Love love love this place! I had a flat this morning and no other place would take me and they gladly took me. I really needed to get to work and thanks to this place it was possible! The staff was so kind and took care of me. I would 1000000% come back to this place for any car needs. Thank you to the young man that helped me today.

We have been coming to this auto shop since he was in Roger's park. The work is amazing. They do amazing work for a great price. If you need anything for your car they can do it. Years of experience and have fixed my jeep cherokee many times. Now they moved farther from us but we still come because we found such a great mechanic we can't lose him.

If you want a great mechanic experience, these are your guys. I ve been coming here for about 3 years and I ve always felt super safe and welcome at this shop. The owner and his son are so good at showing you what you need and do not need to get done! Each time I ve gone they ve always told me we won t charge you for unnecessary things. And they don t! It s a very familiar feeling coming here, like a dad, brother or uncle taking care of your car for you. Super sad that they will be leaving the neighborhood but I will definitely be following them wherever they go! And you should too!

I am extremely grateful for them! I went to a different place when my engine was making a weird noise and they said nothing was wrong but I knew that couldn t be true. Went to Lunt s and they realized immediately it was an issue with my car burning oil that my sensor didn t alert me to. A super easy fix that truly saved me since running out of oil is a definite death sentence. Very kind and they remember their customers.

Lunt Auto has been my go-to mechanic since I moved to Rogers Park three years ago. They have always worked to find and fix the problems that come up with my 2004 Honda Civic, offering fare prices and clear explanations of what is going on. They don't try to "upsell" unnecessary services, and always let me know if they've discovered something unexpected. I am so angry and sad that they are being forced to move to Portage Park! I'll probably still keep going to them for the big stuff, but being able to drop my car off and walk home has been so wonderful.

Don't think about it, call and make an appointment for your car. The owner is honest, professional, and very knowledgeable. Took my car yesterday and got it back yesterday... My new car Dr for life, I'm really happy with the quality service and reasonable cost.

I came in thinking that I needed to replace two of my tires and possibly for other services since I'm going on a long roadtrip. The man who checked my car was straight up with me and told me to save my money because my tires still have thread in them and my car does not need any services. He even filled my wiper fluid reservoir while I was there. I'm so appreciative that they did not try to take advantage of the fact that I don't know much about cars like the people at the dealership did. They definitely have my business going forward.

Great family business. Friendly service with honest pricing and quality work. They recently moved from Rogers Park and we followed along because we are loyal customers. Best mechanics in Chicago!!

Today I caught a flat and I brought my car in to Nikko, super nice, knowledgeable & funny guy! He helped me even in the rain and also checked all of my tires just to discover thatanother one was also about to have a blowout! He gave me two new used tires at a great price. 10/10 would definitely recommend! I won t be going to any other tire shop.Service: Tires

I decided to try Lunt based on their already fantastic reviews, and those high marks are clearly well deserved. I am so very pleased with my experience here. So very pleased. These folks are kind, courteous, and prompt. More than courteous, I found them extremely friendly and helpful. Brought my car in first thing and they replaced my battery, gave an oil change and patched my tire at an extremely reasonable price. They even threw in the patch when I added the oil change.What I most appreciated was the consideration and respect they showed me.These folks are not only good at what they do, they clearly love what they do and care about their customers. I highly recommend them and will definitely be returning for routine maintenance. A+ GUYS! thanks sp much :)

Awesome people to work with took my 2010 Nissan Rogue with a engine light on and grinding noise coming from the front end they change the brake pads and tell me the rotors are still on good condition . honest people . I'm going to keep coming to this shop thanks Nico Jr and Sr

Very friendly, professional, and affordable. I brought my car in to have the coolant replaced but he also ran diagnostics on my check engine light, which I had been told previously by another mechanic would be a potentially expensive fix. Nico found it wasn't a serious issue and told me to bring it back in if the lights comes on again, potentially saving me an expensive and unnecessary repair.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

INCORRECT diagnosis on my car by Niko's son. I paid for a part and labor on a repair that wasn't the problem. Niko DIDN'T own up to their mistake. Only received a $60 refund after I paid $131 for labor and I'm also out of $125 on the part I purchased. Niko looses his cool with you if you want to dispute a repair or cost. Save yourself any problems with these INCOMPETENT people by going elsewhere!! They should change the name of the business from Lunt Auto & Tire to CROOKS R US!! Regarding your reply: You mean a step by step rip off! If you can t handle the truth you need to get out of the business. Also, people reading your response to my comment shows your incompetence. Any negative review you see about your business you always take it personally by your response. That shows YOUR character flaws.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This shop is the best, I can t tell you how happy I and my bank account are that I found these great guys. This shop is fair, honest, and quick to action, a perfect recipe for a piece of mind. My alternator was going and I dropped my car off at 11:00am on a Saturday, I had my car back by 3:00pm that same day, which was a life saver. horrible service. the son is nice but the owner is awful. I called about my cars oil change and he yelled at me about accusing him of stealing sounds like he definitely is stealing from his customers. worth it to spend your l somewhere else.

He was so easy to work with. I went in because I thought I needed a new tire but it turns out my tire was fine but the seal was bad! He fixed it and I no longer have a tire pressure issue. He didn't just take my money and give me something that was not needed. He's honest and willing to help. Great place!Service: TiresService: Tires

Called and asked if they could install brake parts I purchased online during the holidays to save some money versus going to the dealer, the business said they do and said they have a free bay today so I went and they installed front and back brakes and rotors for my vehicle. They installed it in about an hour and the price was reasonable. Owner was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I'm going to this place for all my other car needs in the future. I cannot speak highly enough of this mechanic and his shop. We have Chinese here several times, mostly to get my wife's tires patched because they were leaving air and he was able to see us without an appointment, no problem. Nikko had been up front and honest and had bent over backwards for us. He is currently in the process of getting new tires for my wife's car and had been in constant contact about the tracking of the tires and up front about the prices. He also told us the out the door prices with all fees and taxes included and it is beyond fair. He has earned two life long customers. You should make him your go to mechanic too.

I love these guy! First time going here. I dealt with the whole family. Everyone was great. Did my very bad brakes for much less than anyone else. Plus found a important loose bolt that Firestone left loose. I found my neighborhood auto shop. And am bringing my other car for a brake job this week. Thank you guys!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I've never left a review for anything before, but Nikko deserves well more than five stars. I came in with a nail in one of my tire sidewalls, and the rest of the tires badly needed replacements as well. He was busy that day, but he still had my car ready to go that afternoon. He also put in a new tire pressure sensor for no charge. Nikko's prices are also extremely fair and he honestly explains them if you have any questions. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend Lunt Auto & Tire to anyone with a car.

It's hard to find a good and honest mechanic nowadays. I went to the nissan dealership to fix my car and they wanted to charge me $1300. I went straight to Lunt Auto and Tire to get a different opinion. Nikko was amazing! He looked at my car and was able to fix it for less than half the price Nissan was charging me. He was honest and provided quality work for a reasonable price. He is now my go to mechanic!
