Great service. Mr. Garcia even went as far as taking our car to his house to fully test the fixes he made. Very reasonably priced as well.

I don t leave reviews for many places. But I felt compelled and so positively impacted I absolutely had to.As a woman, it can be scary going to mechanic shops in fear that you re going to be ripped off because the mechanic knows he can. Especially, if you re desperate, in fear that you d rather pay whatever cost before getting stranded in the middle of Chicago. Jose (the owner) was someone recommended to me by a friend. This man could ve taken advantage, but he is one of the few most honest mechanics I ve ever met. He will be brutally honest, he is a mechanic of integrity which as a young woman who knows she can be taken advantage of, I appreciate and I will remain loyal. He has earned my upmost respect. I ll be recommending all my friends, especially my lady friends in the Chicago area.

The best car mechanic in Hermosa! Ask for Jose, he is a very knowledgeable auto mechanic. Their team is honest and they spend the time necessary to diagnose the issue. Fair prices. They do great work here! They explain everything to you and you can be confident they will do good by you. Mr. Garcia is great at what he does but more importantly he is a man of integrity. Can t go wrong bringing your car to his shop

Great and honest mechanic. Gives you realistic expectations for the work being done on your vehicle at reasonable prices. Fixes what is needed never adding any unneeded work like many other mechanics try to do.

My car was "Rejected" by the emissions, I was given a book called the "Repair Shop Report Card" and told to hire a professional, by the emissions staff. So I called Garcia Auto Service (because they are in the same zip code that I live in) inquiring about there prices and what their guarantee would be that my vehicle would pass the emissions. They guaranteed that my vehicle would pass emissions if repaired by them and they would have NO problem putting into writing, but when I started to inquire about their prices, the man on the phone got upset and told me to find someone else who would do it for free and then he hung up. If this SO CALLED professional would of remained on the phone I would of tired to clear up my inquiry. ALL I wanted to know was "If I pay the $75 diagnosing fee and have my car repaired by them would they give me the diagnosing free?"
