Three reasons why I really like bringing my cars to Florin:1.) He is competitive with the dealership on both labor and parts. His total prices are about 20%-25% lower in my experience. And he is willing to help figure out ways to save his customers money. My car has a bent wheel. It has 60K miles, and we plan to sell it in a year. Florin was more than happy to spend some extra time to see if he could find a * used * replacement. That would not happen at a dealership.2.) Florin diagnoses issues without charging a diagnostic fee. And then he comes up with a cost-reasonable fix. Today, I dropped off my A3 and noted a constant humming noise, which has really been bothering me. The root cause had been misdiagnosed elsewhere. Florin thought it might be a bad bearing, but he confirmed that by taking a test drive. I like seeing car problems for myself and said I would be right over, just to check it out. Florin put the wheel back on, raised the car on the lift, gave it some gas, and showed me the problem. That's service.3.) Florin does not recommend work that does not need to be done. I recently had a free multi-point check at the dealership, which noted a small amount of oil seeping from the engine. It would have cost $2500 to fix, for a car with 60K miles. Florin looked into it. Yes, there was some seepage, but it was not a major issue, it certainly was not a safety problem, and he recommended not fixing it. Gotta love a trusted repair shop that does not try to sell unnecessary work.We have been bringing our Audi A3 and, previously, our Range Rover Sport to Florin for years. I strongly recommend Florin and his shop.

I can't say enough about Florian and Lincoln Park imports. Florian and his team are incredibly honest, priced wonderfully, and just the best human beings. They take care of me and my car, and I always feel good leaving. I made the mistake of taking my car somewhere else when I recently failed an emissions test. All I was doing was getting a quote, but the car ran poorly when I picked the car up from getting the quote. Turns out they cut a hose. It's hard to find really good and honest car mechanics these days. Florian and team are the best.

Florin is the man. I ve been bringing my Volkswagen here for nearly three years and have never been let down. Fair pricing, prompt service, and excellent communication. Highly recommend for any European automotive service needs.

I've been getting my out of warranty cars fixed at Lincoln Park Auto service for over 10 years now. Florin is honest, very knowledgeable, and very fair with pricing. He remembers the details of my vehicles and has even told me when it was time to sell a car instead of getting it fixed with him. I cannot recommend him enough

After my 50k check up at the Audi dealership, my SUV started experiencing issues with the cruise control and exhaust.I took my car in to Lincoln Import Service and Florin was able to diagnose and fix the issue within the day!He also helped resolve an issue of excess water within the interior of the frame of the car, which had not been identified by the Audi dealership.Highly recommend Lincoln Park Import Service for their customer service and going the extra mile to help out their customers.

First time I brought my MB C300 to this place and I m very happy I did. This guy Florin is phenomenal. He knows his job and very professional. If I had taken it to a MB dealer, it would cost me a fortune for the same job Lincoln Park Import Service did to my car. Very highly recommendable as what my friend recommended them to me. Very detailed to what will they do your car before servicing it.....scale 1-10... I ll give them BIG 10....

Just purchased a new car and wanted to get it inspected, heard from a friend that this location does great work! Florin helped me out, he made sure all the mechanical aspects of the engine were in tip top shape, fixed a hole in my tire from a nail, and topped off the fluids. Excellent service without the high cost. Florin is great. It is extremely difficult to find a friendly, trustworthy, and skilled mechanic. Florin is easily all of those. He charged me about a quarter of what the dealer would have charged. Furthermore, he informed me that many of the actions that the dealer recommended were unnecessary and just up-selling (no secret that dealers engage in such practices regularly).Mercedes-Benz also is notoriously difficult about having their oil changed, sometimes stating that oil changes must be done at dealers only. This simply isn't true. Florin was able to do it quickly and easily. Highly recommend!

Florian provided excellent service to me! He is friendly, direct, skilled, on-time, and doesn't up-sell. The prices are fair and I'm happy that his shop is my neighborhood. I don't plan to return to a dealership for service again!

This is the best place to bring your car in Chicago! Always honest and go above and beyond in servicing our vehicles. We have a Volvo and an Audi and it s far less expensive than the dealerships. Wow, Florian gives outstanding service! He was all booked but fit me in anyhow so my car was ready to see my parents in Wisconsin for the holidays. I have been going to Lincoln Import for years and I would not trust my car (BMW)to anyone else. Do not hesitate to take your car here. You are in good hands!!! I can t say enough about Florian! Excellent service. Audi dealership broke something while "fixing it" and charged me over US $2k. Brought my 2010 S5 to LPIS and they inspected it, tightened the hose to intake manifold, and an electrical connection (don't remember specifics) but basically they fixed the dealerships mistake and didn't charge me anything (I tried to insist, but he insisted over me!).Highly recommend!I am always bringing my car here from now on!Thank you Lincoln Part Import Service! Had a great experience with Lincoln Park Import Service. I had an issue with my car and called same day to see if I could bring it in. My car was looked at and quickly fixed. The team was even able to fix a couple of other minor things that had been bothering me, but I hadn't gotten to (a loose bolt on a door and a cosmetic issue on my seatbelt.) With the quick and quality service I received, I will definitely be back for future needs!

No other place in Chicago I would bring my car or SUV. Florin is the best in the business. NEVER over charges. Extremely flexible with his schedule. And his turnaround time is amazing. Gives you advice on what you should do or think about (as in moving on and selling the car rather than continuing to pour money into it) rather try to take you for more money or upsell you. Their work is also top notch and I've never had the same issue twice after taking my automobile to Lincoln Park Import Service. I will be a customer for life.

Florin is very forthright and tells it like it is. I have only had breaks done on a Range Rover Sport here, but so far so good. Definitely will continue to be a regular customer. I used to be a customer at Nortown Auto for 14 yrs before switching to LP Import.

I drive a 2001 Lexus, so obviously don't put a lot of money into my vehicle. It needed some serious work and I was considering finally putting it to rest and buying something new. Took it to Lincoln Park Import Service for a second opinion. They found a couple inexpensive fixes and put together an estimate that was less than half the price of the dealership. Work was completed on time. I'm good for another year at least and the final cost came in $150 less than estimated.

I d give this place a 6 out of 5 if I could. Every time I leave Lincoln Park Import Service, my 06 TDI Jetta drives like it s brand new. I ve never had a bad experience and it s always very fairly priced. If you own an import and you live in the Chicagoland area, I would highly recommend taking it here. Florin and his team do a phenomenal job, are extremely professional, and are great people. If you haven t already, I d check this place out.

Florian is awesome. He is fast, fair, explains things. I've taken both my prius and my 3 series in there and they've been out the door running perfectly in <1 day.If you're nervous about finding a good mechanic, this is where you should go.

I found these guys a couple of years ago when looking for a Subaru service center. They replaced the rack & pinion steering system and did a transmission swap on my 02' Forester with no problems and in a timely manner.My most recent service appointment (8/16/12) was for both front CV axle replacement on my 07' Outback Sedan. Again no issues and they had me on the road the same day!They are professional and very knowledgeable and I use them for everything from oil changes to major repairs.

This place is exactly what I was looking for. Very reasonably priced, honest and quick turnaround. I have a 2011 Q5 and the dealership service prices have been getting ridiculous. Service performed on rear breaks, headlight replacement and AC blower replacement. This is my new go-to!

Florin & his team have always provided exceptional service and great value. They've had to fix issues caused by other service shops and have saved the day more than once by finding issues and related (affordable) solutions. These guys are the best!

I've been going here for about 10 years. E46 325i and my 2005 M3. These guys are honest experts and they do a great job at a fair price. I agree with the other reviews that they are a much better value compared to dealerships
