My husband is my mechanic but recently disabled. I came here because of all the other wonderful reviews. I also follow them in Insta. Just seemed like an honest place to go.I have a really old car with 18200 miles. Needless to say, it's got issues. I dropped it off early for an estimate and they called me back after a few hours with a very detailed estimate. The mechanic was very thorough and respectful and explained my options. In the end, repairs would be too costly and I decided not to have any work done. No one was pushy or made feel anything but thankful for their honesty. They charged me for their estimate and time, which could be used towards repairs if I decided to within 30 days.I showed the estimate to my husband and he said it was accurate, so that made me feel even better.I would recommend to anyone looking for honest work on their vehicle.

In the heart of Humboldt Park right on California and division sits this tire shop only one near by too if you ask me. Fast efficient and good price. I was in and out on tire change l, you can also call ahead to make sure they have your size tell them Pedro sent you

The service was prompt and accommodated my car at 8 AM. I received multiple updates throughout the day; they were transparent in terms of what needs to be done vs what can be deferredAdditionally, the price was 30-40% cheaper than local competitors. Great fixture in the local Humboldt Park community, and highly recommend their services.

Highly recommend for fast, reliable and straightforward service at affordable prices. I had an unexpected emergency with my car and they were able to take my car in the same day.I was updated with results of the diagnostics, costs of the repair with parts and labour and I got my car back within 24 hrs.Definitely where I will be bringing my car to in the future for maintenance and other worries.

I didn't actually have work done here - got it towed here and they fit me in to diagnose it very quickly on a Monday morning. Since the part that broke was under warranty with my regular mechanic, I went back to them for the work, but the folks at Garcia's were very pleasant to work with and accommodating, and I would consider taking my vehicle there in the future.

My first visit to Garcia's Auto parts, & they were able to fix my car, parts were a little expensive, but overall Miguel was nice, calm, & respectful to explain the process/ price cost, hopefully maybe I'll get a discount next time lol thank you so much guys!!! Dealer wanted to charge me crazy money for a brake job ! Car only has 40k miles ! Took it to Garcia s and they advised on what had to be done and saved me a lot of money !! Always get a second opinion or even better just come here first ! We ve taken both of our cars here for quick repairs - they are fast, honest about what they can and cannot take care of, and the pricing is transparent. On a side note, I was studying while waiting for my car and they offered me a place to write, which was so kind. Do yourself a favor and check out their incredibly wholesome Instagram as well! Garcia s is truly an asset to our community.

Can t believe it s taken me this long to leave a review, it s long overdue.I ve been bringing my vehicles to Garcia s for 8 years now. They are honest, trustworthy, and experienced technicians who take pride in their craft, and their relationship with their customers.I always get a detailed explanation of what the problem is and a full breakdown of parts and labor before any work has been performed. There has also been occasions where I thought something was wrong that would be very costly but they were happy to tell me it was not as serious as I thought. Talk about an honest shop. You don t find those very often, and because of that, I ve been bringing my vehicles there all these years! Not to mention, they don t KILL you on the hourly labor cost or up charge on parts.Whether it s engine work you need, suspension, exhaust, alignment, or just a tire patch, Garcia s pretty much covers all the bases except for specialized trans work (they ll still do fluid).Awesome shop!

I ve had a great experience here! I had two leaky tires two weeks apart, and both times they told me to come in when I called and it was taken care of in 30 minutes. I usually end up leaving my car at a mechanic while I m at work- even for the simple repairs- so it s great to just get it taken care of in the morning. I will definitely be coming here for any future issues!Service: Tires

Had a leak in one of my tires. Gave Garcias a call, they answered quickly, told me they can work on it as soon as I brought it in. I arrived within 15 mins. They took in the car as soon as I arrived. Inspected the tire, found the leak and repaired tire within 20 mins. Excellent service, very friendly, genuine, honest team (gave me a heads up my tread was pretty low, probably need new tires by spring), and great prices. Will be coming back for other services.

Wow, what a great experience. My partner, she had a leaky tire. She s still getting to know the neighborhood. Garcia s was nearby & had very strong reputation & rating so 3:30p on a Saturday I call. They ll take a look, great. They re polite, look you in the eye, they check it out, tire off, tire can be patched, please do it. I wait. It s not a big repair but these guys treat ppl like they appreciate your business. While I wait some women friends of theirs come in & they have a good rapport. So I would feel confident my partner would be fine there. The tire patch has held up, so excellent. Maybe we can stop using the dealer & bring our car business here. These are good people. I've been to Garcia's twice now, once to get my water pump replaced and now for an issue with my tires. They got me sorted quickly and fairly both times and I'll be coming back for future services!They also have an active online chat through Google that you can reach out about potential service times and costs.

I went to Garcia s yesterday for a new battery. Everyone was extremely friendly. They gave me what I needed and didn t try taking advantage of me and trying to make me get unnecessary services done. Very affordable. Will definitely go back and recommend anyone to go there!

Would of given 5 stars but I didn't feel squeezing in someone between my tire change was appropriate or considerate, everyone hates to wait. Otherwise the service and price was good.

This place is now my new auto shop! I found them online when my regular place was full to the next week. Everyone at Garcia s was so helpful, informative, & honest about the work and pricing. Seriously the best mechanic on the block...actually the city! The entire team is amazing! I was referred to Garcias from a good friend of mine and now I send all of my people to them as well. Always a call away if I have any questions about my car and will even recommend local places if they don't offer the service that is needed. Sunday started with a flashing check engine light and car problems. As a relatively new car owner in Chicago I hadn't yet found a trusted mechanic. Well that changed today. Everyone at Garcia's were super warm and welcoming and make you feel like family RIGHT AWAY! they were quick at addressing the issues on my car and quoted a fair price. They were able to get the repairs done in great time, even having to get a part they didn't have in stock at the time. Its worth noting that it is a woman run business which we love!
