Had the P-car in for plugs, fluids, and a tune. Also I felt they were best qualified to install carbon fiber trim in the interior. I m a perfectionist and don t give google reviews unless I think the service is absolutely outstanding. These guys know what they are doing and trust them implicitly. (Ask my wife, that rarely happens). Tom is a consummate professional. His knowledge of P cars is impressive. I feel like I m in better hands than the dealer by far!

Midwest is great! I had an alternator issue and they got me in quickly. Fixed the problem and was back on the road in a day. The crew is so welcoming, the prices are very reasonable, the communication is frequent, the garage is so clean, and the work is always done with care and accuracy. If you want to pay for all the frills like espresso, snacks and fancy facilities go to the dealer. If you want honest people who care about you and your car as much as you do go to Midwest Performance Cars.

MPC serviced my classic Porsche for several years. After incredibly disappointing back-to-back issues I had to stop giving them my business.The first failure was a incorrect suspension installation. After driving the car a couple hundred miles it started pulling to the right. I took it to the tire shop for an alignment and they discovered that the suspension bolts were loose!Because they had been good historically I, stupidly, gave them a second chance. I had the same vehicle in for relatively major service. Driving home I realized they broke the HVAC system and it would only blow hot air. When I complained they told me I had declined and additional charge to inspect the air conditioning, which is different problem than only blowing hot air.Edit from owner response:- Yes, the suspension was at fault ~2 years and *250 miles* after the service. Regardless of time or mileage those bolts should never come loose. The fact this is a point of contention should be very informative Obviously the shop that discovered the issue wasn t going to release the car in an unsafe condition. MPC was provided photos of the loose bolts, etc at the time.- Again, there is a big difference between air not chilling and air only blowing hot. The first is a known issue and the second makes the car undriveable. This wasn t an issue until after MPC service thus there was nothing for me to mention.Trying to spin poor quality control and communication back to the customer is exactly why people shouldn t trust their business to MPC.

My brother recommended MPC to me several years ago, so when I was looking to upgrade my car to a Stage 2 tune and Fabspeed exhaust on my 911 Turbo S I ended up at the Northbrook location and was extremely happy with the work and help they provided.In an unrelated incident, I had an oil leak most likely caused by a manufacturer defect. I called MPC Fulton Market and they took me in immediately, trouble shot my car and went out of their way to help me. Aimee was extremely attentive to my needs, making sure I knew what was going on and even arranged my transportation while they were troubleshooting my car. Paul went out of his way to discover a solution to the problem and fixed everything immediately - I m supremely confident that Napleton wouldn t have been able to diagnose and fix the issue as competently as MPC.I will continue to give MPC business for my Porsche (although I m sure they do a bang up job on everything else they service too!). Very competitive prices for the high level services provided - you have a customer for life!I highly recommend MPC.

Midwest Performance Cars always does a great job and is a place I can trust. I originally took my VW here to get a second opinion back in 2019 on some repairs/service and they were able to provide me with the comfort of what s needed vs not needed and I believe they charge a fair price for the service. MPC has been my go-to for all my car needs and would strongly recommend them.

I took my 340i to get some work done and this shop was seriously fantastic. They were very nice, their shop is very clean (full of cool German cars), they charged a very reasonable price, and they even paid for my Uber on the way home after I dropped my car off. They even did a full inspection of my entire car and included photos and comments of everything they found. Amazing. Love it. Can t recommend this shop enough!

I have been taking my BWM to MPC for years and have had a great overall experience. Chris and Aimee do an excellent job explaining each service and always take the time to field my (many) questions which really goes a long way in helping me understand the issues, the options, and build trust in the process. I also really like the system they use to send inspection results and capture approvals for work which makes the process smoother and more transparent. I even had an instance where an issue with the car persisted after service and the team worked with me through the warranty process to ensure it was covered and fixed completely, which just underscores the great partner MPC is and value MPC places on their customer s experience. The team is fair, reasonable, honest, and does the job well which is why I will keep coming back.

This crew provides next level car-care and service. Everything about the operation (Fulton Market) is a model for how to run a high quality garage. From the technicians to the front desk it's all top rate.Shout out to Aimee for, months later, remembering my 3 yo loves owls and bringing in owl stickers the day I dropped of the car just in case the little guy was with me.

MPC did a great job on my 2013 BMW 335. Did all the maintenance it needed and addressed a few 'normal' issues with these cars. Will definitely be back!

I came here thinking I d know exactly what s wrong with my car and they wouldn t over charge me for things that weren t which is exactly what happen. my car was over heating and they tried to charge me 1400 for a radiator fan, I went to another shop that only charged me half of that, they said I needed a engine belt but the other shop I taken it to said it was nothing wrong with my engine belt, they said my lug nuts was bogus yet they broke 2 and acted as if they fixed them, I GOT CHARGED 1100$ for them to tell me nothing but lies about my car. They got me out of 1100 acting as if they inspected the whole car when it was them guessing the problem. They told me 14,000 to fix everything yet I took it to another shop who had My car fixed and running like new for less then 3000. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY

BMW repair experts! Come to Midwest Performance for your one off issues and this shop actually performs diagnostics to validate the issue other than the dealership who just read OBD codes or review technical service bulletins.

Great repair shop. They went above and beyond to help me out. Amiee stayed at the shop late to wait for me to come in and paid for my lyft to the next location. They also give military discounts and show appreciation to the military. They called the day after I picked up my cat to make sure they was no issues. Overall a very wonderful experience.

Found MPC on yelp as I was looking for a comprehensive PPI (pre-purchase inspection) for an out-of-state Porsche purchase. MPC got my prospective vehicle in quickly and performed an extremely thorough, detailed analysis of the vehicle. They also made themselves available for a lengthy follow-up phone call. It worked out and I purchased the car! Recommend these folks!

Having read many of the reviews, I decided to try them out for myself. I have found Jonathan and Chris to be a great team and given superb service on Porsches. Not only do you get a photo update and report with pictures taken throughout they really know their cars. Are used to take my car to Porsche, but I have found that these guys a superb job and give you even better service. I have no problem recommending Midwest Performance Cars to you and your Porsche. Also give you a extensive warranty on the work that they do which gives you peace of mind.

This place is amazing. I found a car that was in Chicago and wanted a PPI done before I flew in. Long story short, they did an excellent job on the PPI and I retrieved my car. Their PPI was in depth and Scott sat on the phone with me for a hour going over the car. Exceptional customer service.

Spoke to Ben about working on my S63. I would figure he would answer any questions I had concerning my car and work that s going to $15k-$30k but instead he chose to be rude and act like he s been wearing a dirty diaper all day. I ll go to another shop where I can be treated like a customer and not someone that s getting work done as a favor.

Absolute class acts at Midwest Performance Cars. I ve brought my Porsche Macan here a couple times, and both times the guys here have been incredibly forthcoming with what needed to be done and how they were going to take care of it. They ve come in under time estimates both times and shared progress pictures all throughout the time they had the car. Prices have been entirely reasonable which is rare for this level of service in the area. I can not recommend them enough and won t hesitate to continue using them.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

I had electrical issues causing the battery not to charge. I've used Midwest Performance before but it's so far from my home so I tried Volkswagen dealerships. I'm not going to mention by name, it was a waste of money & time. I had the car dropped off with several issues and within a couple of days I was picking it up running & a satisfied customer. What I appreciate is how they work directly with you to solve the problem. Great technicians and business aptitude. I should have listened to my first instinct.Service: Electrical repair

I used to take my car to the dealership, where I always had to ask other car-savvy friends to see if my car needed everything they were trying to push. MPC gives me easy to understand reports of which repairs are needed, how urgently they need to be done, fair estimates, and a quick turnaround on service. I like that they give me the autonomy to choose what to fix, without any pressure.I've been taking my Audi TT to MPC for years. Chris, Paul, and Aimee are super kind and professional, and I 100% trust them to keep taking care of my car!

As a first time customer didn't know what to expect. Although I knew what work I wanted done they did a courtesy multi point inspection. All work was done professionally and fast. When I dropped the car off a courtesy Uber took me to the train home. When the car was ready again a Uber picked me up. All and all a good experience. Oh, and Aimee is the best! Will be attending the upcoming open house.

Super friendly and efficient. Much better value than the Porsche dealership. Chris walked through the vehicle with me and did a great job diagnosing and flagging potential maintenance items to keep in mind or discuss with the dealer as potential warranty claims. There photographs and diagnostic report was incredibly helpful and included in the cost of oil change. Can t recommend enough.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

From the very first phone call and throughout the experience the team at MPC were fantastic. The communication was excellent, with Aimee sending status updates throughout the day. The service I requested was to install both front and rear brakes, rotors and sensors. The labor charge was very competitive and so much cheaper than the dealership. They re already my recommendation for all my friend and family and will definitely be coming back for future services!Service: Brakes

You want knowledge experience and they back their LS PROGRAMING. Well worth it with out a doubt ! Zack is a awsome Tuner for sure. I made some errors and they still were there for me to complete my LS swap ! Thanks ! Very rare to find the service they provide !
