The Gerber team including the manager at this location were all honest and friendly professionals. The repairs and paint were done perfectly. They are busy because of this, but their automated texts keep you informed on the progress.

First, let me say, the repairs they performed look good so I think they did a good job. The problem comes with not getting my car back when they said I would and no calls from them as to why the delays. I called on Friday and was told the car wasn't ready it was in paint, they would call me morning to tell me when to pick it up. No call on Monday so I called them and was told the car was in paint . Same excuse, makes no sense. I was able to pick it up on Tuesday but no apology for the delay. I guess I should be happy the work they did was good but the customer service was poor at best. Hopefully I won't need repairs again but if I do I will be looking elsewhere.Service: Body & Trim

I have been at Mayer's twice and the first time they did the work very quickly. The second time they took longer. I requested the tape not to be taken off my door sensor because it doesn't work without it and they still removed it and it took a long time for the new tape to make the door sensor work. My car tire had a flat the next day that I picked it up and my car makes a jiggling sound like if a part is loose on the bumper that was replaced. The car was not cleaned well from the inside, there was a lot of dust everywhere. I do overall like how the body work is done but they have some things to improve on.

My car practically looks brand spanking new. I am so happy with the repair service that I received. It s kind of unfortunate to say that I ve had my vehicles repaired there before. But if I HAD to choose Mayers is getting my business no questions asked. I drove an hour just to get my car serviced here! I got my catalytic converter stolen and they were fantastic. They updated me on the status of my car throughout the week and dealt with insurances. I never had to call my insurances since Mayer s was on top of it! Thank you for being rockstars!Highly suggest this best for great customer service and speedy/reliable repairs.Service: Exhaust

The office staff was very nice and friendly. The drive in and drive out was simple. The explanation of the estimate , insurance company , and my roll in it all was understandable. Overall a pleasant experience.

Mayer s was recommended by my auto insurance company, and they did not disappoint. Their office staff is friendly, helpful, and professional (and the front office itself is SO CLEAN!). They communicated with me at every point, ans took care of all the details for me in a stressful situation. Every repair done, but particularly the body repairs and paintwork, was impeccable. They even detailed my car before I received it (I ve never had body work done, so maybe this is a typical service? Regardless, the gesture made me so happy). I would highly recommend Mayer s to anyone looking for body work for their vehicle.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

We have had to use Mayer's twice for car repairs after separate accidents. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient! They helped us through insurance questions, giving us a quote for the work, exceeding expectations on the repair - delivering our car ahead of schedule! They also have a relationship with Enterprise up the road, so it makes it SO easy to rent a car. They pick you up and you leave the rental at Mayer's when you pick up your car. Could not be an easier process when you're getting repairs done. Highly recommend!Service: Body & Trim

The team at Mayer's Collision Center were such a pleasure to work with. From the estimates to the repairs to working with my insurance company -- they made the entire process easy and worry free. They did such a great job on my car repairs, it looks brand new! With my busy work schedule they were even able to drop my car off at my home. I will definitely recommend Mayer's to friends and family and certainly plan to use them in the future for any repairs that my vehicles might need.

My car was hit while parked, damages were extreme. I had a list of places I could've took it to but I decided to go with Mayers and I have to say it was a great decision. They kept in contact with me the 3 weeks it was getting repaired, my car was done a week early from promised date and when I picked it up everyone was so nice and professional I drove my baby for an hour just to make sure everything was ok and I couldn't be happier. My car was so clean inside and out thanks to Mayer's and I am 100 percent satisfied with the work that was done. I have already recommended this place to people I know and I will surely use them again in the future. Hello,I would like to say we have had a couple cars worked on here. I would say excellent service. I brought my car in the week of Thanksgiving and just over a week they fixed multiple things bumper, side door, headlight, paint, and everything came out perfect. I also wanted to add they did a great job with cleaning the inside as well this was a nice to see place go the extra mile. They kept in touch as well as far as the status of when things would be done as well. Very pleased with the service.

Had to bring my car in for a door replacement. Friendly and professional staff with great communication. Helped me from start to finish with rentals and taking care of working with my insurance provider. Car was returned good as new! Mayer s has been our go to collision place for years. They are honest about what needs to be done, fair on price and quick to complete everything! Their personnel are friendly and knowledgeable. They have drive up free estimates too!Additionally, they are a preferred vendor of our insurance company, State Farm.I mean what else could you want??This time they replace a side mirror for me and it costs even less than they thought it would. BONUS!You will not be disappointed coming here.

The quality of work was good. Later than promised. Took 35 minutes to locate key when picked up. Not detailed inside. Worst of all, crashed car two weeks old. Discovered two days after pick-up, every thing in glove box was missing. Car manual, bill of sale, registration, insurance card and handicap sticker. Went back, they could not locate. Highly recommend Mayer's. We were rear-ended while driving through the Chicago area en route to somewhere else. We took our car to Mayer's to see if it was still safe to drive after the accident and to see if we could waterproof the trunk, which had been bent such that there were gaps that would let rain in.Mayer's gave us confidence that the car was still safe to drive and put specialized plastic all over the trunk to waterproof it. They didn't charge us anything (although we forced them to accept a tip). I'm especially impressed with their generosity since we are not from the Chicago area and therefore are extremely unlikely to be a repeat customer. If we *did* live in Chicago, though, I would absolutely take the car to Mayer's to get the damage from the accident fixed.

Top notch! I've had work done on my cars 3xs here over the last couple of years. Always affordable and accommodating! Carlos is extremely thorough. And Monica is an absolute gem. If you need work done on your car, go to Mayer!

Amazing work! Couldn't be happier! :)3 weeks ago I accidentally bashed up my front passenger fender a little bit. Few dents, some small scratches, and a few bad ones. I went to about 7 different places in the neighborhood for quotes, 5 of the 7 immediately told me I'd need to replace the fender and that it would be basically hopeless and nearly impossible to try to repair the damage. 1 of the shops said they might be able to repair the damage, but didn't sound very confident, and even said it still might be noticeable after the repair. My final stop was Mayers. My car was checked out by an employee named Carlos who told me not only would he be able to make all the repairs, but even quoted me the best price of all the shops I went to (though most of those shops quotes were for a new fender, even if it was just for the repairs, I don't think anyone else would have given a better price than Mayers).He was able to get my car in the following week, and estimated 3 or 4 days till it was ready.With all the negative things I was told from the other shops, I was still a little worried during those days, hoping everything would go good. I was not at all disappointed once I went to pick up my car. The work was completed within the given time frame, and I was almost in disbelief when I saw the final outcome. It looked PERFECT! Like a brand new fender! There were no sign of any previous damage, they did a wonderful job! There was even a small scratch on the bumper, which I told them I really wasn't too concerned with, and cared more about the fender damage, and they even touched up the bumper scratch too.I can't say enough good things about this shop and the work they did after several other shops told me it was hopeless. I highly recommend them for your auto body repair needs. THANK YOU MAYERS! :)

Too pricey!so this is one of the few damages I had and was estimated ridiculously in this work shop, this bumper dent was estimated to be fixed for 400$ to 800$, thankfully my dad referred me to another bodyshop who fixed it for just 20$ (it was just a small dent on the rear bumper that needed heating and touchup), WOW! Most of people in the auto industry are crooks!
