I ve been having issues with my car recently saying I was low on oil and had to drive back home on short notice at the end of last week. I wanted to make sure my car was in good condition, so I reached out to this Midas location. Sebastian was very helpful over the phone and managed to get me in ASAP! Once there, Nick, Sebastian, and their team worked quickly and efficiently to make sure I could go on my trip without worry. They double checked my tire pressure, my oil levels, and recalibrated my tires. I was super impressed and appreciative that they were able to help me out while I was in a pinch. I would definitely recommend this location! Thank you!!

Nick is the man! I bring my Surburban in occasionally (has a few miles on it) and Nick is always welcoming, remembers me, is very well informed and does an amazing and quick job every time. Couldn t recommend him and the team more. Thank you!

I was surprised at the very professional service and the honest recommendations that were done by the manager that would save me money on my car repair. He also offered recommendation on other services (like rim repair shops) that helped with my issues. They made me feel like they really cared about my car's issues and were committed to fixing them, this does not happen often, I have to say. So I'm definitely coming back and will trust future service to this shop.

Sebastian and his team are the best.Got a nail on a tire, we called and we were able to drive in.8 minutes later the tire was patched and we were good to go.Amazing customer service, fast and efficient. Got a customer for life.

March 16th I had my exhaust system replaced for a great price. The staff here are professional, polite and considerate of your time. I plan to allow them to service my car on any future repairs

I am a long time resident of South Loop and with 2 cars in the family we did some repairs work in all available shops in South Loop throughout those years. I can reassure you that you will not get a better shop around than Midas. Price are reasonable, staff is honest and professional and very friendly and understanding of your needs. You have a feeling that they care about you and your vehicle and that unfortunately is very rare now.I really appreciate the customer service of Sebasti�n. We did numerous repairs to our cars at this shop and we are very satisfied with the work and customer service. Strongly recommended to try this shop! You will not be disappointed!

Very fast and accommodating service.I had a flat tire, so the team at this Midas repaired the flat within the hour and I was on my way again. They were also professional and knowledgeable.

Came in on 2/8/24 with a nail stuck in my tire but tire was not yet fully flat. I wanted tire to be plugged and repaired. They told me that they could not repair my tire because they say it was not enough threading and also claimed I drove on the flat too long. None of this was true because the tire was never fully flat and I brought the car in right away. After they claimed not to be able to repair the tire I told them ok, and I took the car down the street to Lee's Auto Clinic. My flat tire was instantly plugged and repaired and they told me it should last for a few months, in which time I could purchase a replacement tire. Today is now 2/12/24 and the tire is still full and has no issues. I recommend avoiding this Midas location and going elsewhere. They aren't trustworthy and don't want to do any work.

I had such a great experience today! I came in this afternoon with a battery issue that I could not figure out for the life of me. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the gentlemans name who helped me but HE SAVED THE DAY! He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, hard working, and quick with his work. I was out of there with my problem solved in under an hour and he even advocated for the other Midas location to reimburse me since they installed the wrong battery which lead to so many problems. Great experience! Will definitely be back!

Service was above and beyond!I called right before they were closing with a nail in my tire. I was losing air fast. Instead of turning me away like the other Midas I called, Sebastian and Nick said no worries. Come on in. They had me on my way in no time. This experience was strictly due to the incredible staff. I cannot thank Sebastian and Nick enough!

Brought our car in with a flat and they took a look at it right away. They were able to tell us exactly what was wrong. They didn t have the tire on hand so they put our donut in for us free of charge. Whole thing took 20 minutes. Very nice and helpful staff!Service: TiresService: Tires

I brought my car here for a simple repair. But was told my car needed additional repairs. They offered some discounts.I stood with the original repairs + what made sense vs the over sell of alleged repairs needed. My car is still fairly new. I ended up taking my car to a different mechanic to get a second opinion. Sure enough, they told me my car didn t need the repairs this Midas location was claiming I needed.At this point I m fairly certain. I highly recommend you to take your vehicle to a different location. Don t allow yourself to get ripped off! Of course they throw discounts at you; it sweetens the scam.

Wow! I ll never use this shop again! They are so unorganized. I understand that delays happen but The guy at the front desk was rude when I asked what was going on with my vehicle. They even act like it s a hassle to be working on your car. They have very poor communication. You would think they have top notch service for what they are charging. Well now I have to take my vehicle elsewhere, it s making a sound it wasn t making before I dropped it off. What a waste of money and time! Do your selfs a favor stay away from this place. Your car could come out worse than when you took it in.

One of my tires on my vehicle had a slow, leak. Staff identified what the problem was, it was a nail in the tire. Staff repaired the issue free of charge. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

If you like to be respected & not taken advantage of save yourself some time and money and take your car elsewhere. I initially brought my car here for an oil change. That led to them telling me I needed almost two thousand dollars worth of repairs. After getting those repairs, I picked up my vehicle and immediately noticed the AC wasn't working.I called the front desk person, Sebastian, right away and he told me to bring my car back the next day. I did as I was told, dropped my car off at 945 am and was called right before they closed and was told I needed to pick up my vehicle.Once there, I'm informed they didn't have time to look at my car. So I coordinated with Sebastian to drop off my car another day. The second day I'm told that my AC still isn't working. They claimed to have checked it & recharged the AC but then stated since the recharge didn't work it had to be a sensor issue & therefore an issue that wasn't caused by their mechanics. But keep in mind my AC was in working condition prior to me taking my vehicle to them.I got overwhelmed and had my friend gotalk to Sebastian since they're more familiar with car terminology. Sebastian immediately became condescending, looked at me & told me he'd only speak with me since the car was mine and completely ignored all the questions the person that was with me was asking.I was then told to take my car back a few days from then. Not the next day because they claimed to be too busy to look at it. I took it back a few days later. During mid day, I get a call from the new manager. The first thing he tells me is that he had to bring his 15 thousand dollar computer to work because of me. That he never travels with his computer but since they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my vehicle that he had to risk his computer and take it outside his home.I'm then told they aren't going to fix my AC because I can't prove they caused the damage to it. I also get informed I need to pick up my vehicle then and there. Once in the office the new manager of this establishment felt the need to grab his computer and wave it in front of my face and again tell me he had to risk bringing his computer to work to figure out what was wrong with my car. Then he shows me some website he had to visit in order for other mechanics to help him narrow down the problem with my AC. So essentially he googled my issue.He hands me the documents that states what is wrong with my AC. Tells me to take my car to a different mechanic since I can t prove they caused the issue. Mind you, this is after they had my car on 4 different days. Uber costs and a waste of time later.. I was told by the new manager to go F*** myself.Seriously, save yourself the headache and take your car anywhere else.

While the car is in amazing shape after our emergency visit, the customer service was horrible. My family and I took a little vacation to Chicago from Minnesota and on the way our brakes ground to nothing and the caliper started to lock. We took it in and we re served immediately which was nice but it took forever just to get an estimate, then almost 3 hours for an oil change and fixing the front brakes. Like I said good work, horrible service.Services: Brakes, Oil change

I came in because the low tire pressure light on my car came on. It was late in the evening, and even though they didn t have time to check all my tires, they were able to fill air in all of them, and the light went away. Thanks for taking the time to get me on my way.

Crooks. Told me I needed 4 new tires. Other shop realized that I had a nail in one tire. $300 rather than $1000.
