I have a 1978 Rolls Shadow 2 (purchased new in 1978). Most of the mechanics who have worked on my car have retired through the years and authorized dealers have no clue what to do on these older cars. Also getting parts for my car needs some research and patience (there are a few places here in the states and Europe).I came across European Auto a few years ago and couldn t be any happier. Steves knowledge and ability is beyond my expectation. I have nothing but praise for his talents. From rebuilding my steering rack, putting in a new, modernizing my air conditioning system (compressor etc) rebuilding the carburetors, straightening out the electrical wiring (to many people through the years have created a few problems).I have read some of the negative comments and nothing has to do with Steves or Vics mechanical experience, just petty gripes. To get an appointment for service could be a few days or a few months (you have to have patience), the shop has a few lifts that always have a car on them sometimes for a week or months, depending on parts availability since he takes on older cars (Ferraris, Jaguars, Mercedes, Rolls, Austin Martins etc) were parts are a headache to get. And yes, Steve at times can be a little temperamental, and little abrasive, but I learned this comes from frustration on waiting for parts and customers waiting to bring their cars in for service and want it now.As for me I could not be any happier to find such a excellent, talented and responsible mechanic in this day and age.

Exceptional value for Steve and Vic's unparalleled knowledge and creativity in resolving issues with everything from my rare 912 to my track worthy 986S to my Subaru WRX. I have worked with many shops in 3 states in 25 years. This is hands down the best.

I have been using European Auto for many years now. I have a C300 and they are not only less expensive but honest and very good at what they do. I was turned on to them from a friend that only had good things to say about them. Since I have not idea about anything about cars its nice to have a straight up guy helping me along. Repair shops that are honest are always going to be in my Rolodex

Not impressed with service. I called two days ahead and gave the make and model of my car to ensure they had the right oil filter. They told me they had the filter, come after 9am and it would be done in about an hour. I got there and they said it would be done about 12pm. Ok, I adjusted. Went back at 11:30 hoping they were done. They didn t have the right filter, and it would take till 1pm. Ok, I adjusted. Got there and they charged me for oil change an extra $50 for checking tires and brakes. Why was this not disclosed when I dropped the car off? And why was I never given an estimate in the first place? Also told me I need new brakes for an additional almost $2000. Fine, but I won t be doing it there.

When they say a good mechanic is honest and fair, That applies to these gentlemen. They offer reasonable prices for extreme experience across the few Aston Martin Lagonda's in their bay to an E-Type Jag to our families 360 Modena. Excellent work and honest knowledge on older foreign performance and luxury vehicles. Long time fan of this low key place!

Open time says 8 am, but called the shop to double check. The gentleman on the phone told me to bring my car in at 8:30 am, so I did. Ended up standing around out front until 9am and the shop was empty with barely any lights on. Place almost looked abandoned, perhaps they moved locations? I'm just going to look somewhere else, place looks sketchy.

Very professional people and not afraid to work with any car - even with "oldies"; they are informing you well about the repairs, parts, etc. needed. And the garage itself is beautiful. I can recommend!
