I have been taking my vehicles to Frank's since about 2014. Keith has always done amazing quality repairs and has competitive prices. I highly recommend Frank's Automotive Repair for great service and quality repairs with a smile!

Good reliable mechanics, decent pricing and quality work. I have been coming here for years with all my cars. I have Lexus 300h, Toyota RAV4 and Jeep wrangler. I am always satisfied with their work.

Hands down, the BEST & the COOLEST looking independent mechanic shop you'll find. Keith is a wonderful person who is as honest as the day is long. He's also hard working and does an excellent job communicating with customers. He tells what needs to be done and what can wait. He will not steer you wrong or take advantage of anyone. He wants satisfied long-term customers.When he says "I'll have it done by X", he pulls out all the stops and gets it done. He starts early AM and often is still working late in the evening after other competitors have long gone home just so you get your vehicle back! He's even open on Saturday!You will NOT find anyone better and at a reasonable price. Plus, his new shop on Washington St is so cool, very spacious and so comfortable its worth waiting for your vehicle!We've been bringing our vehicles to Keith for over 15 years. He's kept our older vehicles in top shape, we get hundreds of thousands of miles in service from them.I've tried other shops, their not the same, not even close! I love Keith, his crew, and his family too! Friction free appointments and quality automotive service. I only had basic maintenance done on this day, but it was done quickly and for a fair price. I would go back for maintenance or repair.

Great experience! Went there due to an unknown issues that was making noise from my tire. With in 2 hours called me and let me know what was going on. Fixed the same day and great prices! Keith was super helpful and let me know that everything else was in great shape but the part they needed to repair. Hopefully, I do not need any more service soon, but if I do I will be going back!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

Owner Keith Parks at Frank's Auto is the most knowledgeable and excellent auto mechanic that I have ever had the privilege of meeting and accessing his services. I have an old custom pickup truck that needs specialized attention. Keith was able to sort out all of my truck issues at reasonable costs and within reasonable timeframes. All of this done in a friendly atmosphere and with a smile and a laugh!

Keith is a good and honest guy and someone who I KNOW will do the RIGHT thing. He helped me fix my Ford escape and other cars that was a continuous issue for me. Whatever your issue, big or small, Keith will give you an honest opinion and assessment for it. Great Local Business

The owner, Keith Parks, seems shady and dishonest. Brought our vehicle in for repair, and when we got it back, he had only done partially what he promised to repair. To top that off, other mechanical issues that worked fine before, no longer worked. This was the case after he put his hands on it. When asking him about what he did and did not perform, he appears to lie and deny and is argumentative. DO NOT get your vehicle repaired from him.

The most honest and hard working mechanic I have ever dealt with. 3 cars over 2 years and he has delivered quality work with care each time. Very reasonable pricing. A business you can trust for a change. If I were you, I would give Keith at Franks Automotive your business. Keith is one of the most personable mechanics I have ever done business with! His professionalism, work ethic and honesty is beyond reproach. He was able to move some work around today in order for me to make it to my military duties. Our approach to auto ownership has been to maintain them well to get many years and miles in return. This approach requires an excellent mechanic that conducts his\her business with an honest approach.We have searched for a knowledgeable mechanic that will service, not sell for the 10 years we have lived in the western suburbs. I believe we tried\used 14 different shops before finding Keith Parks at Frank's Automotive Repair.Our search is over and yours could be too. Keith is awesome. He did a flex pipe repair for us that cost about $600 less than what our dealership estimated for the same service. Very honest, super nice, highly recommend!

I stopped in at Frank's just to check it out. I ended up having my muffler repaired/replaced here. They did a great job, extremely professional, quick turn-around, and I was pleasantly surprised with the final cost. Bottom line, I was very satisfied with the level of service, and I won't hesitate to bring my cars back for more service as needed. I used to be a mechanic in another life so I know what's involved with most repairs, and I know when I'm being leveled with. Keith took care of my issue, and was upfront with everything. I highly recommend Frank's Auto Service - great place!

I had planned on doing the overhaul myself so had already purchased calipers, rotors and pads. I received quotes from other service shops and the quote from Frank's was the best. I brought the car in the next morning and it was completed that day. I was allowed to inspect the work. Three weeks later the brakes are solid and working perfectly. I will definitely use Frank's for my next service need.Service: Brakes

He has fair prices and I have never felt pressured into getting unnecessary services. We love Frank! Just kidding this place is actually owned and run by Paul, but he is such a gem! Always great service, great prices, easy scheduling, and good people. As long as I live nearby, I will never get my car serviced anywhere else. We even drop our vehicles here for routine oil changes. Thanks, Paul!

I visited Frank's for the first time today to have a headlight replaced. I had a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely personable and professional. I would recommend this shop for all of your automotive needs. I will definitely return. Ask for Dave. He is amazing and goes above and beyond to provide exceptional service.

We drove 800 miles from Virginia to Chicago for Christmas holidays. 1 hour into the ride the engine started screeching. It was a miracle we made it to West Chicago without the belt snapping. We barely made it to the shop. It was another miracle my sister had a great mechanic who would get us back on the road all in one day replacing the shot serpentine belt assembly. I have used Keith at Frank's Automotive repair for many years. His shop is the only place I take both my cars, a van and a pickup. His prices are fair, his work is excellent. I have recommended him to others in the past and will continue to do so.

Quick & thorough repairs always done right the first time. Very fair prices and an hourly rate that is significantly lower than the average repair shop.The owner Keith is one of the most honest & practical around. He'll find the "true" problem, which is too often much more minor & cheaper than a dealership just over-quoted. Repairs truly are in line with their tagline,"We don't sell. We service". Final note: They work on European vehicles too.

Keith Parks is THE best auto and diesel mechanic in the WORLD! Hands down. You will not find anyone more knowledgeable, friendly, or fun-loving! He is ALWAYS in a good mood, very positive and upbeat but solidly grounded.I have been going to his shop for years. He has become an extremely trusted friend and I have gotten to know him well. He's a great man who loves his family.Keith will never steer you wrong.We need more Keith Parks in this world.

Ive been to Franks Auto in the span of 4 years with two different vehicles; Lexus Is300 and Toyota Camry 2002. What I can say is that the prices are honest and fair, not over charged. Keith is a nice person and everything was done in a timely manner. Plan and budget the time your vehicle for the time it will be in for repairs. I recommend this to others and will be coming back if I need to.
