Almost waiting for the guys to open the store, waited till 8:50am timing mentioned was 8:30am i dont even want to give 1 star rating for these guys

I had an exhaust leak and I stopped here to have it checked and to get an estimate.Both guys that were working were very friendly and honest. I like the fact that they actually show you whatswrong. They don't just rattle off mechanic jargon that you can't understand. And they're prices are very fair and even better than a lot of places. I definitely recommend. As a matter of fact I will be bringing my husband's car in tomorrow for the same thing. Also they did my exhaust while I waited. I was very impressed at how quickly it was done.Service: Exhaust

I was in and out in 40 minutes. Efficient, friendly, and great prices. I had my exhaust looked at before and was quoted 600 for replacing my muffler and exhaust. All I needed was a patch job and these guys did it for $80. I am customer 4 life.

They don t know what they re doing I took my car there to install secondary cats back on it , they welded 1 and the other one they couldn t weld it because it was hitting the other piece and they didn t want to fix their mistake when I told him about it and kept telling me to go outside and that that s how it s supposed to be done . These parts were on my car before and they fit perfectly fine if you can t do a job the right way don t do it at all ! Very bad customer service and bad jobService: Exhaust

Had an exhaust leak and was planning on fixing myself with the part I had but couldn't since I didn't have the proper torch to break the bolts. Came to Mufflers 4 Less and they replaced the exhaust section, fixed another leak and was all completed in less than 40 minutes at a great price. There are tons of mechanics in Chicago. Even more that will say they do it cheaply. But you can tell they want you to spend more. I've been quoted over $1300 for exhaust work on my 2000 Camry. And it was LOUD. Like, straight piped VQ loud, if you know anything about cars. It was starting to get frustrating. Until I happen to swing by this gem of a place.There were few words. I pulled up, he took the car. Put it on a lift. Showed the problem. (the cat has rusted away from the resonator.) Fixed it. And I was out in LESS THAN 20 MINUTES. that's a cut, weld, and handshake in less than 20! The price? $60!! And now my Camry purrs like a kitten. I was shocked! I still am, to be honest.These guys are no nonsense, to the point workers. And that's my favorite kinda mechanic. You've made me a happy and long-time customer. Thank you.

Great choice for fixing any exhaust system issues. Ramon always takes good care of anything I have asked him to with competence and dare I say heart. I can only recommend this place and doing so enthusiastically!

ONLY TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU NEED A NEW MUFFLER. DONT TAKE IT TO FIX BECAUSE THEY'LL LIE TO YOU AND TELL YOU IS SOMETHING ELSE. I took my car because I had a check engine light and took it for them to tell me what it was and they said it was the catalytic converter. I trusted him and at the end the problem was another thing and they charge me hundreds for it. Let alone that they probably sold the catalytic for even more money. You don't have to listen to this comment but find out for yourself.

This place is great. The prices are totally fair and the owners seem really honest and transparent about the work.They showed me what needed fixing and offered some different options. I waited forty minutes and then was on my way.Skip the Meinekes of the world and give since local owners a little love. You won't be sorry.

James ShawOctavio and Ramon are two of the most honest and friendly gentlemen you will ever meet. I called Mufflers 4 Less located on Pratt and Clark Streets on a Monday to make an appointment. I spoke with Octavio and he told me one was not needed. I own a 1997 Saturn SC II. He patiently explained the possible scenarios and said that the process should take anywhere from 20-45 minutes. I told him I would be there on the following Friday morning. He told me the price would depend on what was wrong, what parts needed to be replaced, and he gave me the option of a repair or just make the car quieter.Octavio and Ramon were very friendly and professional when I arrived on Friday at 9:45am. They put the car on the lift and showed me the damage. The verdict was as follows.The exhaust system was damaged in three places The flex pipe had a huge hole in it, the resonator was rusted out in 3 spots, the exhaust shielding/cover which ran most of the length of the car was loose, and the muffler had a hole in it, half it's size.These guys not only repaired and replaced the needed parts on my vehicle but Ramon noticed an area where the front exhaust pipe joins the manifold was losing compression and they fixed that as well and showed me all the new parts. All for $220.00. I was out driving in my nice quiet car at exactly 10:30am.The minimum price quoted to me elsewhere was $600.00 while the Saturn Dealer, assuming that they hadn't discontinued making the parts, with parts and labor, would have cost me over $1000.GREAT JOB Guys!!!

The short and fat guy it was very rude talking to me he asked me to wait at the office or go outside . He can ask me nicely to do that. I know him for couple years but no more business with rude customer service

They charged me $10 just for tighten the muffler screw..it took less the 2min, he didn t accept my card..he asked me just cash. When I told him it s expensive, he responded that s the business..I ain t never back to that place...sucks!!!
