I had stopped going to this place after the owner manager Luis shocked me by charging me $400 just on labor for a spark plugs and brake pads. I was not expecting that since he never charged so much before. Had I known I would have done them myself. He also forgot to put my engine cover back on which cost me money in the future to replace. Well today my daughter who s visiting me had a muffler issue and I found myself back here. When I realized where we were headed I tried to get her to go to a different shop but she wanted to just get it done anyway after waiting he Luis came in to ask if someone tried stealing the converter to which I said no. I went out and he showed my the flange what separated from one side and they would cut the other end to replace it. Quick fix but he said $150 because that part costs a lot. I told him fine. Went in the office and looked up the part. It cost $30! I wouldn t refer this place. He s a crook.

Here again after 3yrs 5months (09/26/2023) this time I m getting a different muffler in terms of quality. Still a good place to come.I ve been going to this place for almost 10yrs. If you want a good muffler at a reasonable price this is the place to go. My most recent visit was this Friday 04/17/20. I called over the phone to confirm they were open. I got to the place and the whole replacement/installation took about 15-20mins.Very satisfied customer! I recommend this place to everyone.Replaced muffler on a 09 Impala

I realized there is some noise coming from my exhaust, and i checked i saw one of my muffler got disconnected, i checked nearby places and this place popped up as closest one to my place. Went there the guy told me go get exhaust clamps from your dealership and come back and i will fix it for you, but didn t have time for that so instead I opted for him to put pipes and fix my exhaust, overall 30 minutes in and out.Very friendly and smooth service highly recommended, will definitely go back.

Had an emergency flat tire with my car, and they were able to get it taken care of in about 30 minutes. Definitely lucky to have this place in the neighborhood!

I went to another shop they told me the fix would be $450. Unable to afford I left. For some reason last minute decided to give this place a try.They showed me the same spot said $150 I definitely won t lie made a little face.Luis, I believe he is in charge said what can you offered $130 probably less would have been ideal but honestly $450 to $130 is a big difference and for the simple fact of being thoughtful enough to ask and try to work with me. I agreed.Extremely thankful. Very friendly staff. Super quick. In a matter of 35 mins I was ready to goThank you Mufflers 4 Less

I have mixed feelings about this shop. They do decent work, and don't seem to try to rip you off. However, as a female, I've been there twice, and the owner has hit on me both times. And in a super slick, underhanded way that you can't see coming. He will be explaining my cars repairs, when out of the blue, he asked to take me out?? And 2nd time I went, again, he explained repairs then asks for my number? And says he'd make a great bf. Like HUH? It catches me off guard each time, cause we will be talking about my car then he immediately pivots to hitting on me. Please don't do this to your female customers dude. We aren't living in the 1950s. Women deserve respect while at your shop, not to be harassed to date you.

Luis and the guys are awesome ... I've been having work done on my car for years. I was a CarX fan until I discovered them. They do a lot more maintenance than just Mufflers, are very reasonably priced and do excellent work.If you need something done, talk to Luis. If he or his guys can do it, you pick up the parts and they will install.I send all my friends to him ... no one has been disappointed.

Rude workers who do a subpar job.I had them fix mufler in my car and even tipped the guy. Later, I noticed something was making a rattling noise.I went back to them and was going to ask just to take a look if they left something loose. They straight out ignored me as I was trying to talk to them.I waited over an hour until there was only one person left in hopes of talking to them. They still acted as if I wasn't even there.I'm 6'4 and 240lbs person. There's no way they didn't see me, and I was trying to talk as well.After that, I realized I was wasting my time and decided to go elsewhere and pay to fix their work.I know this place is tempting because they're cheap, but trust me, you'll end up spending more in the end plus the frustration.

As you pull into the driveway don't be put off by the look of this place's interior, it hasn't changed a bit in 20 years . I swear the piles of catalogs and exhaust parts haven't moved in all that time. Not to mention the grimy looking chairs placed to one side of the catalog library and aging piles of paperwork in what is loosely considered to be a waiting area. So, why do I come here? I needed a new flex pipe for my Camry and was expecting the job to run about $250. I was charged $140 and the job was done just 20 minutes later. That's why I'm a customer, a good job that's done quickly and although the manager's accent is a little heavy, his sense of humor shines through.Service: Exhaust

I took my lexus in for work here due to a noise coming from my muffler or exhaust. They told me 2 hours so I left. If you get work done here please stay and wait and ask to see the work and the area these guys cant be trusted. After i left they called me 15 min later and said I needed a new flex pipe for $120. They did the job in 10 min. I took an uber back to pick it up when I could have just waited. I drove off right after they closed and noticed my car still had the same noise, nothing changed. I then took it to a cedrtified mechanic They lifted the car and showed me how poorly done the welding was on the flexpipe, it still was leaking air. This new mechanic went ahead and did his job correctly and detected the problem in 5 min right in front of me and said the noise is coming from the muffler. if MUFFLERS 4 LESS would have inspected my car correctly they would have found that my car had a leak from the muffler not the flexpipe. they wouldnt give me any type of credit. They have a hustle for fixing things that take them minutes with little exspense/cost on there end. They even told me its probably your catalytic converter after I told them the flexpipe issue. They have a hustle for fixing things that cost them very little time and money. They lied about the flexpipe and tried to get me to come back for more lies on a catalytic converter. This new mechaic fixed the muffle "not the catalytic converter" and i no longer have noise. He even properly welded my flexpipe that Mufflers 4 less swithced which was still leaking do to these idiots. He even said the flexpipe they used was not the heavy duty one that they told me they put. they lied in so many ways and cannot be trusted. Do not go to this place!

Problem was diagnosed and repaired in 20 minutes. No wait. Good prices and excellent workmanship. Miguel and his assistant really know their stuff! It was a pleasure to do business with them. I've visit this location on 2 separate occasions. Both times I was not acknowledged nor was I told someone will be with you soon. On another occasion I was ignored for 2 customers of a different race. The work there is good. It's the customer service I have an issue with.I visited the location 6800 N Clark and when I drove in the lot a gentleman walk up to the vehicle and acknowledged me and told me it'll be a 2 hour wait. I appreciated that!

I went at the place thinking they can give me a quick estimate of work needed to be done. I asked simple questions, showed them part and didn't get any answer. The guy just left. There was no come a little bit latter, wait a few moments or at least have a good day. If you want to feel like an idiot holding muffler in one hand while waiting for any response be my quest. This rating should have negative numbers too.

I just stopped in for a quick repair with my 3 month old baby girl. The service was great, and cheaper than I expected. The reason I'm giving them 5 stars is because when I got there, music was playing, and I didn't notice it change while I was waiting because my baby was asleep and I was into my phone. However, when I got up to pay, I realized they YouTubed "baby lullaby music" and it had been playing since shortly after we arrived. THAT is exceptional service.

Love this place! I have now been here 3 times.... Toyota Sienna, Toyota Camry, and Ford Aerostar. Always the best value for a complete new system or just repairs. What would cost $1500 at a dealer will cost you less than $200 here. Great people!

3.6 stars :Update: 2nd visit took over a 1 hour wait, plus 30 mins repair time.You're next...I was repeatedly told... as others cars were repaired. Maybe better to drop off... Surly, salty mechanics and crew are weak on the communications side...but good mechanics.That said, it's a decent exhaust repair shop. They fixed my 26 year old cars' exhaust by cutting and replacing piping for $120 which took 45 mins. I took the test drive and noticed an additional minor leak at resonator, it took another 30 mins to correct. Now my exhaust is near silent.Probably a good place for catalytic converter replacement after a theft...They are prepared for O2 issues.They completed a donut replacement 7 years ago for $120 and it still works fine.An O2 bung replacement is $60 at the catalytic converter. They remove and weld in a steel bung hole to reinstall O2 sensor. I had a Check engine error P136 after rusting a hole. Always buy quality a quality brand, preferably the same as original 02 Sensor. Amazon and others available online at 30% savings versus regular Auto Parts store.Spanish spoken. No bathroom, nasty waiting area.Discounts for cash...

Stopped in for muffler rattling and moving around found out previous muffler shop had reused rusted out hangers ....they replaced all three in less than 10 minutes. 40 bucks in and out my experience great!

Great little shop. He will repair your muffler not gauge you for a new one unless absolutely necessary. He's the only guy I'll go to for mufflers.

They first quoted me at $40 then it went to $160 after paying the $160 before even pulling off I noticed the problem was still there so they pulled the car back in (3rd time) then said oh we didn't notice it also needs a gasket which will be $80 parts and labor and because I questioned it because this was all in one day they got mad and sarcastic and the worst part is wasn't using the correct term they told me "thanks for remembering me how to do my job" I think he meant reminding either way i WILL NEVER GO BACK

120$ for a simple weld on the manifold, 1 week later sound is worst than it was!Don t waste your $ amd if you do haggle for the price.

I went to have some work done to my car, I was treated very courteous and when the job was completed the manager was quite jovial while preparing the bill, I definately will be going back there.
