Mike replaced both of my 2001 Heritage Softail's tires. He also replaced the rear pads & rotor. His work was both excellent and timely. My bike was back in one day. Mike's also a real nice guy! Thanks for a job well done.Services: Tires, Brake service & repairServices: Tires, Brake service & repair

Great place to go! I was totally in a pinch - Mike looked at my bike immediately (even though my bike is older than he typically chooses to work on) - saw that it was a battery issue - swapped out mine for a brand new batter and I was off. So great!! He'll absolutely be my go-to bike guy for maintenance on my bike.Fair - Honest - Knowledgeable - Very ConvenientI definitely recommend using him!

Mike did a fantastic job. He was professional, did quality work, and his equipment was well maintained. Was careful picking up my bikes, did a great job securing them, was communicative. I felt Mike did a great job, provided answers to all my questions, had a very fair price, and you can tell he loves motorcycles as well. He tuned up my two bikes, a Honda VTX1300R and a Honda ST1300. Both run wonderfully after the servicing. He offered pickup which was fairly priced, but I wanted to mention how well maintained his bike trailer was. Nice covered trailer, so the bike is safe, had a good ramp, well maintained tie downs, tools in a small work table in the trailer. Great work.

UPDATE: My original review was posted below. That was before, when riding home, my left foot pedal completely unhinged while riding. I understand it was a small mistake to not completely tighten the bolt holding my pedal in place, but if it wasn't for the slow moving traffic I could have been seriously injured. When talking to him about it he did not come out to help/rectify the situation, and all I asked is that he replace the Honda issued bolt that is now long gone. He told me he would in May, and I doubt its coming. His lack of professionalism when things went wrong due to his mistake majorly impacted my review, and the consequences that could have played out is why I would advise caution.Mike s Motorcycle Service was not only professional, timely, and reasonably priced, but Mike took the time to explain the problem, and how I can avoid it in the future. For context, I ride a 2004 250cc Honda Rebel, and within the past year I have had 2 oil leaks. While the problem remained my crank seal (had to have it replaced during my first oil leak), Mike had it replaced and ready to ride in less than a week. He explained how my frequent expressway riding to school was causing the build up in pressure on my crank seal, and cautioned me to avoid 75+ mph highways in the future as my bike is only 250ccs. If you have any motorcycle concerns definitely check him out!

Went to Mike to get my 2017 Hyosung GT650R's first 700 mile service. He did a good job(that was my initial notion).Initially, all seemed fine and dandy but later I found out that the motorcycle was running on a single cylinder. So, after a few days I had called him to ask if he remembers having checked both the spark plugs, to which he said "I don't really remember", and I can see why, given that he operates on many motorcycles. I asked him if I could stop by so that he can take a look, to which he agreed. The next day I call him, he doesn't respond. And in the days to follow, I called him multiple times and left him 2 voice messages, in the hope of getting the motorcycle fixed. He never took any calls, neither did he respond to my messages.I see this as quite unprofessional. At least, if he had told me that he could't fix it or isn't willing to work on it, I would have made peace with it, but he never responded and hence the poor review.

2 stars because I ve never dealt with the guy. Just extremely upset that business hours show it s open, but I called over and over again and didn t even get an answer. Basically, my bike s rear tire valve developed a leak at high speeds. I live an hour away, but the bike was at my brother s in Berkeley. I looked all over Google for motorcycle shops open on Sunday. I was ecstatic when I saw Michael s was open. I called and no answer, so I figured he was busy and left a message. I rode from Berkeley to North Ave at Rt 83 and had to refill the tire. Then I made it A few feet to his shop and the tire went completely flat again. I looked around and couldn t find an actual shop but discovered he works out of a storage unit. Whatever, I could care less where he works out of, as long as he can help. So I call, call, call and call. No answer, despite the fact he was open . I ended up having to ride to Arlington Heights to another shop and stopped at 5 different gas stations just to fill up. Thankfully I found shop that was open on Sundays. Not cool to show you re open and someone who really needs your help has to struggle to get there, only to be completely disappointed.EDIT: I Googled motorcycle shops and this one showed it was currently open, as well as the Harley dealership and The Toy Shop and Motolounge. I m guessing the hours of operation have been corrected.

Brought my 01 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 classic motorcycle into his shop recently. Needed a carb job and a tank cleaning. Fast, clean and best of all fair price. Also, he offers pick-up service which I needed. Great job. Recommend this shop! Thanks again

This guy literally has a shop out of a storage unit at storage mart , so I was a little skeptical at first. However, my thoughts were different after I said " screw it" basically and decided to give him a shot and realized I'm about to be a returning customer for the price he charged for pick up and delivery. not to mention what he did for my suzuki. I needed a carb job and it ran effing perfect after the job was completed .

Was able to squeeze in a carb rebuild at the start of the riding season, when all the other shops in the area estimated a two month wait. Quality work with a quick finish. Very reasonable pricing. Many thanks, Mike.
