Milton was extremely professional and customer focused. He found a reasonably priced solution to my daughters car challenges. He genuinely cares. He is a breath of fresh air in a car repair industry that many people are skeptical of. I wholeheartedly recommend Milton and Division Auto Clinic for your repair needs.

After multiple attempts to contact them for an estimate I finally get a return call 3-4 days later giving no estimate on my message or appointment time, so I call 2 more days the 2nd day back to back then person answers with a cut and dry attitude hear that I'm a female and charge me double than the actual price, not professional nor business oriented and if you a female they are going to rob you without a gun. #BeVeryCautious even if you are a man with no automotive experience

I had been looking for a mechanic to work on my car that did good reliable work and that wasn't too expensive and honest. I have an older car so I expected a few problems, with the work I needed done they had my car in and out way sooner and way cheaper than the dealership or other places I went too. Milton was polite very informative about what I needed done he gave me options and the price wasn't too bad. I ended up spending more money than from the original diagnosis because I needed to replace the parts that appeared to be ok in the beginning that ended up being bad and a recommendation he gave me I chose to get it done while he still had my car. I will definitely do business here again and highly recommend this shop to friends and family

Milton is the absolute best. I've taken my car in to him a few times now and he is always incredibly thorough and helpful when I need a repair. I have never felt taken advantage of, he lays it out to you straight. Highly recommend!

Milton is the man when it comes to everything you need in a severely honest and fair mechanic! I was only visiting town and he was able to help get my car in and fixed right away within the time frame he mentioned. Plus you can t beat his prices! All the Chicago homies come hither here! Was referred by a dear friend who only lets him work on her car if she ever has any issues and he lives up to her words! It was such a pleasant experince. Thanks, again, Milton!!

This was my go to auto shop while I lived in Chicago. They were always very transparent, had fair pricing, and even offered rewards for repeat customers. For someone like me who doesn't understand cars they really were able to explain things clearly and simply so I could make the most informed decision. Everyone I spoke with either in person or on the phone was extremely professional and kind. I remember Milton specifically but everyone there was great. The only reason I stopped going is because I moved out of the city. Please support this small business! They deserve it!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

As a queer person, visiting the mechanic is always... "odd". Milton has always been very kind, patient, and fair. I appreciate the explanations of repairs and options for searching for used parts. I never feel obligated to move forward with a repair and it's usually cheaper (or fair) compared to other shops. Division Auto Clinic is a neighborhood spot and had been in Humboldt Park for years. I would recommend it. Good luck!

This is the worse mechanic shop we have taken our car to. We went to do some business in that area, saw the shop went in and asked Milton if he could repair our 2006 Maxima, he said bring the car. Tripple A dropped the car off going on 4 months now and Milton has yet to repaired the car or even picking up the phone when we call to find out what is the problem. We are in the process of calling the authorities on him. Stopped by his shop on Saturday 4/23/22, at 10am, the shop was closed and our car was not on the outside. .Need our car, too much mileage is going on our BMW due to Milton.

Called at the last minute for a coolant flush for a long road trip I was heading on the next day. I have a 2018 high roof ford transit and was having trouble finding somewhere in the city that would take it in for an oil change and coolant flush due to its large size. The man on the phone was the owner. I appreciated he gave me a fair price, listened well, and was very accommodating. I felt ready to hit the road after stopping here and will come back if I m in Chicago again!

If I could give Milton & the DAC crew 10 stars I would. 5 years ago, I lived near Division Auto Clinic and my 05 Lexus RX330 needed brakes repaired. Milton tells you exactly what needs to be done, has never tried to "upsell me", has saved me THOUSANDS of dollars over the years.My 05 Lexus had around 150K Miles when I first started going to DAC. Since then I have had problems with Radiator, Power Steering Lines, Clock Spring, Entire Suspension, Major Rust Problems, Collision Issues, Oil Changes, Belt Problems etc. I have a friend who runs the repair center at a local Lexus Dealer, I ONLY take it to Lexus when I need an Alignment. My Lexus mechanic will run the diagnostics after I go to Milton and he is beyond impressed with the work Milton's crew has done.I am currently running strong at 237K Miles and Milton provides me with true honesty of the pro's and con's of pumping money into the car vs buying a new one and the cheap routes of keeping my Lexus alive.I currently live 5 miles North and will only drop my Lexus off at Division Auto Clinic. Milton is the best in the business. With his help, my Lexus dealer mechanic said I should be able to easily reach 350K Miles. I've seen high end Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Range Rover etc. being working on in his shop. IYKYK!!!! Milton explained everything so could understand. Work was done in a timely manner and reasonably priced. It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, but I think we did.

Milton is trustworthy and always gives a fair price. After going to a couple mechanics who try to swindle a client, division auto clinic was the first I could trust and stick with the past few years. I Highly recommend his shop.

5 years of outstanding service to my now 23 year-old car -- Division Auto is my one-stop shop, and Milton (the owner) is my mechanic -- You should be so lucky! I feel moved to let others know of the outstanding work of Division Auto Clinic, and owner Milton. I've been going since they opened, 5 years ago. Throughout the years, Milton has seen that my well-used car runs as reliably as any new car. You can imagine the maintenance requirements -- and he has done everything. His services are better than reasonable. He provides the expected professional details, but he'll also search for used parts that work. Milton is consistently reliable -- making arrangements for me drop off my car before I go to work (before he opens up); he calls me with estimate and discussion, and always delivers on-time for my after-work pick-up. I've relied on Milton when my car broke down at night, in a snowstorm, on the other side of town. Milton answered his cell, located a reliable tow truck driver, who arrived quickly, drove me home, delivered the car to Milton, who fixed it the next morning. (I also recommended Milton to a co-worker when her car broke down - same great service.) Also: Milton is the only mechanic on located on Paseo Boricua, (Division St between Western and California), and he contributes to support community efforts. I've only had two mechanics in my entire life. After the first retired, I was blessed that the local business association recommended Division Auto Clinic.

Initially having to reach out to a large handful of mechanics and garages to get an idea of my Toyota's potential engine issues and possible costs, this business was the first to give me an informed answer after asking diagnostic questions. I do my own regular auto maintenance. But when I need major work done on my vehicle or I don't have time, I can count on Milton to take care of my issues. I know his not going to add additional work that the vehicle doesn't need and do the job right the first time. Cheers!

Great and fast service. I booked an appointment for oil change only, but I had a few other concerns that Milton inspected for free and answered all my concerns. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would definitely be coming back.

Me and my partner would always go and take our car to him until recently he was trying to charge him nearly $350 or so for a part that didn't cost that much just for "labor" to fix the car. My partner just took his car to get checked out ONLY to see what was going on and once Milton told him what the problem was and how much it was going to cost my partner changed his mind and said that he wasn't going to be fixing it because it was to much. Milton was being resistence and kept trying to change the price and my partner still said no he didn't want to fix it; to then milton claiming that he kinda already was fixing it and changing the piece clearly my partner said NOT to change. He ended up charging my partner $150 for something he didn't want to get fixed and now here we are TODAY the same piece he didn't want change and milton supposedly "replaced" messed up and now no one at the "Clinic" is answering the phone when my partner called there at 8:30ish and 9 in the morning. He is very upset at the fact that he was robbed of his money for a part clearly milton did NOT FIX! Never coming here again!

I live in the neighborhood and have always used this location for UHaul rentals and auto repairs. I can't think of a nicer and more professional group of people to do business with.Today, I came in to ask for help because I locked myself out of my home. The owner was kind enough to look up locksmiths for me on the internet, allowed me to use his business phone to call them, AND was even willing to answer phone calls from the locksmith while I was waiting at home for the locksmith. I don't think I've ever had a stranger be so kind to me and so willing to help in my entire life. As a small business owner, I think this business is a perfect model of how to treat people and how to serve and improve the community.

It's difficult to find a great mechanic you can trust but my experience here was great, I needed a brake job and they showed me exactly what I needed and did the job in no time. I did notice that this place is new to the neighborhood they do a great job. I will definitely return if I need anything else done.
