Every time I take my car they are ready with my car before I am even ready to pick it up! Every time I leave with my car after it has been worked on my car is always riding better than when I dropped it off! Park view auto motive you guys are the best!! Nearly 7, 000 worth of repairs later and trouble lights are still coming on. I can no longer in good faith and confidence recommend Parkview.I m really sad about this because I wanted to be able to Confidently recommend them to anyone needing a trustworthy mechanic. I no longer believe that Parkview fits that description and will be looking for yet another shop to take my vehicle to and just hope for the best.I ll also let AAA. know if my experience.Here is my previous review but I no longer stand by this and will be deleting it permanently.Unless you have a great relationship with Parkview I would recommend going elsewhere.Trouble lights still coming on after spending well over 6k and asking these men to make my car safe so I don t have to keep bringing it back every few months. The car still isn t fixed properly. Parkview, I m so completely disappointed.FORMER REVIEW: I have used Parkview three times over the years for problems with my car, which is an older vehicle. I learned about Parkview through another woman who is a friend of mine. I explained to her my difficulty in finding a mechanic who was trustworthy, professional and competent. She said she had good experiences with Parkview. Parkview is also a partner with AAA and I m a member so I receive a member discount.I used them and have not been disappointed. These folks really seem to know what they are doing and they really love cars!!I was impressed also by the fact that they work on many, many vintage vehicles which is a great recommendation for them because people TRUST them with their beautiful vintage cars. Once they showed me a car that they fully restored from basically a pretty rusted out condition to a restored condition. They are passionate and knowledgeable. I ve referred my neighbors to them now.They really seem to honestly appreciate the trust that I have placed in them, unlike so many other places, including dealerships!They have fixed problems I was having with my car that left me feeling unsafe driving. Others had misdiagnosed the issues but Parkview correctly identified the problems, apparently, and then fixed them so they have not recurred.This is a long review but I believe they deserve it. Decent, caring business people are hard to come by.One other thing I appreciate about Parkview is that they check back with you,months later, to see if the car is still running well. I've been a costumer of Parkview Automotive Repair for over 25 yrs and have been satisfied every single time. I've taken my vehicles for large and little repairs. They are very affordable and I have never been cheated or overcharged. They always call before any work is done to go over what repairs are needed and to let me know the price so I am not shocked. I have also recommended many friends and they too have been greatly pleased with work done for them. Elias, Miguel, Sammy, and the whole team are always very professional, courteous and do their work in a timely manner. They are an asset to the community and hope they will continue their awesome service for many years to come.

Parkview entire staff was very courteous and helpful to me. My warranty company was deliberately uncooperative however representative from Parkview, Santiago remained steadfast and professional. He continue to update me on the status of my vehicle; when warranty company finally gave approval for services my vehicle was ready the next day. I am truly impressed with the service I received here at Parkview Automotive. The staff is very knowledgeable and the quality of the work done here is outstanding. I have came here many times and each time my issue is resolved. They also offer coffee in the waiting room and give you a ride home. Thank you for your help it is greatly appreciated!!! I will send my friends and family to you because I truly trust the work that you do here. I keep coming back for the good advise they give me. I feel very educated about my car now and I am happy that I have found this shop.

Only repairs vehicles that have insurance money. They wouldn't touch my car that just needed Bondo and sanding. They also said they don't touch jobs with rust. Really!? This place is a joke. They also said it would cost me $3000 for what I wanted. So I went to a body shop in Wood Dale. Guy did a great job for $100.

I always come here for repairs as they are very honest about what needs to be done. Labor charge is $115 and hour for cars/trucks $145 for heavy duty trucks. Compared to other places that is a fair price to me.
