This is literally the only place I trust, both inside and outside of a dealer or manufacturer's representing entity. Everything that I have had done here has been 100% effective and lasting. No waste. It has taken years but my trust now runs deep with Nortown.

Nortown will do work on anything brought into the shop and get the job done the right way. The shop is run by good people who know cars and are passionate about cars. Expect quality work.

I searched for a reputable and SKILLED shop to work on my bucket-list truck, to replace the Engine Mounts, Transmission Mount and replace my Air Conditioning Condensor...They took their time, which I appreciate, as I don't want a RUSHED job, I want a GOOD job.Their shop rate is MORE than fair for the quality of work they do, and I will not hesitate to go back there in January to have them do some preventive maintenance work I want to have done.Thank you , Jimmy and Crew for the EXCELLENT WORK and for going above and beyong on this last job.

As a parent whose kids live in the city and have cars, I can't tell you how comforting it is to know there's a shop like Nortown. They are professional, courteous and most of all straight shooters - fair. Jimmy will give you time and make sure you understand the problem and the options. I have a very old car and, when my engine light went on, a friend suggested taking my car to Nortown. I'm so glad that I did because there were some major safety issues that they corrected. It's running very smoothly now.

I'm very impressed with Nortown Auto. The shop is so clean, it looks more like a showroom than a garage. When I picked up my car, they took the time put it on a lift and walk me through everything they did under the car. They also talked to me about some potential issues that may occur in the future, and showed me how and why those repairs would be difficult/expensive. They were passionate and excited to talk about every car in the shop. Seemed like they treated every car they work on like it's one of their own. I highly recommend Nortown Auto, and plan on taking my car back to them in the future.

Jimmy and his team are amazing! The team is friendly and welcoming. They make you feel like you re family. They did great work. You can tell they have pride in their space. The shop was very clean and organized. It made me feel good that I came to the right place. I will be back!

Came in for an oil Change, got a free estimate on other work my car needs but did not feel pressured to get the work done. Told them just the oil change today and they said sounds good and rang me up. Top tier professionalism from all the employees I interacted with. Will be back. Thank you Nortown.

I have been going to Norton Auto for at least 15 years now. I have always been impressed by the level of service and quality of work performed. They work with you to find the best solution for your car and are conscious of your budget. I have a BMW and most people are not able to work on this car other than the dealer. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and something I like personally is that they show you the old parts. May not interest everybody but as something that I like to see.

In the years I've been having my Cadillac STS serviced at Nortown I always leave knowing that once again Jimmy and his guys gave me the best work I could get. They are knowledgeable, courteous, honest and make sure you are fully satisfied. There can be no other than Nortown servicing my car in the future.

Jimmy, who owns this family business treats his customers with care and respect. I was really in a bind with complex suspension problems and he and his team took excellent care of my son and specifically identified the technical problems, solved them quickly and efficiently and cost effectively. I would highly rate his service to everyone that is in need of top quality auto repair at reasonable rates.

I have used Nortown a few times now. But this latest time was a huge disappointment. They charged me nearly $250 to change/balance a tire and hit the wheel with a hammer a few times. That did NOT include the tire itself. All in a tire change cost me nearly $500!At minimum they should have given me an estimate of what it would cost before going through with it. I originally brought my Audi 8 to Nortown because a colleague had recommended them. I found Nortown then to be abundantly experienced and professional. I had to bring in my BMW 335i in for repair because the chargepipe from the turbo had complete blown apart which also destroyed the 'boost sensor'. I had it towed in, and they let me keep if there for 3 days while I had higher quality aftermarket parts shipped for the repair. Once the parts arrived they found a cracked hose from the coolant expansion tank and promptly ordered the parts and had it fixed. There was a lot of labor required due to the location of the chargepipe. They were very fast and helpful the entire time, and I was always informed on the status of my car. I will definitely be back for any mod installations or service that I will need in the future.Service: Engine repair

My tire emergency light came on when I needed to go somewhere right away. Stopped by chance at Nortown Auto and asked them to check it for me-expecting a nail or something worse. Turned out it was a loose air valve! So appreciate their honesty! Thank you Jimmy! Will come back!

Wow, this place is the best - they basically do it all, car repairs / stereos / car starters, everything. They had a completely full shop but they got me in for an oil change fairly quick! I think the best part was the location: I walked around home depot looking for supplies for my next project and the next thing you know, the car is done!

I have to imagine my brakes are in their "Brakes Hall of Fame" and not sure how I was stopping my car when I brought it in, but Mike worked on them forever to even get them off. They did an amazing job getting them replaced and were very thorough. Thank you!

Was charged $125 to use the diagnostic reader for my check engine light. They said my O2 sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. The quote for parts/labor was $780.89...$200 for parts alone (which is WAY too expensive for those parts) and the labor cost was so high because they estimated the repair to take 3.5 hours. This is not a big job, and they were just trying to rip me off. Won't be using them again.

Just off the Kennedy at North Ave, top notch repair work, reasonable pricing and a nice group of auto mechanics. Been using the Nortown group for years. If you live nearby, you really outta them a shot.

Very expressive ! He asked for $ 56 to change one light bulb and $56 for air filter. I changed the bulb for $15 and the air filter for free . He gave me estimate work about $1000 which I did for $300
