I have been taking our 2020 GLC 300 here for service since we bought it and I always have an excellent experience! My most recent visit for Service A was no different. Jacob, my service tech, was friendly and helpful. He walked me through the service recommendations but I never felt any pressure. He was very honest about what was needed versus what was optional. Also love that they provide quick service and the Uber voucher for pick-up and drop-off. It s probably not the cheapest place to have our car serviced, but the quality, expertise and professionalism is worth every penny.

I wanted to give a big thanks to Julissa Mills from the service department. She was an amazing help. She went above and beyond trying to resolve my issues with my newly purchased vehicle. I had purchased a preowned Mercedes GLA 250, only to realize the next day there was an issue with a fog light bulb not working. I immediately contacted Mercedes to let them know of the issue. They scheduled me an appointment at their service center. Only to find out the bulb wasn t the issue and it was actually an electrical issue. And of course they say it s not covered by the warranty. But they had no problem selling me a car that supposedly passed all inspections.In short, Julissa is a service Rep and she tried her hardest to have my issue resolved. Even when the sales team was ignoring my calls and attempts to contact them. She was very helpful and accommodating during the whole event. If it was not for her being understanding I probably would have returned the car since it had only been a less then 2 weeks of purchasing it. My electrical issue has still not been resolved nor have I heard back from anyone from sales.Although my experience wasn t great with sales so far. I wanted to leave a good review for the service team and Mercedes on elston. All the way from the vallet to the service representative Julissa, and even to her manager. They were great.

Had a horrible experience here, my car was driven over 250 miles while with them for a few days of servicing. The service.. spark plugs. I got multiple notifications that my vehicle was speeding over 85mph and was 45 miles from the Chicago service location for an overnight test drive . Whoever was driving my vehicle was driving all over town with multiple stops including a liquor store.. When I asked the manager to address the problem they gave me a run around for weeks and just stopped responding. I will never bring my vehicle here for servicing again.

Called the service center in a panic with a dwindling tire due to having run over a nail in a construction zone. The individual who answered was kind and beyond accommodating. Fortunately, we were able to drive it in and were in and out within an hour. And that included our rep getting the extended coverage claim approved in record time! Cannot thank the team here enough during an otherwise chaotic situation this morning!

No sugar coating! This has to be in the top rank of the worst Mercedes-Benz service shops! Prepare to walk in and be ignored, while they stare at their computer or talk with one another. Definitely do not expect a welcome or greeting or have a seat...we have coffee/water and someone will be with you...don't expect none of that! Labor pricing/hr is fictitious, loaner vehicles are never available, and the wait time is ridiculous. Icing on the cake...I received a notification from Tony that my service was completed and that they were washing it up now (service comes w/ a hand wash and vacuum). Arrive the next day and Melvin has them to bring down my vehicle (no complaints). Vehicle ready out front; yet nobody says anything! I walked to my vehicle only to see that it hasn't been washed. I tell the concierge and they signal for a wash. An hour later...my vehicle was only vacuum and water sprinkled across it. Dust residue was still on my SUV and a water stain that was on there from 2 weeks ago. I took a wet one and wiped it off in less than 1 minute! So disgusted! I basically waited an hour for nothing! Someone really needs to investigate their laboring time frames! Now I still have to go get a wash! I would not recommend this service shop! Save your time and money!

The service center for Mercedes-Benz of Chicago is nothing less then magnificent. Very helpful customer reps. Luxuriously appointed lounge area for the wait. Easy in, easy out. If you are driving by with your Mercedes, they offer complimentary carwashes. Just one more reason to buy from Mercedes-Benz of Chicago. An update. I ran over a nail coming home from work Friday evening. My tire sensor let me know that I had a flat tire. No problem with run flat tires. I called Chicago Mercedes-Benz Service Center that evening. I was able to get in for a quick tire change the next day. Very convenient and helpful. I like to add something on to my review. I had a check engine light on and made an appointment and I was uncomfortable driving my vehicle with the check engine light on. I drove in with no appointment. Spoke to the service rep and they took my car right away to get a quick scan to make sure that I would not damage my vehicle with the light on. Very courteous and exemplary customer service.

Unfortunately this was the most frustrating car service experience I've ever had. This place is sketchy - I would not trust their advice or services they claim are necessary.Our coolant was leaking so we visited the service center. The service associate told us we have to do the "multi point diagnostic" which is an inspection that will check basic components such as coolant hoses, radiators, motor mounts, etc. After the inspection they told us couple issues they discovered was the big one was related to the hose connection in the back of the car. So we approved most of the fixes they recommended and paid $1200. The next day, we went to pick up the car. The car pulls up at the lobby of the MB Service center, and when we turned on the ignition we hear this weird rattling sound coming from the belt/motor mounts. The service associate is also very shocked, and we decided to leave the car to figure out the issue. The next day, they told us that there's another problem with the car and it will cost an additional $2000 to fix. Our car is very old so we wouldn't have paid for the first $1200 if we knew the total was actually going to be $3200. What kind of shady business is this? Why didn't they catch it in the first diagnostic? Should you not have checked the car before you release the car to the customer? Is this some strategy to get their customers to pay for more services? Also, the agents were extremely rude and defensive. They took no responsibility for not catching the second issue late. I've worked with MB @ NYC, DC and they were super nice, professional and even had some things fixed on the house. Chicago Mercedes Benz was completely the opposite.Terrible customer service. No transparency about what services need to be done. They'll keep milking you as much as they can. Highly recommend you go to a different dealer. Heard suburbs are much better; it's just the distance but i'd rather make that trip.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance

This post is for the car wash specifically. This is advertised as a perk of being with Mercedes and is broken or closed more than half the time. I try to get my car washed a couple times a week and sometimes drive 10-15 minutes over only for it to be down like it is today, again, on a Saturday for some unknown reason.

My car was found dripping oil after the service here, and I was told to bring it back during a work day at my own cost. Being a old customer, I drove 150 miles here to try to get a quality work. Nevertheless, the stars only go to the car wash, they did a good job cleaning the interior as well. But I still have to be honest with the service when I filled out the survey afterwards. After that feedback, not only I have not received any follow up, but I started to receive tons of spam calls mainly from 312. Of course, I hope this is not related and my number was not leaked. If it was, I hope you see the message and stop it.

I was way out of my element. LolI drive up in my Kia to a Mercedes dealership! I was picking parts for my brother in laws shop. The place is clean and spotless, and the staff was extremely friendly. I almost wanted to buy a car from them! If I made Mercedes money!

We went to this location to buy c300 and they crushed the car when they are pulling out from the parking lot. After the accident. they were saying this can be covered up, although the new car bumper was scratched and bent. Without any price negotiation, they still want us to pay the full price and said either you wait until the car is fixed or look for another car. So, we decided to not buy a car from them. Not sure how they are going to cover up the damage of the new car, but this car should not be sold as new car. So please be aware of their unprofessional behavior.

As far as service goes, no issues. However, something weird happend here. After my last service check the atomiser in my vehicle dissappear. Shady!

I brought my vehicle in for a misfire. They said they tested coils and plugs, then wanted to do a compression test, which they charged 5 hours labor for, almost $1,500 for the diagnosis fee. They said I needed a new cylinder head due to low compression, $14,000 for the repair. I did not agree with that and took it to another shop. The other shop did a compression test in under an hour, and said the compression is fine. They changed a coil, and the vehicle has been perfect for the past two months. Total cost for compression test and repair was $760 at a local independent repair shop.Mercedes stands by their diagnosis. They said that the valve heads rotate, and there must be a flat spot. They are saying that the valve head will rotate to a bad spot again, and I will have a misfire, but that does not explain how replacing a coil fixed my misfire issue.I will not be returning to this dealer ever again. I asked for my diagnosis fee to be returned as they clearly misdiagnosed the problem and tried to get $14,000 out of me for an issue that doesn't exist. I have been trying to work with them for the past 2 months, but it is extremely difficult for them to return a phone call.Update: It has been a year, and over 14,000 miles added to the vehicle. We still do not have a misfire, as Mercedes, in writing, said we would if we did not replace the head. I email them monthly letting them know current mileage and that we still haven't had a misfire. They did reply 1 time saying they would refund half of my nearly $1,500 diagnosis fee. I told them that half was not acceptable, and they have not responded since.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've owned several different makes of cars over the last 30 years and have always trusted the service to be done at the dealership. I have never been treated all that well until coming to the Chicago Mercedes service center. It's a very nice and comfortable atmosphere with amenities if you have to wait, but it's the people. They all smile and say hello to greet you. Open the door for you. Are available when you call and call you back or text daily with status updates. It also helps to have the loaner vehicle if your car has to be in the shop longer than a day. And they pay for your Uber to get to work/ home too. Other places are not as hospitable. I've even had a guy at a different dealership respond to me, "what?" when Ib walked to to the desk. You would never be greeted that rudely at Mercedes of Chicago. Reinforces my decision to purchase a luxury car.

This is the worst experience I ve ever had, had a 1045 appointment, it s now 12 noon, not one advisor came to say good morning, sat in the waiting room and saw multiple cars gets checked in. I requested for my key and still not one employee ask me have I been helped, and there was about 10 employees standing, they watched me get in the car and drove out without one quest asked. This is the second time I ve had unpleasant visit , the ODB in my maybach was left hanging the last time I visited service with the car not washed , they left my maybach a mess. Will never ever ever visit this service center again in life. As a Mercedes lover this was very disappointing.They don t even deserve 1star.

I recently visited Mercedes-Benz for an intermittent start issue, and I was genuinely impressed by their service.The staff was incredibly helpful, and their communication, using text notifications and calls, was seamless and convenient.To top it off, they provided a comfortable loaner vehicle while my car underwent rigorous testing.

Took my car in to get an alignment (I bought the vehicle a week prior from the same dealership) only to pick it up still having alignment issues and now my steering wheel / column creeks every time I turn. The vehicle is a 2023. Might just be a Mercedes issue, but overall not a good first few weeks owning a Mercedes.

Possibly the worst car service experience I have had twice. We figured the first time was an anomaly. Boy were we wrong. You will be lied to about how much the quote is. No manager is ever available to speak with. They will hold your car hostage and not address the problems. AVOID AT ALL COSTS*Update Kim Camargo who responded to this is who we have emailed multiple times with no response. Still no call back or response of any kind 7 days and counting*

I made an appointment, asked specifically how long the work would take so that I could make arrangements and was told same day, and 2-3 hours. Only to arrive and find out that IF they have the part available they could do it. I voiced that I was under the impression it was available and was told that because I spoke to the call center in California I should have asked more questions . 1., I called what I thought was the Elston location as it was the local number listed and 2., I DID ask the questions. The customer service was subpar, and lackadaisical they clearly communicated to me that they aren t concerned with my time, which matters to most people who have to make arrangements for these types of things.

The shop totally confused me with their scheduling and services. My car had several repairs and many services done here before, therefore, I plan to have the recent emerging issue fixed there. However, my appointment was scheduled and confirmed for a pickup today, to be noted this appointment had been confirmed several times even yesterday by their office. But the driver did not show up and the shop did not return calls or gave any explanation for it. Very disappointed that they stopped valuing their customer s trust and time.

Amazing response I just asked just 15 mns before and I said I need my A9 service done in 90 mns that I have to leave. Guy named Eric put me in the express service and doing what he can do and there I go got my car ready and drives perfect.Thank you Eric for all the great work you doing.

They have a good service team. The facility is nice, clean, and has a decent coffee, and a water service. They provide frequent updates via text message about the state of the car and the required maintenance services. I wish we had cheaper prices, the pricing options are premium.

The service department at this dealership is the best I've ever dealt with. If you have to wait at the service center, there is food/drink/wifi and you can easily work from this location. I came in to have a service A completed and was warmly greeted by staff the second I arrived. Jesus was the advisor who greeted me inside and from the beginning of our interaction, he was so nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, the person who made my reservation neglected to add the requested loaner. This truly inconvenienced and upset me as I had a series of doctor s appointments to get to that day. Jesus took ownership of my issue and apologized vehemently for the error. He got me Uber credit to get me where I needed to go and was very communicative about everything I needed to know. He turned my experience around fully where I know that he will be my trusted Mercedes advisor going forward. Thank you, Jesus. Mercedes should be extremely proud to have that caliber of service coming from their employee and I hope that he receives the acknowledgment he deserves. Customer service does not come naturally to everyone but Jesus is naturally gifted. Celebrate and compensate him as such!

Bad experience. My car was supposed to be ready at 1:30pm but wasn t I had to wait 1 and a half hours more to get my car without the hand car wash I asked to do it because was in my invoice, they took 45 more minutes to finish it. The tire pressure is wrong and my car looks dirty specially the rims. At this point I don t know if they did the service to my car. I ll try another MB dealer for my next maintenance service
