I wouldn't recommend anyone go to this shop. I recently took my truck here to get the transmission serviced, & after dropping it off they hit me with the "it needs to be replaced, because we don't open transmissions" which was the whole reason I took it here in the first place. They waited a day or two just to tell me this after i already payed a deposit. So youres a transmission shop, but you dont do transmission work? They could have just told me that before I payed, & I would have went some where more professional at that. I paid an arm & a leg just to get my truck back with so many more problems than it had before I dropped it off. My truck is leaking antifreeze, & it wasn't, it's leaking oil, & it wasn't, & I have a handful of check engine codes with the diagnostic that there is an issue with the transmission sending data to the computer, & that probably is the reason for these unexpected electrical problems I started having after getting it back, & I had no electrical problems before dropping it off. I called the shop, & they claimed that it wasn't because of the work they did that all of this was happening, & they would charge for labor again, even though it was within warranty. I know my truck since I do most of the work on it myself, & it wasn't leaking antifreeze, or oil, & it had no electrical problems, or engine codes prior to being taken to this shop. These people are slick as can be, & I would highly consider going to another place to service your vehicle. I wouldn't be surprised if they did the work on my truck, & didn't do it right on purpose, thinking I don't know my stuff, that way I would come back, & have to pay them to get more work done. It was a terrible experience, & wasn't worth a single penny I payed. They even lied to me about the transmission they put in my truck, claiming my truck had 150k miles, & the one they put in had 160k, when in reality my trucks transmission only had 130k miles, & because of that it seems highly likely that because my transmission was in pretty good shape besides the work it needed done, they lied to remove it, then keep it & remanufacture it in order to sell it. I can't believe this happened. It's like I've been scammed, & it was super expensive. It's unbelievable. That's what I get for trying to support a small business. I guess if I wanted the job done right, I should have went to a place that would have done the job right, but unfortunately, at my own cost, this place didn't do the job right at all, & now my truck is worse than it was, & has more issues than before I took it to this shop.

Place is way over price dont come here unless your a dumb this place thinks its on hollywood blvd go down the block to another place any place and its 100 cheaper youll see

Left trash inside my car s hood, did not change the fluids, could of just said they did not have the capability to work on my car. Just go to the dealership shop or meineke, especially if your car is an older model, and their clerk at the 103 location is not helpful at all, just rude.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I always take my car to be serviced here. The prices are more than fair and their mechanics are knowledgeable and really know their trade! I've used countless other businesses and never found one I felt comfortable with until I took my vehicle here.

Beware of this place! Biggest scammer and will mess up your vehicle and tell you that you need those things done and over charge you for parts and labor. Took me 6 weeks to finally get my car fixed after them touching it.

Owner is the biggest scammer I know. Ripped us off big time. Charged us more then what the dealership would charge and they messed up my car. Don't ever go here.

Gabe was great! I'm here visiting from Casper, Wy but I grew up in Mt. Greenwood. This is by far the best place to have your car repaired! I waited until I got here to have my car looked at because I've had previous cars repaired here and the work is always exceptional! Thank you to the Mt. Greenwood Auto Team! You guys are great and the service is always above and beyond!

The servicemen are always helpful & very knowledgeable. I have been taking my car here for years and as a woman I've never felt pressured into getting services or repairs that were unnecessary. My car is always repaired in a timely fashion and the prices are very reasonable.

Had some electrical issues going on with the alternator and starter for my vehicle. I figured it would be there forever to get repaired. I was wrong. They diagnosed the issue and made the replacements that was needed. The runs like new now. Thanks guys for such premium service.Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

I have been getting my and my wife's cars (at least 7, both foreign and domestic ) serviced at this location for well over 10 years and it's because of the great service that we have received. Gabriel, keep up the good work!

Ha, this is a joke of a place. It was my first time here so I called to make an appt a few days ago. I showed up today and could not find anywhere to park. Since I'm new to this place, I thought that was the reason, maybe I didn't know where or how to enter the lot. The lot is microscopic, by the way. (Parking stress alert! What are we downtown?) I tried twice and pulled over on another street and called them. "Hi, so I can't enter your lot, am I missing a parking lot? I haven't been here before." Them: "Well, we have two tows today blocking the entrance so we'll have to reschedule you." I said "When were you going to tell me this, it's already 830AM, my appointment time!" Them: "I'm sorry, blah blah blah... How about tomorrow. You can drop it off, it may take 1-3 hours."No thanks! 1-3 hours? I've had tires rotated and balanced in that time. This is a stinkin' oil change! I'm not dropping off my car in your unorganized, unprofessional hands. Also, how could I even bring two cars to drop off one? There's no where to park two cars! No thanks, I'll go somewhere professional with actual - you know - parking for CARS! (Thanks stupid Valpak coupon!)

Everytime they fix something it fails in short time.did pads and rotores in april put 500 miles on them and theyre shot.I brought them lifetime warranty parts and they wont honor labor.Wheel bearings 40 days Needed new ones.They go by a book if it says 2 hours they charge that even if it takes 20 minutes.Very high prices.

fredo and his main mechanic gabe, are old school all the way , terrific people . excellent service and they keep their word , besides the fact they get you in fast and are the most affordable . the work is guaranteed and nice to know there are still honest business men

These guys are terrible. They lie about where their parts come from. They damaged my front end and did not fix it. Also, parts where stolen off of my car. Spent thousands on a new motor and they gave it back to me with a roof knock, and they told me to pay for it! It's insane how they are in business still.

Great service and unbeatable prices. Half the cost of "Jiffy Lube" and other oil change places. No pushy up selling of unnecessary items like air filters and wipers.

Took days to get car returned .Fixed stuff that didn't even have anything to do with passing emission test. Then said needed another 1000 dollars worth of car repairs in order to pass the emissions.

Have been going to this shop for about 10 years now and it"s the only place I bring my cars to. We have 3 cars in our family and one is 15 yrs old so I'm in there 2 or 3 times a year and they have always done great honest work for us.

This shop has been trustworthy and slightly cheaper than others. They can usually get an estimate and repair my car the same day if I get there early.

I found this place a few years ago when I moved to Evergreen Park and I haven t taken my car anywhere else since. Everyone is a professional and friendly. I ve already recommended this place to my friends and family.

Car problems..? Big or small, Mt Greenwood auto repair will take care of you, great service... They make sure the problem you come in with is gone when you leave... 110% satisfactory

This place is very unprofessional, I called them prior to coming and they told me that they were available to service my car with no wait. When I get to there the guy tells me that they can't service me because they have a major project and not enough people. Said his boss is the one who answered the phone and he doesn't know what be going on here just tell people to come in without knowing what's going on in the shop. This experience was unacceptable!
