Had my tires patched. Waited for about 3hrs to get it dont even though had an appointment. But its a good place. They have nice waiting area and some restaurants nearby if you want to go somewhere while waiting.

I definitely trust Grand tire with getting my car fixed.They are honest .I suggest calling ahead of time to get your car in because they are busy since they get the job done right. Bob is very understanding, friendly and helpful. The whole staff goes out of their way get the job done right. I have been coming here for years and always left happy and satisfied.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!Called a few times with questions this morning- everyone who answered just set such a good tone like they genuinely enjoy helping people.Jay was awesome and he was informative EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. He worked with my warranty company (I didn t have to do anything!), Jay & Grand Tire couldn t have made my life any easier truly made me feel so comfortable and best of all Got me back on the road so fast.True highlight - THEY asked ME what time I worked & said call me back at this time and see if we can get it back to you so u don t have to pay for Uber !!! Like what ? No other auto place does this nor so many care but this Gem cared. There is no doubt grand tire is the best around to get ur car fixed and have a great service the whole way

Called off work because i got a quote the day b4 and confirmed to come in first thing in the morning. Showed up with the car and Bob was like well take a look at it and give you a quote, i then explained i had 1, and he was like yeh no we have to look at it. I sat and waited for 25 min in dissapointment cuz i read a review tht explaind the exact same issue with bob the day before. I then called another shop in the area and got a quote for $220 less then the quote from the day prior from this establishment.Asked for my keys and chose to avoid the poor service Bob had to offer.

This is the only place I take my car- they are honest and do great work. Jay, Bob, Angelo and Rick are amazing. I m lucky to have found them

BOB AT GRAND TIRES ROCKS!!The brakes in my car were well worn and making noise. Naturally I went to Grand Tires where I knew the job would be done right the first time. There were 30 items to be repaired. Bob even threw in a few extras. I have been to countless repair shops in the Midwest and California, but NONE OF THOSE REPAIR SHOPS CAN MATCH THE 1st CLASS SERVICE, GUARANTEE and advice given to me by Bob and his crew. They know their stuff, they are honest and they are perfectionists. And if anybody tells you differently, don't believe it!

I would never hesitate to recommend this place. It is the top one on my list. Profesional, better than reasonable and very accommodating.Update on 02/08/24. Jay, the manager, was very accommodating receiving our car to be checked.

After hitting metal road debris on I294 - blowing both passenger side tires - breaking a rim and having to be towed... we ended up at Grand Tire and Auto. They had the Explorer with all new tires and had taken the time to find a deal on a matching rim. They drove a total of 3 hours to obtain the rim and save us $500 from buying a new one and being able to have the car back within 24 hours. Excellent above and beyond service. Thank you!!!

About 7-9 months ago I've completed alignment at this Goodyear. Mechanic told me that he can not do alignment unless I'll replace a cam bolt. I paid extra for cam bolt. I've never asked him to give me an old one because I trusted him. Today I've completed an alignment at different place and I was told that I need to replace a cam bolt, I asked show me at which tire and it was the same right front wheel! Wow! I asked why. I've done that recently. He said previously whoever was replacing it they put just regular plain bolt not a cam Bolt. That's why my new tires worn that fast and car pulled right slightly. BTW I'm in sears now. Here is the picture of regular bolt which meant to be CAM BOLT. Beware of this place. Customer Service is good they smiling and act like professionals. But in appear they can screw you pretty bad. And you will pay a lot of many to fix consequences.

I experienced discrimination and prejudice service from Bob. I called on 2/24 Friday to get an estimate for a Chevy Spark 2016. The estimate was for two front tires to be replaced and an oil change. The estimate was around 140.00 per tire. I was told first come, first serve. I showed up the following day on Saturday morning. From the moment Bob looked at me, the bad service began. He stated no such quote ever existed. There s a chance the quote could of been wrong, but he proceeded to tell me there was no tire in the size 185-55-15 available at the shop. Mind you, this is a tire shop. The person I spoke to the prior day didn t have a problem locating the tires I needed. What changed? The information given to me by Bob was false because Bob didn t want to service me due to my race. I want the General Manager to tell me there was no tire in size 185-55-15 of the morning of 2/25, or I m escalating this issue to corporate.

We were there around closing time. They close at 6, Google says they close at 7. We though we still have time! I had a small nail in one of the tires! They were very nice and fixed it right way even though they had to stay longer to finish! Very nice people! Thanks for fixing my tire! Recommended!

Open in AppGrand TireTires, Auto Repair, Oil Change Stations12/13/2020My family �has been going to this shop since the 80's and has always been provided the best service. They always go the extra mile to take care of all your auto needs. Even if they don't �specialize in a certain �repair �they offer suggestions and the best advice. Very professional staff. The owner Jay, the managers Chris and �Ken as well as the mechanics are all knowledgeable and do an excellent job. I love this place. �I recommend it 100%. They are the best!

Grand Tire is awesome. I have been coming here for over 30 years! They have great mechanics, a friendly staff and always make you feel comfortable.I even rely on them for inspections on vehicles before we purchase them. They run their business in a family like atmosphere.Thank you Don and staff for your dependability and honesty. You truly are a pleasure doing business with.

Amazing. Had a screw in my tire that was only in my tread. Did not puncture the tire. They removed it at no cost. This is old school, take care of the customer way to do business. To find that now is rare. I insisted they take some money....they gave it to the person who did the work. Great people to do business with.

Recently upgraded the entire suspension on my 06 Mustang GT Convertible and needed the alignment checked. Called around to some local shops and this Goodyear location seemed to be the cheapest. The tech who did the alignment did a great job. My brake pedal seemed soft prior to coming here and when I got the car back after the alignment the brakes pressure was perfect. I'm certain he took care of that for me no charge. I've taken 2 of my other cars here previously and they have always done good work and fast. Don and Chris are cool fellas. So far all the work they've done on my vehicles were flawless and problem free. I have never had to come back for warranty work. It was always done right the first time. Great place, fair prices, fast work. Will definitely be back.

Chris took really great care of me. Had my car towed over Saturday night in March 2018. Came in first thing Sunday Morning. These guys had me back on the road Sunday evening, Amazing !!Gave me a full run down of what was done to my vehicle and an awesome price. I highly recommend this location. Great guys! They were able to quickly diagnose a problem I'd been having with one of my tires losing air. A mechanic I'd previously brought it to didn't. Grand Tire fixed the corroded rim and I'm no longer afraid to drive my car! Oh, and I was surprised at the cost, very reasonable!

Really nice place they are honest and the work has been done very fast. I would recommend them. The staff is very friendly and listens to what I have to say. I bought 4 new tires and a new battery and had my drivers window motor fixed and was very satisfied. I consider them my go to mechanics shop for 2018 and 2019.

The service here is great. People are kind and helpful. My right front tire was flat. They helped me get the tire they don t usually use, and keep my car there while waiting. Definitely will visit here next time.

Treated well by the the owner and employee's. I have had multiple things from Tires to Timing Belt on one of my vehicles 2 years ago too Springs and Rims a year ago. No problems or return visits needed for repairs done. Finally a complete repair shop that does excellent work at reasonable pricing. My family and friends are now using them. Triple A+

A+++ Honest and trustworthy. Prices competitive with the chain stores but their quality is superior. Appointments are good, but walk ins get great service too! Call Don or Chris and tell them what you need! I have no financial connection here, this is my go to Guy!

I have been bringing my cars to this shop for several years and will continue to do so. They are honest and do great work. I have had several major repairs done to my high mileage vehicles in addition to purchasing tires and getting regular oil changes at Grand Tire & Auto. Don, the owner is very knowledgeable along with Ken who I have known forever. All the repairs are done correctly and my cars run fantastic. I drive all the way in from Grayslake, IL and witness a waiting room full of satisfied return customers just like myself everytime I am there. They are capable of doing every repair imaginable and save me a significant of money compared to going to the car dealership. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Chris at goodyear and everyone else there are the biggest sweethearts they really helped me out a lot. my car got damaged/vandalized and had to be at the shop for over a week and they really understood my.sitaution that was going on and they saved me from paying over thousand of dollars for everything. I couldnt ask for better service than what these guys have done for me. I always go to them everytime.something happens to my car and they always do amazing work and im so grateful for all those amazing workers there. They are by far the best customer service i ever experienced in my entire life and i thank you for everything you guys have done for me. The rating of the service they have provided for me.for years.now is more than 5 star if i could rate you guys youd be 100 star lol. Thank you everyone and espically Chris and Don for everything you guys have done for me!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent service everytime. They tell you exactly what your car needs as opposed to other places that sell you a bunch on nonsense. Reasonable and fair when it comes to price as well. Highly recommended!

The most honest and competent mechanics in the business. Some places might be cheaper but when they fix something you can trust its fixed. Your driving in a big heavy hunk of metal at 60 mph you don't want to trust just anyone.
