The friendliest staffs and the owners. I am happy with their services since I have been there in 2009. My first car was BMW 3 series 325xi but I currently have a BMW X3. I am continuing to use their services because they will take very good care of your car. I highly recommend this place.

My daughter s VW was dead in her garage and I (her dad) live about 300 miles away. When I contacted M&R about the problem Michael assured me they would analyze the car and we would talk. We talked thru a repair plan and they made the repairs. Michael kept me informed of issues and progress and got her back on the road. I felt that Michael was forthright in our discussions and was treating my daughter as if she was his daughter. Next time I m in Chicago I m going to shake his hand.

Friendly people very thorough in their work. I came to get an estimate for my totaled car they let me know everything i needed cost about $100 something dollars, although i got a free estimate down the street i would recommend this shop for any of your needs.

Brought our 2012 MINI cooper S to M&R and Mateo and Jonathon and the crew figured out how to get her started, fix the AC, and get the suspension back to top notch. Mike and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They will not try to upsell you on unnecessary services. They were able to get my car ready the same day, it doesn't get better than that!

This was my first time taking my car here and was impressed with the service. They solved the problem of my car not starting and were able to diagnose the issue, which turned out to not be a common problem.They kept me informed throughout the process and finished fixing the car in a timely manner.Overall, I would recommend M&R because of their fair prices, skill, and customer service.

Michael Jr and his crew were incredibly amazing! They helped with towing to their location when the first auto center couldn't do the repair. I live out of state and they worked as fast as they could and were very on top of the communication. The work is great and follow up on the work is already scheduled! They are incredibly paitent with their customers and understand the frustrations unexpected issues give their customers and do an amazing job keeping themselves and the customers calm. I will definitely be using them if needed, in the future.Services: Transmission, Car towing

I ve worked with them for several years with a great experience every time. I called to have them inspect my AC unit which they were happy to help me with. After going over that proposal I asked while they had it if they could do an emissions test for my license plate. I didn t realize they would charge me $155 dollars for an emissions test on TOP of the $350 for inspecting the AC. I m more than ok paying for fair labor and fair work. But I know exactly what they did to get my emissions test done and it wasn t worth that.

This is my second time using M&R, and once again they delivered. I had a variety of issues to take care of, including replacing brakes, fixing a headlight and doing some maintenance. The mechanic talked me through everything, proactively provided updates, and presented the costs fairly and without trying to add anything additional. They also met a pretty tight timeline to return my car to me. Excellent work, and excellent service all around.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I took in my 2006 Honda Accord when my front bumper fell off. As long as they had the car, I asked for a thorough check up - engine, brakes, and whatever else they thought needed to be checked. They understood I loved my old car. When they explained what issues needed attention, they were very patient as I tried to decide which repairs were urgent, which could be put off. I appreciated their advice on that. Mike Jr and Jonathan were great to work with - personable, professional, and easy to communicate with. I am glad I trusted them with my old Honda! I am newly back in Chicago after many years away, and took my Mini Copper S to M & R for the first time to attend to a clutch problem. Another company had looked at the car, and I was far from certain that their diagnosis was correct. M & R identified the true problem, and repaired it quickly and efficiently. M & R is not cheap, but they are good. I will be taking my beloved Mini there from now on.

I've used M&R twice now for both of my cars and both experiences have been great. The body work done on my 2020 VW looks great and I'm very pleased. The staff is great at communicating and are all very personable. Mike Jr. even remembered that I had had surgery and asked me how I was doing when I came to pick up my car. They pay attention to detail and are excellent at what they do. This is my third time visiting this shop. Everyone on the Mike Jr. team is very professional and always puts themselves in the customer's shoes. Two weeks ago my driver's window was smashed and I took my car to M&R in an emergency and they took care of my insurance right away and helped me find a rental car with Enterprise. I just got my car back yesterday and my car looks great and very clean inside and out. I would absolutely recommend them to my friends.Service: Auto glass replacement

They are very good at what they do. They make sure to find the problem and educate you about what was wrong. As well as what other problems it could have caused later. You can tell that they put everything into what they do to make sure it's done right.

This is the repair shop I trust most in Chicago to repair my 2009 Audi A4. I needed a headlight replacement and they were able to provide quotes on both OEM and aftermarket lights, rather than just suggesting the more expensive option. I took my car in before work and was able to grab it the same day on the way home from work. I will continue to use this repair shop to service my car. Thanks, Matt

Have come to M&R a few times, first was to get a second opinion about a recommended service I received from another place. They pulled up their directory that lists when specific cars need to complete specific services and my car wasn't due for that service for at least another 40k miles. Brought it back recently for new brakes and M&R was thorough and timely with the process. Included pictures with their recommendations.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

Overall I was pleased with my service, though their prices are a bit high and their communciation is poor. It took an additional day because they received the incorrect part and I didn't find that out until I called at the end of the day. They promised it would be ready by 3pm the next day and when I called at 1:30pm to confirm I was told it wasn't going to be ready until 5 or 5:30. They did manage to finish on time when I explained that I needed my car by the previously promised time. Had they contacted me earlier to tell me there was going to be a delay, I might have been able to figure something out, but with that short of notice, I couldn't.Services: Auto side window replacement, General repairs & maintenance
