Brought my Honda accord here to get fixed. The issue was that the water pump needed to be replaced. They had the car for about a day. When I came to pick up my car, the person at the front desk apologized for the long wait & that it was busy. I had no problem with that! I think the prices are reasonable as well. I will be coming back.

This place is horrible. The gentleman told me I could park my car in front of the shop and then I got my car towed the next morning. This place is horrible. You tell your customers one thing but then the outcome is different. You guys should have reimbursed me for my $175. If your worker there would have been more truthful I would not have parked my car there overnight was this doesn t make to do that, you guys need to have better communication skills and stop lying to your customers

Jalisco is best of the best in Hammond!!! . They performed quality work and reasonable price. Thank you Gil, Rigo, Jose and Carlo for taking good care of us. Highly recommended!!

Been to this shop 3 times and they just seem to not be trust worthy. I asked him to do a specific thing to my car and I came with part in hand . He did it and then stated I didn t need it! Whaaat?! I said why did you do it then? He said, because you told me to. As a professional, it s then your responsibility to say, even though you think you need that done, you really don t! Then further explain, i can do it , but you will be wasting your money because it s not needed. Period! Then I can make an informed decision to proceed with the work or not. He charged me for something after the fact I didn t need. This ruins his business reputation! Imagine I go to a doctor and asked him to do something he know I don t need! He proceeds to do it anyway, instead of clearly explaining I can t do that because I could lose my license and your health could be affected adversely etc. Very money hungry and unprofessional! So disappointed!

Greatest mechanic on the Southside. Romeo keeps all of my cars going and always tells me the truth about repairs.Still doing great work , just needs to clone himself to help everyone.I still take my cars to my man and he never disappoints!

I took my lady s Camaro there to have work done on the A/C. The owner told me that another employee took parts off to see what the problem was and I was told that to fix it he would have to take off the entire dash which would be 12 hours of labor for $1100. I told him I would come pick it up. I took it for a second opinion and was told I m missing parts. I go back to Romero at Jalisco and he told me sorry I forgot. Then lied and told me he called me to let me know his employee forgot to put it on. Incompetence and totally unprofessional. So I would ve had to buy another part that he didn t put back and his attitude was so what you want me to do? Won t go back and not recommending Jalisco to anyone.Service: Air conditioning

The most honest and cheapest mechanic I have been to, will always come here. All the bad reviews are from people who have expensive cars , tbh if your driving a car that expensive and don t have the money to fix it you shouldn t be driving it.There s even a guy here who asked how much to fill a tire with air. Why the heck are you trying to pay someone to put air in your tires when you can do it for free, and then give a bad review because it s cost 5 bucks. Come on bro.

My car broke on the way to work. They were able to look at my BMW right away, diagnosed the problem very quickly, and had it fixed by the end of the day. Would recommend.

Rip-off artists. Had my daughter's Audi A4 for 2 days, never ran a diagnostic to see why the EPC light was on. Told me that repairs would start around $1800. When I asked where they got that number from, he said that "there's a lot wrong with the car, it has 250k miles on . I told him that the engine might have 30k miles on it since it was rebuild in 2019 and that I was sending a tow truck to get it since they hadn't diagnosed it but was trying to quote a price. He then told me it would cost me $100 for storage - $50/day. Beware of this place. If you diagnosed the car and charge $120 for a diagnostic test, bill for the diagnostic and show me the written estimate based off of what was found. Don't lie and then bill for a bogus charge and give a bogus estimate.

Romeo made a difficult process bearable for me. The price that he quotes is the price that he sticks with and you can tell he takes pride in his work. An honest auto mechanic is very hard to find, and I have found one. He searched for the best option on a transmission issue I was having, and kept me in the loop all the way through.Romeo even advised me to come back in a few weeks so he could put the car up and make sure everything is working the way it should.To wrap up, he is an honest, knowledgeable, mechanic who takes deep pride in his work.I recommend him highly and will be returning for any future issues that arise.Anthony

I just visited this auto shop & I had an excellent experience. I'm replacing my heater core on my 99' cherokee classic, & I needed to have a professional evacuate my A/C system of freon before I could start replacing the heating core. The job got done fast & efficiently. The service was great, & the price was good. The gentleman was very helpful in advising me of which parts he recommend I replace along with my heater core, & I'll be following his advice on replacing my radiator & thermostat as well. I recommend Jalisco Auto Repair

Jalisco Auto Repair was effective, and he did an outstanding job. I needed a transmission for my foreign car. Romeo has my car running like brand new. I and my family are grateful. He didn't stop until he was shipped a quality transmission. God bless him and his business always.

I began going to Jalisco in the summer of 2019. From the moment I met Romeo he has been very honest regarding the service I required. Since the summer I have returned to Jalisco and Romeo for whatever work was needed on my vehicles. Romeo is very knowledgeable and fair with his services and prices. It is rare to find a auto expert you can trust, but I trust my vehicles with Romeo.

I have been going here for over 7 year's now, the man is outstanding. Whenever I take any if my car's in he always tries to explain the work and price and I always tell him if you say I need it I trust you. I once had my son's car towed to him because it stopped, called the next day to ask what the damage (price) was going to be, he told me $15.00 the gas gauge had went out and the car was out of gas amd he put $15 in. Now he could have told me anything and charged me up the butt. But he was honest and that's what I am going to miss when I relocate out of state! A dam good mechanic

I called spur of the moment & spoke to Romeo about a minor issue that was a major pain for me. A couple of claps were missing under my car & causing a flap to hang & drag a bit. Romeo was kind enough to look & replace quickly.Many thanks for the speedy assistance.

My truck starting shaking from one side in the rear right side. Some mechanic said it was the differential and wanted a lot of money. My dad referred me to Romeo, I went, he checked my truck and said it was only a joint that broke. He fixed it. Very reasonable price, very honest and my truck is running very smooth.

This place is a joke. I used their services few years ago, and later realized that I was overcharged for an issue that did not even require the repair that I paid for. Most recently, out of desperation, I called them today, Saturday, February 3rd to ask how much they would charge to put air in my tire...the reply was, "Just to put air in the tire, we charge $5.00." I hung up before this stick-up man could say anything else. The Citgo a few blocks away has an air machine and for less than five bucks I'm sure.

My family has been taking our cars there for more than a year they have fast service, reasonable prices, and never back for the same problem!! Car has been running so good and he s the only one to trust for honesty in what s wrong with the car!!!
