I just got my oil changed here and work done on my rear brakes. The owner was so helpful, he showed me my car while it was on the lift so I could see under it and showed me the brakes that needed work. He was knowledgeable, communicated clearly, and was not annoyed with any of my questions.If you are a young woman like me I would recommend coming here. The other staff members I interacted with were courteous and professional as well. This will be my go to auto shop and I will certainly be back in the future!

I highly recommend Lincoln Park Auto to anyone in the Chicago area. I brought my car in due to a broken headlight and the owner identified another issue that could have been severe. He was able to identify and fix the issue within 24 hours. I will definitely take my car here for future repairs!

You can't go wrong with bringing your vehicle to John and his team at Lincoln Park Auto Repair. The attention to detail, professionalism, and customer support truly sets them apart and is beyond worth it for peace of mind and confidence in their work!I have been a customer of John's for years now and one of the things I like the best is that he takes the time to thoroughly explain what is going on with the vehicle and will literally show you what issues and concerns there are, and will somehow answer all of your questions without belittling your concerns or making you feel stupid.Along with John's expert mechanical experience, the rest of the team is kind and makes you feel like a valued customer from the first time you walk in. This is especially important to me as a woman, because often our concerns get overlooked in settings like an auto shop. Safe to say, they treat everyone equally here.John and his team have earned my trust and loyalty. If you are in need of a reliable, honest, and highly skilled shop, this is the place for you :)

I ve been to Lincoln Park Auto Repair Service a few times now and will always go back. They re a true small business with great communication and a solid team. Their prices are equivalent to anywhere else or better. Highly recommend.

This shop has met every expectation and my experience with them has been great! Im needing to have work done on my transmission and I feel realy comfortable with this shop and more specifically my mechanic, John. I would recommend this shop, they are professional and nice to work with.

I haven't yet had our vehicle serviced here but I will tell you that I just called the shop for the first time because we have an issue going on with our Jeep. I had a great conversation with Marko, who was very personable and welcoming, and now I am encouraged to bring our car over for service. Appreciate the customer service already!

No complaints. I had a hard time finding a reliable mechanic in Chicago, and was very impressed with LPARS. I had a complicated issue that multiple other mechanics couldn't figure out, and they were able to do the repairs without overcharging me. Very friendly and prompt service, plus they're easy to reach over the phone. Will continue to take my car here for as long as I'm in Chicago.

I don t often leave reviews, but John and his team at Lincoln Park Auto are the most honest, trustworthy, and fairly priced mechanics I have ever worked with. Beyond being fairly priced John takes the time to educate his customers on the specifics of what is going wrong, provides a range of potential solutions at different price points, and helps you weigh the pros and cons of each scenario. I am absolutely thrilled with Lincoln Park Auto Repair Service! If it were possible, I'd give them 10 stars. Let me tell you why this experience was outstanding.Today, my check engine light turned on, and my dealer couldn't fit me in for a whole week. As a realtor, I couldn't afford to wait that long, so I searched on Google and found this gem. I called them, and John, the owner, told me to come in right away. Within 5-10 minutes of arriving, he was already evaluating my car. Not only did he identify the issue (engine seal & spark plugs), but he also took the time to explain everything to me in a way I could easily understand. I was truly impressed by his knowledge and dedication. John and his team promptly fixed the problem, and he even invited me to stop by next week for a follow-up check, which I found incredibly thoughtful.Their level of honesty, transparency, and friendliness was beyond my expectations. Great place and people to work with. They care about their work, quite reasonable fees, and also pointed out shotty work done at the VW dealership. They advocated on my behalf to have the dealership correct their work because of the hack job they performed. Saved me $ and most importantly, I trust the folks there.

I went to Lincoln Park Auto Repair after an accident where my car needed several replacement pieces. John and the rest of the mechanics at LP auto repair were kind and helpful. John took the time to show me under my car and made sure I understood what I needed. As a female, I really appreciated the staff at LP auto repair not making me feel silly/taken advantage of for not being super knowledgeable about my car. "I recently had some major repairs done on my car at Lincoln Park Auto Repair, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. They replaced my car's thermostat and water pump, as well as my valve cover gasket, and the results were fantastic. The service men seemed to be very genuine. They gave me their full attention, seemed to be very truthful about the work required and the price for the work they did on my car was great. The guy even asked me to come in again for free to check if the car is doing great after the repairs. Ask for John over there!

Truly incredible service and everyone that works there was so kind and communicative. I went in because I had an issue with my engine stalling and my car running louder than usual but there was no check engine light on. We had used another repair service for 25 years in Lakeview that closed when the owner passed. We were lucky to find Lincoln Park Auto Repair. We are very satisfied with service and price. Perhaps more importantly is how they treated me with a 20 year old Camry. With lots of luxury cars in the shop, they could focus on larger repair costs. But they patiently found the right parts to fix an old car at a good price. We will be back for future work.

The guys at Lincoln Park Auto Repair are true professionals. We've brought our car there several times and couldn't ask for better service. They are honest and do what they say they're going to do, and don't try to sell you any services that the car doesn't need. Our experience with them has been better than any other auto repair shop we've been to in Chicago, including the dealerships. I like this place. They work quickly and they explain everything. Their prices are ok for the city. They charge quite a bit for service but it's really high quality service. They're an honest company owned by a guy who works there sometimes. He gave me a free oil change when I asked as well. Only downside is this place is kinda small and right below the trains so it's always loud.
