So, my good friend made a purchase from this place. A set of jumper cables, to be exact. She was charged TWICE on her statement and she couldn't understand why. She called and spoke with someone about it and she was told to come back to the store. I suppose it the person who rang her up (Jeffery, the name on the receipt) was able to refund her. Thing is, the money was refunded before we was able to speak to Jeffery about it. Fortunately, he was still there from earlier but it's a little suspect that the money was refunded before she had a chance to speak her peace. Who knows what would have happened if she didn't catch that error.

I paid for a battery and the install was free as always but the employee named Timothy asked me to give him ten dollars and I laugh because I thought he was joking mind you I was going to give him $20.00 but he messed that up. I m inside and he just walks past me like he was done I asked him is that it he says ohh you can give the mechanic the ten dollars and said who approved for him to do anything on my vehicle he s not a licensed or insured mechanic and you thought it was okay to just let someone work under the hood of someone else s vehicle without proper authorization. This company just lost a lifetime customer and I m a business owner. Why does the manager have a dog in the store?

I came to this store on 02.01.24 to return a battery for a core charge refund at about 1530. There were two cashiers waiting on customers. There were not too many people in the store and I was next in line. Two more customers came in and got in line behind me. One cashier (Cortez??) completed the transaction with another customer and I was next. That cashier decided to discuss with a lady who picks up parts for auto repair garages, about how he was going to barbeque tomorrow in the back of the store. He divulged an entire menu of what he planned to cook. He repeated that menu twice then added, "If anyone wants to bring something and throw it on the grill, I'll cook it!" They continued to laugh and giggle behind the counter as we were waiting to be serviced. I stood there perturbed and asked if he was serious because we've been standing here for service. He then proceeds to pick up a part (an alternator in a red box that was on the counter) and walks "Maria" to her car with the part. Another cashier waits on me. Customer service is important to me but clearly not the priority at this location. This store is minutes from my house but I will NEVER patronize this store again. It only takes one display of unprofessionalism for me not to return to a establishment.

Rodney was so incredibly helpful! My tire shredded on the highway and he so quickly changed my spare for me without hesitation. Kind folks and terrific service!

Called this place goofy b!t(h closing said he was closing the store at 850 I got there at 843 and was already shut down stay away from this store they always lie to u here and cost u money so now I gotta return the favor baldy

Just called to see if I can get a warranty on my battery manager told me they don t do that anymore called another store and they were able to assist me bad customer service

I really appreciate the help and tips from the staff. Especially Curtis. I was so worried and Curtis just hoped in the conversation and told me what I need to do....very impressive. .and he walked me to my car to show me how to put my anti theft system together....thanks!. Somebody genuinely helped me ....thanks

I called and Victor was very pleasant and kind he answered my questions concerning my vehicle and when I got there he was very helpful. I definitely highly recommend O Rileys at 87th State. Great service and excellent professionalism. Thanks Victor

This has to be the worst customer service I ever received. Come back at 2pm we can install your battery then. Back at 2pm Still won't and nobody is even in here. Sorry we short on staff. Can I use your tools to out on myself. Sorry we don't have any Okay so how were you going to do it at 2pm. They stole everything from us. I hate the way your Company treats me on Southside if I were in Suburbs totally different. James needs to be Fired now I'm stuck in your parking lot with a dead battery. Can you give me a jump sorry it's broken.

Kinda bad. I received an email a day after my order was supposed to be delivered. And it still hasn't arrived. Although he did reorder my part for delivery, it was like he had better things to do. So hopefully my order will be there, instead of a faulty email.

Always helpful and very knowledgeable people. In and out in under 15 minutes. I did call first to make sure they had what I was looking for. Great place for auto necessities and not as expensive as their competitors.
