I haven t taken the after pictures yet but Gerber was fantastic, I love that you get updated through an online portal because I was able to check the status and it even gave an estimated pickup time which they were done before that. The best thing was once they had my car I didn t have to do anything regarding the insurance or any cost and the rental place was right next door.Thank you to David, who took care of everything for me!

Fixed a dented fender and headlight glass, got email updates with a target date, and they even cleaned my car inside and out! Highly recommend!

I brought my car here after being rear ended and seeing that this shop was on the insured's preferred list with Allstate. My estimator, David O., did an amazing job with my repairs and was communicative throughout the process. He worked with my schedule to ensure I had the car back when I needed it, and was very informed regarding the reimbursement process with Allstate. Additionally, there was a day when Gerber's phone and computer system was down and when I reached out via email, I immediately received a phone call from their manager, Angel, who was able to update me on my car and what was going on. If I have any required repairs in the future, I'll definitely return!

Jordan was incredible! From the moment he picked up the phone, he was courteous, professional and thorough at every stage of the process. Other shops were quoting months to repair, whereas Jordan had our car back within 2 weeks of my first call. Thank you!

Had a great and easy experience at Gerber Collision on Kedzie! They were able to get me in for an estimate same day, get my repair rolling the following week, and my car was in and out in four days as promised - plus they cleaned it for me! The other person's insurance was paying and Jordan at Gerber dealt with the whole thing so it was super easy. Bonus that there's a rental car spot attached if you need it. Definitely recommend!

This is the only place I trust with my car. Their mechanic Ralph is the best and finest that there is. Very experienced, knowledgeable, honest, kind, gets things done in a timely manner, never had any problems after having work done on my car and the communication was excellent. They also work with great auto parts dealers and use high quality parts. Jordan and David are two other Gerber guys I ve dealed with in the past who are also great. Highly recommend this place. I had to go down here twice from my car being hit, and I am so happy that I came here. The company is great and made the whole process quick and easy. Jordan was the point of contact for me, he was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Jordan is great at what he does to say the least. The work done on my car was amazing and I have 0 complaints. I stopped in this location to get my windshield done and the glass repairman was telling me something about my sunroof being clogged. He said the sunroof is like a gutter and they get clogged. Angel the general manager came over he introduced himself. Explain things much better and offered to take my car in the back and unclog it for me.this here shows how there are good people in the world.Thanks Angel.Service: Auto glass repair

Brought my car here to fix my front end damages, and broken horn. Took about 2 weeks to get the car done. When i got it back i noticed the reflectors they replaced was cracked and the horn they replaced was broken. Where is the quality control in this business? Why didn t they check everything before they return it to the owner. Also it was back and forth dropping off my car to them and it s been months I m still waiting for a horn to be replaced. Don t go here. I wasted so much time with this body shop and nothing is still fixed.

Ralph is the best mechanic I have ever known. He is honest, incredibly skilled, and has fantastic communication skills and a killer sense of humor! I was hit in the rear a couple of weeks ago. I went to this company through an insurance claim. Car was fixed in a timely manner. Great communication from staff. Jordan is absolutely amazing. Straight forward, honest guy, excellent work. Definitely will recommend!

We rear-ended someone in our Tesla. This is NOT a certified Tesla repair shop (the closest one is in Skokie), but Angel went out of his way to help us anyway. He got our vehicle back into driving condition so that we can get it repaired elsewhere, and honestly, it looks almost as good as new. Angel was truly a lifesaver in this situation. He definitely went above and beyond for us - and didn't charge us a dime. Kudos to this man and the entire Geber team on Kedzie Ave. If you ever need repairs on your vehicle, I highly recommend this location.Service: Body & Trim

Excellent customer service and facility! I love that the enterprise car rental was in the facility. Everyone was super friendly and professional. David did a great job of making the whole process really simple! I was extremely happy with the work that was done on my car also! My car looked brand new when I picked it up! The service I received from Gerber Collision was nothing short of outstanding. They fixed my car after a collision. Upon pick up, I noticed my windshield had a new crack. I explained to the manager ,Angel that the cracked windshield wasn t there prior to the car being in their possession. They fixed it no questions asked, in a timely manner and super friendly. I would highly recommend this place if you need to get your car fixed.

My van was recently slammed into by a wreckless driver and the rear end was shot. I called my Insurance right away and I sent the Van to Gerber since I had work done there before. The entire team went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Everything was explained clearly and I am confident in the work done. When I picked up my car, there was an issue that I brought to their attention and it was fixed the same day. My car died out so they even changed the battery for me. This is really the best place out there. They may take a minute but that's what we pay the insurance for and it was well worth the wait knowing that everything was checked and done correctly. My thanks to the team and I won't go anywhere else for my car repair needs.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Painting

Gerber Collison & Glass were listed by our insurance as a preferred repair shop for the fender bender repairs we needed on our RAV 4 Hybrid. In February I met with Jordan and he was very clear on what might need replacing and I had an estimate within 15 minutes. Three months later I brought the car in for the repairs. Took just a few days and all looks new. Clearly the management at Gerber realize how valuable communication is with their customers. They text you with updates. The very pleasant woman at the front desk called after I received a text saying the repair was complete. Jordan met me at checkout and reviewed the repair. He was a great communicator. Follow-up like this is unusual these days and it is appreciated.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Happy with the overall experience at Gerber! I highly recommend David was great at communicating with me and updating me on my car. My car looks like new as if nothing happened to it. Will definitely be recommending family and friends! 10/10

It all started with Marcie answering my call and walking me thru the process.She was sweet and made me very comfortable . I walked into the reception area a few days later and saw 2 associates talking. I was immediately addressed with a good morning and how can i help you.David took over instantly and started the process which from start to finish was 10 min or so.David was Informative, efficient, courteous and a professional. i received daily updates on work being done and i called them a few times and those calls were always answered and they addressed all my questions. I picked up my car and I was very pleased with the work...looked new!!! it seems that professional work, great service and taking care of the client is what Gerber Collision &Glass are about...Thank you Marcie,David and the GCG team.

This place was amazing from the minute I entered until I picked up My GINA. She was treated with love and respect. They sent me a text letting me know the progress. My due date to get my car back was 9/24/15 and I got her today. Everyone was great. From answering the phone to all of the process. Also Enterprise is right next to it and I received excellent service there as well. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it...... Brenda Mueller

I sent my car here to have repairs done as part of an insurance claim. I worked with Jordan primarily. The process was smooth and he was prompt to communicate throughout via email and phone calls, including routine status updates.

I went to Gerber Collision & Glass because I thought they were trustworthy. I needed an estimate on the cost to fix a passenger side mirror, and they really went the distance to take full advantage. I have a hyundai elantra and I was told that It would cost $460 to fix the side mirror on my car. I know for a fact that was a ridiculous price because the part itself only cost around 100 bucks if you purchase it new, and I know that they have to paint it and install it. The installation is very simple because you only have to pop the little plastic piece out from the side of the door, take out the screws, and replace the part. It only takes about 15 min to actually install the mirror. And they wanted to charge me for an hours worth of installation, when it takes less than 15 min to install a side mirror. When I ask why it cost so much, I was told that because the door had to be completely disassembled in order to install it, which is a complete lie. When I told him that was not true he just stared at me for 5 seconds and said nothing. I also asked how much it would cost if I brought in the piece myself and they just installed it and they still tried to charge me $300 to do that. I got an estimate from someplace else that cost way less than what they charge me. Gerber Collision & Glass is not highly recommended by me. I was really disappointed by the estimate that was given to me. They also need to work on their customer service skills. The lady at the front desk was very nice she took my name down and gave it to one of the technicians but it took them over 10 minutes to come out when there was no one else in the store and you can hear at least four people standing around in the back telling jokes about back in the day. If there's only one person in the store I should have gotten prompt service.
