As a former New Yorker, I never had to drive let alone own a car. However, moving to Chicago in 2019, I found myself in need of a reliable mechanic, and fate led me to Sargon's auto shop conveniently located just across from the DMV. For 4 solid years now, Sargon has been an absolute lifesaver!Ladies, if you're looking for a trustworthy place to bring your car, this is it. Sargon and his team is the best in the Chicagoland area. They treat everyone with respect, especially those of us who may not be well-versed in car issues. Even during their busiest days, Sargon is a professional who takes the time to listen and understand your car troubles.Their pricing is reasonable, and their attention to detail is impressive. I am extremely fortunate to have found a mechanic who is hardworking, knowledgeable, and reliable. His customer service skills are top notch & let's not forget, Sargon's eyes are truly a sight to behold .

I really appreciate the mechanics at Hi Tech Auto, esp Mr Sargon expertise, honesty and above all just a wonderful ( and handsome:)) guy. I just had my timing belt done by Mr. Sargon, and I am very happy with the outcome. Mr. Sargon went above and beyond to get my car fixed and restored all of its functions. WARNING!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! ITS A SCAAAMMMMMMM!! SARGON IS A SCAM!!! i took my car in for a antifreeze leak, he told me its my oil filter housing and "it's so common". So I brought my car on Thursday he told me expect my car by Monday. To my surprise my car was finished the next day about noon. I come in and he makes you feel all good because he said he saved me $200 because "he got the part cheaper" well then 2 days later the engine light goes on and I go back and he says its my Knox sensor, which he says is common after replacing the oil filter housing, (not common at all). So I believe, but I'm not rich and need to save up. But it's too expensive so my husband takes my engine apart to change the Knox sensors himself and come to find out all this man, SARGON, the owner, never changed the oil filter housing, guess that's how he got the part "cheaper", but just clamped a hose and charged me $800. Oh ya and he unplugged my Knox sensor!!!! If my husband could not work on my car I would have never known. THIS MECHANIC IS A SCAMMMMMMMM. DO NOT TRUST HIM!!!!! See attached pics of the original jeep part, still in my car, and the the receipt for the part he charged me for and never installed!!!Service: Auto maintenance

I brought my car in convinced I needed the compressor for my air conditioning replaced. I got estimates from a few places. I went to HighTech bcuz A friend recommended it. Not only did they give me the lowest of 4 estimates, but in the end, it wasnt my compressor and it was $1000 less than what I thought it would be. They could have easily taken advantage of me and charged me for a compressor. I wouldn't have known. They were honest and that means a LOT. They are upstanding guys with reasonable prices. They will be my main mechanic from now on!!!!. I'm very happy

I've taken cars here for nearly 20 years. My son was a toddler when I first took my car to High Tech. When he got his license and his first accident (minor, thank goodness), Sargon at High Tech made sure his car was taken care of and that he would be safe on the road. At first Sargon and Younan were the guys down the block who fixed our cars, they became friends, now I consider them family. I wish I could say that I get some kind of unique special treatment. I do get special treatment - concern for more than just the car, fairness, outstanding low service rates. But in truth, I've watched them serve brand new customers and take care of them just as well. This is a model business run by gentlemen who care about a lot more than just your car. I did read one review here where the reviewer thought unnecessary work was done to add to the charges. I doubt that's accurate largely because I've had the opposite experience countless times - if there was a part of the repair that I hadn't been aware would be necessary, I was still charged what I'd originally expected. Not long ago, I had to get a dealer repair. My son was dismayed and chastised me, "you didn't take it to Sargon?" Then he shook his head in disappointment...

A great shop with great mechanics. Younan and Sargon run a very respectable and professional shop. They have been my mechanics for 10+ years and i have never run into a problem with the work they have performed on all of my families vehicles. Their prices are very reasonable and the work it exceptional.

Been to a lot of mechanics and they have always been the best. I recommend them to my own family as well as all my friends. Always great work, honest and reliable. Highly recommended if your looking for a fair priced dependable mechanic.

Took my car here a 3 separate times. Two of the three times I brought it in, I had to take it back because the problem was not fixed. Most recently took it back and still not fixed so after paying him to fix, now I have to take it somewhere else and pay more money. Should not take three trips to a mechanic to fix check engine light from bad sensors. When asked for a receipt so I can confirm work I paid for, they cant/wont produce a receipt for my records. That's suss... I dont recommend this mechanic.

After my car would not start and my husband had ran diagnostic s and fixed what he could, we knew it was time to tow the car to a mechanic. I came across a thread on the Next Door App with suggestions for a mechanic and came across Hi-Tech who was suggested my multiple people! I did my own research, looked up reviews which were fantastic and they weren t wrong!! We had the best experience with Sargon who was friendly, patient and professional. We were initially in need of a new (used) engine but Sargon committed to finding a different solution, fixed the problem and saved us thousands of dollars. Hi-Tech is the best. I stopped in here randomly with a used car, requesting a mechanical inspection and opinion, before closing the deal and driving home (out of state).Sargon was friendly, professional, and promptly looked at my vehicle, gave me a fair quote for repair work, and to my surprise offered to get it done within the hour! I agreed, and the work was completed satisfactorily.I've owned a lot of cars and visited many mechanics over the years, and HighTech Auto was one of the best experiences I've had in 20+ years--highly recommended! If I were local, this would be my go-to shop.

Had a great referral from my tire store of 20+ years up the street - Ras tires. Sargon is a genuinely honest person whom is looking to help with your auto needs and give a fair price point. Recently had work done on Range Rover engine week ago and couldn't be happier with the work that was done. I've found a great mechanic and will continue to use in future!

I love it. This shop is amazing. Decent quality and prices. I took my BMW there for change tires (twice) , since I have front different from rear (295/315) not too many shops owns machine for that size, but if they do they very expensive (dealers) People are friendly thwre and great owner.

My family was driving across country and our van's check engine light came on. High tech was very kind and friendly and able to take us in right away to check our issue and fix it very quickly. Price was incredibly reasonable too. We were on the road to finish our day of traveling.Thank you so much, High tech! Highly recommend this business!

I've used this shop several times. My daily driver, a 94 ES300, got beat up at body shop by and Sargon at Hi-Tech took care of everything. Services I had completed at Hi-Tech: rear quick struts, front half shafts [both sides], ABS diagnostic, exhaust manifold and just recently the original transmission went out [after 244k] and Hi-Tech handled the job. It's difficult to find a shop to trust as I have been shafted before, so Hi-Tech will continue to get my business. Good prices, friendly people and good hours. I recommend you check them out.

I have been coming here for almost 20 years I think. They keep my cars rolling (last one is past 215k miles) at great prices. They are fast and thorough, honest and don't do needless work. Over the years they have been like family, getting me out of jams and providing advice. The Tamo brothers have become a cornerstone of our neighborhood and are much appreciated.

Sargon is a master in his craft! I've sent anyone who's asked me who is the best! I don't want to leave out his brother either because those two together are a force to be reconned with!! They have not only mastered the art of foreign vehicles and won't stop until they have figured out the problems and fixed them, they also don't EVER try and get over on someone by gouging prices on certain individuals. If you want your vehicle/vehicles serviced with unparalleled expertise along with honesty and up front costs, then go to HighTech Auto Service.....

Went there today for the first time. I met Younan, he took care of my car. He was so kind, patient and answered all my questions. You would be surprised with their honesty and how quick they get the job done. He saved me $400, also refused to get paid for an extra work he did on my car. There are more that one reason why this place has a high 5 starts on google. I Highly recommend it. Thank you

This place has come a long way. I've been coming here for almost 20 years! Now I hear about the people and friends I've recommended still going after so many years.It's also pretty cool when they have Ferraris, porches and other high end cars that they work on. That will always tell you that this place is LEGIT!As far as the negative stuff on here I'll honestly tell you that if you EVER have a problem with their work you can always go to them to solve any issues at hand but don't take their kindness for weakness as they don't give away free labor or parts just because you're having a bad day! Keep up the good work guys!

Great mechanic, called them up at 12 as we were driving through the area but needed brakes and they got it all done by 3! It was relatively cheap too. The owner is super friendly!

Yonan and his team are the best. You don't get much better quality and service than from these guys. But the main point is how hard it is to find an honest mechanic. Well these guys are 100% honest and never try to RIP you off. There's countless times Yonan would call and say "there's nothing wrong with your car" or things to that extent. Never going anywhere else again.
