I attempted to book an appointment online, and it stated that the appointment was not yet confirmed. When I called to schedule, they provided me with an appointment, but upon arriving on time, I was informed of a 4-hour delay. It would have been appreciated if they had called to inform me about the delay. I won't be returning to avoid wasting my time again.

my regular oil change service center was backed up, I called and spoke to Gene on the phone and got in in a crunch. He was very nice although the service took way longer than expected and from what was estimated/told. Additionally, I had several issues after my service that Gene quickly addressed and/or rectified. I would recommend to ask for a print out of your pricing breakdown prior to servicing your vehicle so you aren t in for my surprises. I will also say the guy in the shop doing the work was very kind (I wish I knew his name) and listened to concerns and took initiative.Service: Oil change

I had to stop in because my car was having trouble turning on and my brakes had also been making a weird sound for a while. They explained the issues to me in a way that made me feel very well informed. They serviced my car quickly, and the work was very well done. I highly recommend this shop. It is top-notch!

Eddie and the guys are Awesome. The owner Gene also made sure I was taken care of. They prepped my Porsche for the track including brake rotors and pads, fluid flush, oil change, new wheels and tire mounting, and it performed flawlessly...

First time coming in to get an oil change.. I initially decided to come in since I had found a coupon online. I had a check tire pressure light on and a tail light bulb out. The kind gentleman in the front office noticed and kindly had those extra things taken care of for me. Their system was down but he still honored the coupon.. The price was very reasonable. Overall fast and kind customer service. It is definitely appreciated. I wish I could ve left a tip.. But thought a nice review would also be nice as well. Thank you.Service: Oil change

I've been coming to this shop since 2019 and the service I receive is nothing short of excellent, every single time. The staff is kind and professional; the waiting area is well kempt; and the owner is dedicated to providing the best experience for every customer who walks through the doors. From dealing with larger engine issues to a simple oil change, I've trusted the folks at this Midas to care for my car for 4 years now, and will continue to in the many years to come.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

My dealership jerked me around when I got a tire bubble/leak and had lost my tire keys. Apparently, they sold me a brand new car with non branded tire locks. As such, they offered me a "deal" of $179 to "break all the locks" before changing my tire (of course, not covered by my tire and wheel protection) because they couldn't use one of the master branded keys.I walked into Midas unannounced. I was immediately comfortable with Lee. He promised to get my car done by 2, and I believed him. He told me exactly how much everything would cost. I also requested a related service someone else had advised me to get, but Lee told me not to waste money on it and why.Lee's team took the locks off for $80 less than my dealership offered, then changed my problem tire. They even finished two hours early than promised.Lee is a nice, honest guy. We had a nice chat and some laughs. What a breath of fresh air!

Labor prices seem a little high but I have gotten satisfactory results each time I have used their services.My lower rating is due to the fact that I was very unprofessionally contacted after my last visit.I was texted on my personal number after I paid and left asking about my age.It is hard enough to find a reliable place to take my car for service without dealing with unprofessional staff making me feel uncomfortable about returning.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I came here after the first Midas in Lincolnwood didnt have a technician available to look at my steering console after a break in, thinking these mechanics are pretty cool. I still stand by the mechanics here being knowledgeable, patient with your questions, and telling you what's up for real with the parts needed and stuff. They're the best part of this business.Homeboy at the front desk with the muscles and white hair however talks to you in a rushed manner, quoting how swamped they are and not to waste his time if you're not gonna order parts or get the car fixed by them.If you're swamped, tell me you can't do the diagnostic instead of taking my car and then talking to me like I'M stupid when I tell you the quote is too high at the moment. That's why it was a quote, WE verified it together.I don't know his name because he didn't have a business card, but he wasn't even the fckn manager. Bro, the receptionist talked to me like I was stupid for wanting a quote.So if you can get past the first boss, the mechanics are fantastic, never had any issues with the work they've done.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Don't ask for an oil change .. the manager disregarded what I normally get and decided to give me fully synthetic oil instead which apparently "costs $100" and then when I questioned it, he said "yep ... that's why Hondas last forever. This is what your car is supposed to get". Way to give a loyal customer of 6+ years the middle finger ! Never coming back to this location

So I recently visited thislocation, since I always get my oil changes atMidas. But Never have I ever had this horrible service done to my car. I came in for an oil change in which I waited over an hour, only to realize that this guys did anincomplete job. I guess the guy working on my carforgot to finish the job replacing my air filter. Thisperson literally let me drive away with a hose nothooked back and the latches in the filter cabinetopen and filter expose. What kind of job are this mendoing? Worse service ever received. I came and paid for a professional service and so I expected the job to bedone properly but instead this people did anincomplete job that can eventually mess up my car engine !!! My car Was making noise right after leaving their facility. They should really have a better protocol tofollow and do a secure check before returningvehicles to the owners, and they wanted mymoney to do my brakes and tires.

Nice people, put in a catalytic converter, who knows where it came from sealed a leak with muffler tape charged a premium rate. Car is at the dealership having it done right. Thanks for your excellent service,

This is my second review. They somehow deleted my 1st review. The front desk mechanic was nice. But when I saw the estimate i asked for a discount. The owner who was sitting behind the mechanic heard me ask and rushed over to me and started explaining to me very rudely and disrespectful why they won't give a discount. Afterwards I was afraid that he might order his mechanics to intentionally break something in my car. If they delete this review. I will post another one. I'm sure they have enough fake reviews already.

fine work. but they will fix on your car what they think they should, not what you tell them.9/3 Midas had their employee call to rectify the situation? In turn he made it worse. I called this place to make an appointment for a wheel alignment, and an oil change. I only got the wheel alignment due to their attention to my tires. I know the issue, and had appointments elsewhere to have them changed. I went in to drop my car off for this appointment, and they claim I never said anything about the oil change. In person, maybe not - but why make an appointment? Plus, this is disputed heavily, as I am pretty certain that it was the first thing I mentioned over the phone when I was checking to see if my groupon would work. I also checked when I could take it in, and how much all of that would cost. This fool better not call my phone again to argue. This could have been left at that. Not using this business again.

I have to take a minute to commend these guys. The staff is the highest level of professional and kind. They took my car right away, had the patience to hear out all my questions and concerns and got back to me surprisingly fast to let me know the prognosis. What really impressed me though was Eddie, who I believe is the manager, offered options in different price ranges without any pressure to spend outside my comfort zone. They're an honest efficient crew and clearly care about their customers. The stress of having to get my car repaired was significantly alleviated because of Eddie and the staff. Thank you, I will most certainly return!

I took my Chevy Avalanche here after going to a few other places to try to have the alignment corrected.Eddie was great, not only was the customer service exceptional they also got the alignment perfect. The other places charged me for alignments but it never came out right.Thanks for the great work!

Eddy and Co. at Midas on Irving Park were professional and courteous. I showed up without an appointment and they took care of my needs for my car and had me back rolling with little wait time. The shop is clean and super professional and all the staff were really easy to work with and it was actually kind of fun hanging out there. I recommend this shop to anyone especially if your in doubt about taking your car to a new shop. If you have a big job or routine job, make an appointment you won't be disappointed.

This is my 3rd time going to this location for an oil change and have always been told I needed extra work. I've never thought anything of it..... I want a safe car. Today I was observing and realized everyone who was leaving before me was being told their repair cost was in the $400 range. Sure enough my vehicle also need that much worth of repairs. I probably would have done it had the service rep not said my wipers were fine. My wipers have needed to be replaced since last year. He said my lights all were fine....one of my tail lights is out. He also said my tires were almost at the end of their life....I just bought those brand new 2 years ago and I travel 10 miles to and from work. He didn't even notice the banging noise by the right front tire. That was hard to believe.Instead of making money on honest repairs they want to make their money on fluid changes.NOT TRUST WORTHY!On a personal note. Regardless of the business, a manager should always look presentable not looking like he steppes out of the Jersey Shore MTV show.

Lee was very helpful when I came in for an oil change and Oil Pan Gasket Repair which other shops had told me I needed replaced. He raised the car up and showed me where it was leaking from before, explained the benefits of repairing where the leak was coming from. I left to get the car replaced and he called to update me the Valve Cover Gasket was needing replaced. When he discussed the costs he explained how paying in cash does provide a discount. The total cost went from $640 down to $500.

Just really want to say a big thanks to the manager Lee. Came in thinking I had a problem with the brakes but it turned out to be my front bearings. He really went out of his way to explain the problem, the severity and the best solution for it. Not the best news but he was more then fair with getting the work done and not ripping me off as a authorized car dealer service shop would. Thanks again Lee and will keep this place in mind for any future car repairs.Service: Steering & suspension repair

The crew here do an amazing job. The midas corporation should be proud to have such great staff. these are workers who will not give you the run around and who's main focus is to get the job done well. I wouldn't trust any other place. Lee is great, and the manager and other members are sociable and knowledgeable. You truly feel like your taking your car to that awesome uncle who happens to love fixing cars. If you have have a bad experience with mechanics come here they will definitely change your mind.

I got a groupon to try this place out and it's alright. Eddy was very pleasant, the wait wasn't to long considering I didn't have an appointment. The washroom was amazing for a mechanic shop. And they have a keurig. But it's kinda far from my house so is not worth the drive for me to go back.

Have had several terrific experiences with this Midas. At this point, I won't take my vehicle anywhere else for major repairs. Gene and his crew are extremely responsive, honest, knowledgeable, do quality work, have fair pricing, all with quick turnaround.

Great experience I caught a blow out and another tire shop wasnt able to get the tire off. I stopped there 5 mins before closing and they helped me get the tire off and put my spare on for me. I truly appreciates their customer service on this busy Friday evening.

I had my car break down right at the interstate near this Midas. I lost power to the wheels. I do a lot of my own car repairs and could tell it was a transmission or axle problem. My initial reaction was to have it towed to my house or a shop local to my house. I randomly noticed the Midas a block away while working the phone to get a tow truck. I went in and they sent someone out to look at the car. He crawled underneath and was able to diagnose that it was a axle break, the better outcome of my suspected problems. The guys from the shop helped me push it into the shop (rather than needing to wait for an expensive tow) and had the car repaired quickly and under the quoted budget. I would recommend using them.

Eddie and his staff made my experience at their shop an A+. They were very socialable and made my oil change / battery change faster than any other shop I've been at. Highly recommend going to this location.
