I called Midas spoke to Jess.I had so many questions and he answered them all very honest and professional. I was able to bring my trunk in the same day & I received great, fast and professional servhce. I came here for an oil change.... if you go you may have to wait bout an hour for service. Overall, workers are nice... Bob is really kind.

I came for quick assistance with removing the screws from my back license plate holder. After unsuccessfully working my tire shop and trying myself, Bob was more that willing to work on it until he was able to remove it. All at no charge.

Amazing staff! I called in for tire issues and they offered me a complementary service to air up my tires when I walked in! As a woman I sometimes feel intimidated going into the shop but they were incredibly friendly! Will come back! You will not be disappointed.

I broke down in Hyde Park and had a hard time finding a mechanic to work on my vehicle everything closer to downtown was booked and/or could not hold my vehicle overnight. I could tell on the phone by Bob's friendly and straightforward customer service that I was in good hands. My car overheated (also heating was not working inside) and I needed the water pump and thermostat replaced. Bob was incredibly accommodating and was understanding that I needed my car back asap to pick up my kids from school the next day. He stayed late to get the job done. Prices were competitive and the car is back up and running. I highly recommend Bob and team. It's worth heading this far south for excellent service.Services: Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance

Bob made my day. I called another place and the man was so rude but when I got to bob he made me and my car feel better. I was there no longer than 20 minutes, I got my oil changed, and also my other fluids were topped off. I highly recommend this location.

My family and I were en route from Ohio to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving and the exhaust pipe came loose on my van and was dragging like crazy. Worried about the long drive still ahead of us, I stopped at this Midas shop, right before they were closing for the day. The service manager Bob got us taken care of short-notice and got us back on the road safely and quickly! Thanks for the friendly and great service, Bob!

The service in this shop is great! The mechanics are skilled and helpful. And the prices were reasonable. Sometimes comparably cheaper in my experience. Wonderful ! Went in because I assumed something was wrong with my axle. Honest machanic found a rock in my tire and he told me that was the cause of the clicking noise that I thought was an ac joint. I was prepared to spend $1000.00 to repair. We then identified a grinding noise that was a worn rotor and brakes. They brought me in the shop and showed me exactly where the problem was. Bob gave me a very good price. Then he gave me a discount on that price. I was really happy. Bob then thanked me for my business after completing a job well done. I will be going back whenever I need car service. Super awesome experience.

Took my Infiniti QX4 here for brakes front and rear. Brake job was not done correctly as the left front wheel began making a grinding sound afterwards. Took my QX4 back to the shop and went on a test drive with one of the technicians to illustrate the issue. Technician confirmed that he heard the grinding sound coming from the front left wheel. Left my QX4 with the shop only for them to call me two days later and claim there was nothing wrong with the front left wheel and that the issue was the rear end. Took the QX4 to another shop who confirmed that the brake job was not done correctly and the grinding sound was due to broken and missing parts from the previous brake job. Never going back to this shop again.

On 09/30 I came to Chicago to run some errands and i ran over two speed humps which made my car leak fluids. My car overheated because i knew i cracked some but i wasn t sure what. So i took it to Midas the next day to get the diagnostic which BOB set up . He call me after they supposedly looked over it and told me you bussed your head gasket you re going to need a new engine i was hurt crying cause that s a new car 2018 i got it at 19k miles it s 75k now I m like oh no plus i finance . So i arrive at Midas and BOB took me to my car look me dead in my face and LIED he gave me a false diagnosis and i feel they didn t properly check my car. He said i didn t crack nothing and he don t know what made the car over heat. I m happy he didn t charge me for the lie (Thanks bob) next time please do the correct work and actually look . I took it to my mechanic and he understood the assignment and replaced my radiator and now my car is back working ! I ll only recommend this ghetto Midas for like oil changes tires or brake some simple .

Can t say I trust them anymore last bit of work done on my car has been quite shabby.Use to have better customer service/support feels more like a money grab now.I have taken my business elsewhere.

The front desk guy is very rude and has no customer service. I came in to change a flat tire into a spare tire. He told me it would be $20 to do so. He did not know where my spare tire was. He told me that he has to charge me extra for finding the spare tire as he was not familiar with how to take it out as in most cars it is easy to do so. I asked him if he wanted me to go somewhere else? At this point I was annoyed as he is complaining, raising his voice and wanted to change the price. He told me yes! They pulled my car out of the bay. I got in my car and pulled out my phone to look up the next closest tire shop. He came to my window and told me that he needs me to leave his driveway. Mind you, it s 7:20 am and nobody was coming in nor out of the drive way. The man is rude and talks to customers in a condescending manner. I refuse to spend my money where I am treated disrespectfully. Good customer service goes a long way. I was not even confident that he would do a good job as he was so irate. Plus he was also trying to sell me another tire. The tires I have are 8 months old.

Tried to charge me triple the cost of parts needed. Priced parts at autozone for $137. They wanted $587 for the same parts. Then was charged $80 for a diagnostic that they did not even do. When I read the contract it clearly stated estimate was negotiable however he was very Adamant on the price. Also did not know what was in contract. Told me 15 percent when contract started 10 percent. They are scammers and highly DO NOT RECOMMEND taking your vehicle here for even the smallest job. Literally paid $200 for the job elsewhere and they wanted $800 for it.

I've used this location over 15 ago and remembered how great the service was. Needed some work done recently and the service was as great as always. I trust them to tell me what I really need and the mechanics do excellent work.

I needed new brakes, they did not lift the car and only looked at the outside. Told me my brakes were fine. Of course they weren't and I ended up having to not only pay for brakes and rotors but it caused my ABS light to go on and another $400 out of pocket.

Bob is racist!!! He wasted my time having me drive my vehicle to the shop for nothing. When I told him he was being unprofessional by interrupting me, raising his voice, and saying you people this and you people that. He told me to get out and now he doesn't work on whatever my vehicle was.

Very recently, after spending over $1200.00.They didn't do a professional job. They should've done it the correct way from the start instead of telling me to come back so they can do a test they should've done at the start for another charge to me.I'm not going back to them ever again!!!!

It's okay for diagnoses...other than that I went in for an alignment with coupon. They showed me a tire and told me I needed all new four tires when I just recently purchased 2 used ones...then the price game began. First it was 700, then 500, then when I told them all I had was 400 the price came down to 350. I couldn't afford neither price. Ended up buying one new tire. The shaking has stopped completely. Tired of being taken advantage of. Cold world.
