Lake is very honest and fair. The quality of work is second to none. I highly recommend if you need mechanical or body repairs on your car. Call amd make an appointment as he gets booked fast.

Took my car here multiple times as well as my family this guy is awesome name is Lake. Very knowledgeable caring person body work and mechanical work is out this world. Your a blessing lake thank you again. Highly recommended!

New Urban is now my go to spot for any repairs I may need. We had some very bad storms in Chicago a few weeks ago and a tree branch fell on my car, doing some major damage and destroying my back window. I didn t realize it until the next morning and was panicked, not wanting my car to be exposed to the elements or someone crawling in and stealing anything. I was on the phone with my insurance, and they were calling garages in the area on my behalf to try to at least get my car in a safe, indoor space until it could be looked at. Laiq was about to close his shop, but waited for me to get there.Communication was above and beyond during the repairs. They were very very thorough and my car looks so good.They gained a new loyal customer. Thanks guys!

The shop is excellent fair, reasonable and fast. Ladies they will help you and not take advantage. Hands down the best auto shop on the north side. My car looks amazingly brand new!

recommend by a friend. Went in to get estimate for the repair and instantly decided to repair my vehicle. amazing personality and best service. very polite and man with his word. my vehicle was ready as his promise to be done. Love his work. highly recommend to anyone who wants to repair a car. my first time going into the place but definitely won t be the last time because this place was amazing. owner is very nice and seems to have great experience. He just gained the customers since my entire family will be going to repair all the car at his place.definitely 5star.Service: Body & Trim

I ve used this establishment several times and they have always done fantastic work. Lake possesses that rare mix of expertise, integrity and professionalism. On top of that, their pricing is always reasonable and turnaround fast. While I wish no one car problems, but if and when you do, this is the place I recommend to all my friends.

Damaged my car during repairs. Changed axle assembly and did not put transmission fluid neither informed that they drained the transmission fluid. Damaged and broke interior while installing parts and they are not cheap.

Highly recommended I took my Infiniti suv which was rear ended there and they fixed it in good form and I remember my logo came off during the accident so they placed back on but the logo turned out to be upside down which made it more fabulous

Had a very good experience taking my car here to get my car's driver side mirror replaced. I called the shop a day before so I can get some info about pricing and the owner of the shop answered my phone call very quickly and was honest. The day I took my car to the shop, the owner was quick to address me and got my mirror replaced in a reasonable amount of time even though it was kind of busy. The owner kept his word on the pricing he told me over the phone. I am pleased with my experience and I plan to take my car to this shop again for any future repairs.

I have never heard of this kind of body shop in Chicago. The first job they did for me impressed me in quality and price that I decided to get my another car fixed as shows in the pictures attached. The owner is friendly, flexible, and professional. If you have a body work and unless your father or uncle are able to fix your car and if you want a decent job with limited budget, this is the right place to go.The only problem is that they are too busy (very, very high turn over) to follow you up. You'd better write down and take pictures of what needs to be done in every single detail and text to the owner or keep the copy. Keep reminding them what to be done. I would rather do those to save $$$.It was such a nice experience to work with them. We should let this kind of guys have more business and $$$$$! Thanks Mr. Laiq!!

Sorry for delayed review. I was on a serious time constraint over the summer to complete my Father s Day gift. My mother and I bought my dad a restored 70 Pontiac GTO which was his first new car. The mechanical fine tuning took longer than expected so had to complete paint job in less than a week. Lake the owner did a phenomenal job in prepping and painting the car in the original Pepper Green color. He always does excellent work is reasonably priced and honest in all my dealings with him. Keep up the great work Lake.

I got my car fixed quick and I was informed of what was wrong with my car. Very professional and great service! The only thing I noticed was that no one was wearing masks, but everyone was socially distancing. Everything else was great! SUCH a nice experience. Laiq is warm and welcoming and made me feel completely relaxed about having repairs done. He quoted me for the work within 5 minutes, and gave me great advice on how to save money for my work. When he saw me looking at my phone out front after I walked out, he asked if I needed a ride to a bus or train- which I accepted. SO nice!! When i picked the car up , he showed me images of the small fixes I may need in the future and even showed me on a part in the shop what he meant. I'm so glad I have a place in the neighborhood now that I trust and wont be terrified when my car has issues :) Thanks Guys !!

I never write reviews but I want to let everyone know how wonderful my experience was at this shop. Laiq and his team are amazing! My car broke down and I was able to drop off my car for them to work on the same day. He had to order a part for my car to replace my broken one and even cleaned out my pipes because he noticed how grimey it was. (Super considerate) Laiq is very genuine and sweet, he will go above and beyond (and I can t stress it enough) to take care of any of your needs. I have never received such great customer service. So stop your search now and check them out

I have been using them for all our fleet vehicles for a few years now. They have been our one stop shop for not just body work but mechanical. The oil changes are super fast and they are usually pretty good about turnaround for routine Maintenence. Definitely beats dealer prices. Trust and workmanship is our top priority as a business for our fleet cars. They stand behind their work and get it done right. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Excellent mechanic for car repairs. Priced very fairly, with excellent turn around time. This man honors his warranties and stands by his work for good reason. I would never hesitate to take my truck here for repairs, glad they're here for me.

Amazing shop , service , owner and team. I thought that i have "big@ issue with my car until i met Mr. Laiq passing by the shop who convinced me for the opposite and fixed my car for 2h for the best price in Chicago ( called 1000 shops before to ask for quote ). They got knowledge and can fix everything just stop by and ask! Thanks for the service again and i will be back !

Such a good and charming experience of talking and being taken care by Mr Laeeq the owner of the place. They had quoted me $350 at first which i agreed too later reduced to $200. He says we have used fuel lines which were cheaper in cost so have reduced the cost for us. I have saved $150 / plus the fuel leakage is stooped too. Thank you New Urban Auto and Laeeq bhai.

I've had cars in for maintenance and repair at New Urban Automotive twice. It's a small sample, but Laiq has been friendly, honest, and knowledgeable and the work was done promptly and at a reasonable price. HIghly recommended.
