Greg always does a great job! Have had numerous jobs done by him always does what he says. Resononable prices for the work he has done no complaints what so ever. Have recommended him to numerous people all agree with the referral!!!

I first learned about General Automotive Machinists when I purchased a vintage pickup and their invoice was in the folder. It turned out that they first purchased the truck and had rebuilt the engine. I was impressed that they had maintained all records about the truck and the engine repair so this would fifty years. This company has multi-general roots and the owner, Greg, has been trained by his father and grandfather and uncle. Talk about in his blood. I have been totally impressed with every detail of his operation and his overall knowledge. I am a mechanical engineer and he sure passes my tests. He is meticulous and delivers only quality. He is also very creative and able to recreate parts that are NLA. To date, he has fully blueprinted four vintage Dodge truck engines, three Porsche 356 engines, two GMC and two Chevrolet Stove bolt 6's. The results are always amazing. He knows the old school ways and has a very impressive shop and machinery. Truly, this gentleman is trustworthy and extremely professional. He was on the OLD Pickers program I guess as one of my engines got on as well. I heard one of his engines run last week, it was in my friend's Hudson Terraplane, again, it would let a nickle balance on its edge on the air cleaner..Wow that is who you are dealing with when you deal with this company. One man who truly knows his trade.
