Wildly overcharged for replacing an oxygen sensor. Charged $750 for a job that should not cost more than $400.

Good mechanic, took care of my needs, was reasonably priced and did the job quickly. Have gotten general check ups, oil changes, a couple of leaky tires and brought my car in for emergency service when my radiator cracked. Couldn't fix the radiator (whole part needed to be swapped, confirmed by dealership and a second mechanic), but were able to give me a temporary fix to help me get to dealership. Didn't charge me an arm and a leg for it either. All my other service calls went well. All in all, only had positive experiences across the several times I've come.

After I went here for the first time, I knew I would be coming back from now on. These guys are honest and professionals. Prices are reasonable and they know what they are doing. Valentin is very knowledgeable about cars. I am always satisfied with their work.

Beware of price gauging and quoting repairs that has nothing to do with the reason you even brought your car here. The staff will seem quite helpful until you have questions later regarding the work that they quoted and completed and then they will become unavailable to assist you.

Where to begin? If I was to give this auto shop G & R a rating it would be -4 stars. This place is an absolute joke. After settling a price on a preowned 07 911 997 these people said they didn't want my business after I wouldn't give them a $5000.00 deposit on my credit card. I didn't give them my information because they didn't ever send me a sales contract so they wanted my money blindly without me and my wife seeing anything in writing. WHO DOES THAT?! This is an extremely shady practice and I would never recommend them to anyone trying to fix from out of state or at all for that matter! This auto shop does NOT stand up to standards whatsoever. My wife was also very rudely spoken to over the phone when trying to find out why they couldn't Fix the car. (Mind you we were approved for a loan for the full amount of the vehicle!) I believe they didn't want to fix the car because my wife and I got a way better interest rate at our credit union and I think they under priced the vehicle. Either way terrible business sense and we will be writing corporate headquarters in Atlanta and complaining about this awful place in chicago. Please take it from us, do not even waste your time, they are horrendous. Definitely that Mr Valentino!

The most honest and legitimate shop I've been to. 63.50 for a flat tire, replace filter and headlight. They even stayed open late to get my car done. Great friendly service!

Friendly, great customer service, quick repair and reasonably priced. Woke up to a flat tire. Hurried over to the recommended tire repair shops, but they were closed. G&R Auto was right on time.

I went in for a oil change, and after my vehicle was assessed. It was some other work that needed to be done. Prices were reasonable and service was fast and professional. Thanks guys!Raeisha

I give guys 20 stars very professional team great customer service. Very knowledgeable and understand customers and their vehicles. Prices are reasonable.... G & R Auto just found a new customer.

Valentine is a nice guy and he's professional. However their Q&A is terrible. I had to go back a few times after they released my car and said it was finished when it really wasnt. Imagine you have things to do, you make arrangements to pick up your car, have plans thereafter and have to appear beyond irresponsible because you are having car trouble AGAIN. Not good... :p

I've had to go to this place twice so far and both times I've received great customer service from both the owner and the workers. They showed me exactly what was wrong with the car and fixed it for a reasonable price.

I stopped in to get tires check due to a slow leak and Raul and tire specialist looked into the matter. There was no serious issue with tires only that it needed air. Therefore, air put and I was on my way out the door, free of charge. How often does this happen, not often. Thanks to the staff.
