9-1-23: Just left my car for body repair. Very satisfied this far. Crystal clear insurance processing. Friendly staff.9-19-23: Just picked up my car after repairs. Gold Coast is truly a unique organization! Their communications and updates were precise and consistent throughout the repair process. They negotiated well with the insurance company on my behalf, and the neighbor Enterprise location gave me a free upgrade on a rental car based on their business with Gold Coast: very valuable and convenient (for pickup and return of the rental cars). My car was repaired with great excellence, it was computer-tested after repairs to make sure that all systems work per the manufacturer s standards, at it was pristinely detailed before delivery.Not even at premium dealerships have I seen such quality, excellent customer service and just pleasant people to deal with. Was pleasantly surprised when using Gold Coast Auto Body as quality service is hard to find nowadays. The communication from my initial call through the process and their overall repair knowledge was efficient and effective. Best of all, the quality of the work was exceptional. I spent a lot of money for this car and it is less than a year old so it was important that they restored it without any indication of the damage, and they accomplished this, it's back to looking like brand new. I also liked that they worked directly with Audi to ensure everything operated as it should. Lastly, they dealt with insurance effectively, without letting insurance negotiate a lesser quality repair (which they tried). There was a decent amount of difference but Gold Coast was able to get them to pay all but my deductible. Thank you Gold Coast, we need more companies like you here in America!

I don't write many reviews, if any. BUT some degenerate decided to smash my car window, and the car dealership recommended these guys.GCAB got me in quick, got the work done within a couple of days, and returned my car clean as a whistle. They even removed my wheel tax sticker from years ago. Highly recommended!

Mercedes repair returned my vehicle to like new status. I had to have extra work due to a specialized Mercedes paint and we knew it was an uphill task to get the insurance carrier on board but they told me not to worry as they had a whole team that worked directly with my insurer to get through the paperwork. I received regular updates that kept me in the loop at all times. The repairs were finished a few days early and you would never know there was an earlier ding. I would highly recommend Gold Coast because of their thoroughness, professionalism, and all-around take-care-of-business attitude.

Was referred here by Mercedes dealership. Had a huge black scratch all the way down the side of my new white car, and sent a message through the website over the weekend for an appointment. Francesca got back to me first thing Monday morning and got me in for a consult, where Mitch and his team buffed out the scratch completely and didn t charge me anything. Very kind and high quality customer service. I will be back if I ever need any more body work on my car.

Very easy going and friendly staff . Made me feel comfortable at a stressful process . I also love the way you update the customer on updates with texts and emails. The experience is definitely A1 .communication is great. I haven t seen any other shops operate at these type of levels so I commend whoever is training the staff great job you guys have to be number one in the area.

Took my BMW in to have Gold Coast look at a scrape on my bumper, and to hopefully buff out a slight scrape down the side of the car. I met with Mitch who could not have been more reasonable and helpful. I should note that I can be very particular, but Mitch and his team were able to make it right, without even charging me!Outstanding customer customer service and advice. I wouldn't think twice about bringing your car to Gold Coast Auto Body.

Not cheap, but you get what you pay for: excellent work, service, and facility. Took my car here for some body work covered by the insurance, the line of communication was open and transparent the whole way. At the end we even did some custom work as well, the staff was open to ideas and tried the best approach to installation; and the result was impeccable.

I recently had my car repaired at Gold Coast Auto Body. They were outstanding from the start. Very professional every step of the way, whether it was Dominic, Mario, Mitch, or Francesca. They were very detail oriented when accessing the damage to my car, making sure that everything was properly restored to pre accident condition. I have already recommended Gold Coast Auto to a few people for their car repairs, and will continue to do so in the future. They updated the progression every step of the way. Bottom line, my car looked brand new when I picked it up, and never would think that It was ever in an accident. I had a fantastic 10/10 experience with Gold Coast. From the intake process to the final pick up, there was always someone there to explain how everything works. During our first meeting, Mario took a lot of time and effort to show me what needs to be done and how they are going to be done. He answered all my questions with patience, kindness, and professionalism. He was extremely helpful. Then, during the repair process, I never felt I was left in the dark or I needed to proactively check jn; Francesca would send me weekly updates regarding the repairs process and provide me with updated completion time. My Audi Q8 looked brand new when I picked it up. Thanks so much for your excellent service Dominic, Mario, and Francesca!

In all honesty the reviews scared me a bit. My car was side-swiped and broken into within a week of ownership. I had to go somewhere and the suburbs were too far to drive in winter with a busted out window. I spoke with Tesla and they suggested going to Gold Coast. I'm extremely happy I did.Carlos is a special person and if you get the chance to work with him you'll be very happy you did. During the whole process he was kind, friendly, and most importantly very communicative. I tend to bombard people with questions and he handled them and my neurotic behavior like a champ. He's a stand-up guy and takes ownership of issues as they arise. No one will be a bigger advocate for your car than Carlos.The repair work itself was very good as to be expected from a Tesla certified establishment. I went back for a few minor things but it really wasn't a problem at all; more me than the work. Once again Carlos took care of me and made sure I left happy.Do not be dissuaded by the reviews here on Google; I do not believe they are indicative of the shop, the people here, or the work they do. Gold Coast cares about your car and they make sure the job is done to your satisfaction.Carlos deserves a raise!

I was looking to see if they were open on Saturday and realized that I never reviewed them. I can't say enough about the excellent repairs they did on my Audi Q5 and the customer service. I was rear ended in the summer of 2023. They repaired the car like new and also assisted me with problems I was having with the insurance company.

I recently got a hit-and-run on my new EQS 580 sedan. From the first call to finally receiving the key and driving home, the whole process was smooth and full of thoughtfulness. They answer calls and emails immediately. Paperwork was prepared and shared at a multi-million dollar project level. The staff there is knowledgeable, and they are willing to help solve insurance issues and send tips that customers might neglect. The bodywork is flawless, and the car will be sent back to the dealership for a final calibration as needed. I will not use any other shops in the Chicago area if my car has any problems in the future.

Really love these guys. I took in my Audi Q7 to Gold Coast to repair after an accident and they not only restored it to perfection, but they fought for me with my insurance provider to get the best possible outcome to repair my vehicle. They negotiated on my behalf and represented my interests as if they were my blood relative. That right there is true CUSTOMER OBSESSION! Incredible response time, communication, and professionalism. It was such a no brainer for me to write a 5 out of 5 review.Highlights: Actively involved ownership - Dom truly cares about the business and his customers and the quality and care of the vehicle, communication, process, and effort shows from the first call until you pick it up.They were so helpful in managing the relationship with insurance, making sure that I really understood what was going on, and helping me get my car repaired in the best manner possible. Insurance sent me to a national chain shop and appraiser originally authorized $1900 of fixes, which would have been purely cosmetic.GCAB was able to assess that there was potential further damage, navigated the insurance process for me, and in the end, the insurance co agreed that there was closer to $7000 of work that was required.Without GCAB, I would have ended up with a hack job to just "cover up" the damage to a brand new vehicle. With them, I was able to get a fair assessment and the expertise to understand more about the insurance process.As a business owner myself, I know how hard it is to give that quality of care to every client, so I really appreciated this from Dom and his team.

I had a bad experience with this service with regard to customer communications.First, they doubled the price of the service in the middle of the process and I had to go back and forth from them to insurance to get it aligned.Second, they scratched my car when performing the work, which I addressed when picked up the car.Not only nobody apologized for that, but they started bullying me for making it difficult . Was I supposed to leave with damaged vehicle and say thank you ?The employee I communicated to over the phone regarding the price issue threatened to keep my car hostage if I don t cover the doubled price.That s insane.Another employee, Mitch, slapped me when I started arguing with him regarding the scratch.These guys claiming that they are the best in city and only ones officially authorized to fix luxury cars like Audi, BMW, Mercedes, etc.If fact, they hire people who don t know how to communicate with customers at all and look like they just came back from prison.

Gold Coast Auto Body (GCAB) is a certified Acura vehicle repairer. They have done an excellent job in repairing my Acura RDX that was unfortunately hit by another vehicle recently with back passenger door and wheel damages. The whole team not only provided great mechanical work in getting the car to pre-accident condition, but also offered valuable customer services such as providing timely and accurate status updates, interacting/negotiating with insurance companies, offering customers with key background context and advice. Everyone (Francesca, Kate, Drew, just to name a few) in the team is very approachable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend GCAB to get your vehicle fixed in the right way at the first time!

The team at Gold Coast Auto Body exemplifies what it means to be professionals. Each member is incredibly kind and courteous and goes out of their way to make things as easy as possible. When it comes to the actual repairs, there's a reason that all the top dealerships only recommend Gold Coast. These guys are great!I took my car in for an estimate to repair the damage I did on my rear bumper when I backed in to a low skinny pole.Mitch and team provided a complete estimate and also recommended that I probably didn't need to spend the $$ to fix it (the estimate was high because of where the crunch was).I've used GCAB before and will continue to rely on them.It's wonderful to have an auto body shop that does great work, is trustworthy and a joy to work with.Service: Body & Trim

Trust all of the glowing reviews, this place is the real deal. An unforunate combination of a bad garage door sensor and two city garbage trucks led to me knocking off the sharkfin antenna on my car. The team at GCAB got me in for an estimate within 48 hours. They were prompt and Mitch walked through all the possible options with me. The entire team was transparent and the work was completed with pride. 24 hours after drop-off, my car was ready. Not only was the level of workmaship incredible, the car was detailed inside and out. I had the opportunity to talk with the owner, and learn about the multitude of veterans outreach programs that the business partners with.
