First rate service. Mr. Zaheer is fair and reasonable, with his teasing comical remarks to Elijah who is another great feller I met here, make the experience great while you are at the garage. They explain everything candidly and comprehensively only to your advantage. Amazing service I would say. Elijah knows a lot, and all of them great guys there.

Stopped in with a nail in my tire that was slowly deflating the tire and it was removed, plugged, and topped off with air all in 20 minutes. The service was friendly and prompt and I would certainly return! I called first to make sure there was availability so I would recommend that as well.

Quick service very polite and reasonable prices. Fixed my flat tire and did an oil change. I will be returning.

Zaheer, Elijah, Zaheer's son, The boss- Mohammed, these are great guys but there us this other guy on day shift. He is hungry for money, inconsiderate and temperamental.We passed by to replace a battery. Within 10 minutes, it was done but he was charging us $45 for that. I wonder why that guy is behaving like that to erode the good reputation of the business. Least said about other things he has done against us the better.

dunno why low rating. They pulled out the nail and fixed my tire. Only 25. And like 1 min. Also, replug the headlight wire for me at no charge. 5min 2 problem solved at 10pm. At least that's a life saver for me as I'm a student working late at night. I dont know about the other issues in the comment, but at least if u got a hole on Tire, they do a nice job.And for the guy that spread screw nails on crosswalk, God will damn you. Every time I see nails on the road, if I'm riding my bike, I can go around as usual, but I'm in a car, and I can't see. It has to be intentional. Who would carry a big sharp screw and accidentally drop it in the middle of the road?

if you have any semblance of self respect do not come here. we dropped our car off and now cannot get into contact with anyone, they won t answer the phone, they re physically closed when their online hours say they re open, genuinely not sure how we re even gonna get our car back!! but they re definitely gonna enjoy the multiple night storage fee we ll have to pay even though we ve been trying so hard to pick our car up :)

American and foreign auto shop open late does a great job and don t try to scam you at your money. This place has been around for a long time because it provides great service. They don t speak English very well, but they do speak auto, lol

They are very good. Straight up front with prices and work going to be performed on your vehicle. I was stranded there in Chicago for a week without money to get my car back. They worked with me so could get my car back. Best experience ever working with a auto shop. Most just keep adding on bout Halsted didnt! Never charged storage fees for me. And that way a big blessing. 5 stars from me Sean W. From Minnesota

Great for routine maintenance. Bad for complex repairs.Excellent shop for oil changes, tire work, brake replacements. The people are nice but the English fluency is limited. They give honest pricing on regular maintenance items.Service is first come, first serve. So if you come when its empty, you can be in and out in less than 30 min for an oil change. Oil change cost me $85 on 2019 Toyota rav4. Brake jobs also seem competively priced.A lot of the negative reviews are from poor communication from staff. And from not understanding the repair costs beforehand. So don't come here if you need complex mechanical repairs.Service: Oil change

We had a flat while grocery shopping on a Sunday and called everywhere to see if they had both our tire size and availability that moment. No tire shops around had both, but this one did! They got us in immediately and ended up fixing/patching the tire instead and was finished in 5-10 minutes tops. Best of all it was only $30!

Nail in tire. In and out and reasonable price. Can t recommend these folks more. They will be my go to for wil quick fix going forward!

Usually my go to mechanics for most car troubles. It s best to call ahead to make sure they can fit you in but usually they will do what they can to accommodate you. So far satisfied over the last 2 years. Prices are reasonable as well.

Went in to remove a nail and they were fast and professional. The price I was quoted over the phone was different by 5 bucks more when I came in though. While fine still a bit annoying.

Worst mechanic !!! Save your time and money. These guys had me waiting a whole hour just to get my headlights changed. After more than hour wait they inform me that won't be able to do it because the headlight in question is on the the driver side. I could not believe my ears . First they knew it was the driver side . I would have appreciated if they told me they were busy and could not do it.I figured that sounds since my cae issue was minor and probably less than $50 to fix it, they'd rather cater to those with significant issues which makes them more money.I get that but my time also is very precious so instead of wasting people time, be honest so at least they know what to do .

The worst auto repair shop I have ever been to in my life. I went there with a lose break pedal and they told me that i had to get a certain part replaced and they tried replacing it for me. That didn t work so they tried it again with another part and that didn t help either. So i told them to put the original part back in and leave it as it is. They ruined the car. Before i went to the repair shop, my brake pedal was lose but at least the brakes were working, after they put the original part back in, my brakes stopped working completely and I had to take my car back home using my hand brake. Their excuse was we are trying our best to fix it. It is perfectly okay with me to waste my time (2 days) but don t ruin my car. Absolutely dissatisfied. If you like your car and value your time, do not go to this shop.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

My first time ever stopping in and i left work mixed emotions. I was greeted by a younger guy who barely spoke good English he directed me to the guy who was organizing the line of customers. Nice guy.He directed me to a Mexican who's first words to me was"you will get a ticket parked there". How when I'm standing right here and you're about to look at the car?So I pull it in and he then tells me that I need new rear pads and rotors which is something that I already knew. So now I'm standing around waiting for a price.so the younger guy comes back up to me and ask me what's wrong with the car and I begin to tell the younger guy was wrong and that u was waiting for a price, then the main mechanic yells at me and him " I already told this guy what's wrong with the car"that's when the younger guy tells me that I need to go purchase the parts. Which is something that I did not know.I didn't like the rudeness of the mechanic so I didn't go buy the parts immediately. The next morning I went to buy the parts didn't realize how low-cost they were and decided to change the brakes myself and not deal with the rudeness of the mechanic. However I do like the fact that I can go purchase my parts and take it to them to go put it on so maybe I will give them a try but hopefully I don't run into the same rude person who was in charge the last time I visited. This entire team was Mexican when I visited if anyone knows if the team is always Mexican or have had any problems with the same Mexican guy please let me know

First time going there and I just randomly pulled in when I saw it. They helped me right away and ran a diagnostic for free. It is close to home and I knew the problem was a simple oxygen sensor (I needed to get emissions testing), so was trying avoiding chain mechanics like Midas. They were straight forward, honest, reasonable and even came in below original quoted price. He called me when part was ready, I was able to walk to Target and shop while being fixed. They were super fast and car passed emissions!

Really fast and efficient! I came in for a tire repair at 10pm, there were about 5 cars ahead of me and the wait in line + repair time was less than 20 minutes. I live 3 hours away and appreciated that they were open & able to get me back on the road so quickly

I had my car towed there because it stopped running on my way home. It was the closest place. Their repair would be $2500 and I didnt have the money. They said $120 for diagnostic problem which was very common for that type of vehicle. Meanwhile I was sorting out towing from their place, their mechanic offered me $300 to buy off my car. Just wished I never had to use them, felt really bad...

Friendly people, no-nonsense, he asked me what I needed to be done and his price was more than reasonable. I called around on Father's Day to about eight or nine different repair shops in the area to get prices for spark plug installation in a Chevy Captiva. Most people were closed and the ones that were open were booked. The ones that were open but not booked were ridiculously expensive talking about $395 just to put in 4 spark plugs. I called Halsted Auto Repair he told me $65 and did the job within 30 minutes I am more than satisfied thank you very much! I will definitely be back when I need work done.

This place is very reasonable while the dealership continues to rip us off. They were very nice, fast and informative. I asked for brakes all the way around. I was given the wrong brakes for the back by Advance Auto but they told me to save my money and I still had time on the back.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

They treated me well, reasonable price, professionally trained.The morning incharge was a cool n nice guy.(beard person).It was a satisfaction to go there.Thanks for the Mexican guy who did work on my car. .thank u all n keep going.TC.

Pull in and they take care of you. Really easy and convenient. It's clean. It's all carports. Not a full real shop like you might expect. Good for a quick oil change, windshield wiper replacement, or tire plug.

Great service! Decent pricing for a downtown shop. Drive up, first come/first served, which is odd but rather convenient. They will diagnose while you wait (chairs right on the shop floor, you watch while they figure out what the problem is) and give you a quote. I didn t feel pressured after they gave me the quote. I don t let many shops touch my Wrangler, but would go back here anytime. Only downside: they don t speak great English.

I had a nail in my tire on a Sunday night at 11pm... leaking slowly... my dilemma was that if I didn't deal with the tire that moment, by the next day that tire would be completely flat. I remembered this shop is open all night, so I cruised over there as fast as I could. They were able to pull the nail and repair the tire in about 10 minutes time - back up to 100% for a grand total of eleven bucks. The guys were very courteous; I was extremely impressed and glad they were there when I needed them.

Bad experience! Took my Honda Accord for rotor and caliper replacement, they agreed on a price and just doubled after starting the work. They aren't ready to charge labor by hour as well with me bringing the parts.Management should take care of such activities in future to avoid losing customers.

Charged me $250 for a break job. It should have been $200. He did take me in at 5 PM and made calls right away to get the breaks. I was done in an hour. I will recommend to friends but might be back.Update, had a problem with my routers and they fixed it at no charge. Very cool!
