I recently took my 12-year-old Acura RDX to Detail Doctor, and I was thoroughly impressed with the transformation. Aldo did an amazing job on my 2022 Prius. Looks better than the day I picked it up new. He is blessed to have his wife working with him whom I also must thank. She found $40 cash in my car and of course it was returned to me when I came to pick up the car. Their dedication to Quality and Integrity in the way they do business and detail cars is a rarity. Highly recommended. Aldo takes pride in his work and it shows - the car looks better than when the dealer delivered it. Aldo patiently explained different options for me to choose what worked best for me. He provided a very fair quote and stuck to it. A little over a month ago, my car was in a situation where gallons of water soaked through the entire floor. We tried to dry it up as much as we could, but weeks later, an awful smell started to develop - I suspected it was mold - something I could not expose my family (or any other being) to. Last Thursday, I have researched detailing shops in Chicago, and I have found Detail Doctor to be near to where we live and also read enough outstanding reviews, which brought me to the decision to contact him right away. The appointment was made for the next morning. So Friday I took the car to this shop and Mr. Aldo confirmed that it was mold indeed. He took the time to discuss all details including the time needed to fix the problem, and the other, inevitable risk (RUST) had I waited any longer, because there was no way to remove all the water from the sponge underneath the floor - everything had to be replaced. In addition to answering all the questions and being punctual, he did much more than I expected. The car was ready for pick up on Tuesday evening (yesterday), instead of today, as previously planned. Mr. Aldo applied a layer of protection on the metal frame of the floor prior to installing the new sponge and the new carpet floor. He steamed the seats and walls and made the interior look and smell like new, including the trunk and engine. He went above and beyond by removing rust and painting over a dented scratch by the gas tank, which formed due to a hit and run while my car was parked on the street about two years ago, and I never had the chance to take care of it before. Mr. Aldo went above and beyond again by fixing the driver's mirror's plastic frame, which was also damaged to pieces while my car was parked on the street three weeks ago. What I did not mention was that I did not have time to sort and remove everything from the car prior to dropping it off, and he ensured that everything was neatly organized and carefully placed inside the trunk, glovebox compartment and armrest. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs detailed work done on their car. It was a pleasure doing business with him, and I would definitely take my car there again whenever needed. Thanks again, Mr. Aldo for making our car safe for our children and ourselves to breathe in!

I had a full detail here inside and out, with ceramic coating. I ve never seen my car so clean before. The dust falls right off because of the ceramic coating. The owner is very personable and kind. I come here 3x a year because the car looks better than when I bought it from the dealership!

My car flooded after heavy rain in September and my car was in rough shape + smelled terrible. After reading similar reviews, I was willing to try a new shop to get the my car the TLC it needed. Aldo was so quick to answer all of my questions and worked with my insurance to come up with an estimate and get it approved. Total turn around time was 7 days with dropping the car off, getting the claim created and approved, and the work being completed, but it was beyond worth the wait! There was about 13 gallons of water saturating my car under the rugs and mold had begun growing. My car has never been cleaner and smelled better. Aldo cleared out the water and shampooed the entire interior of the car. I decided to give Detail Doctor a try after reading the many positive reviews I read on Google. I met with Aldo who gave looked at my vehicle (a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee) and gave me a quote, describing the work he would do in detail. I made an appointment for a few days later.I have to say, the outcome far exceeded my expectations in every way. He did an absolutely fantastic job.... restoring my SUV to look like brand new!!!What I really appreciated was the attention to detail that Aldo took with my car. He made me feel like he was caring for his own vehicle. It was obvious to me that he takes great pride in his work. He's also extremely professional. It was refreshing to have such excellent customer service on top of great work -- something you don't see very often these days.There are plenty of options out there for car detailing and I admit, he's not the cheapest place I could have gone. But, you get what you pay for.... and I am MORE THAN satisfied with the value that I received and will definitely be returning in the future.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Did a great job on my 08 Camry. I had this car for a while and never had it detailed. Was skeptical because its an old car. But I was amazed by the results and did not mind paying what was quoted. Ihv had other dealers quote the same price with far worse reviews. Aldo was my best bet and I do not regret it. Will Definitely get the job done again if needed and recommend anyone. Also provided same day service on request. Thank you Aldo!!

Between owning a dog and years as nanny of two small and messy children, my car took an absolutely beating, but now my car looks brand new! Truly better than it did when I drove it out of the dealership parking lot. Aldo was so kind and generous. He truly is INCREDIBLE at what he does and I would recommend him to anyone. I accidentally left my windows, rolled down and my sunroof open For a number of days. Rainy days as it turns out. Downpours soaked the inside of my car. Filled with twigs and leaves. Once I was able to get out and roll up the windows and sunroof, it s sad for a number of days almost 2 weeks. It was wet and started to stink, and I could start to see mold growing. I was worried that it might be too late to save. I searched for detailers near me on Google and found Aldo a.k.a. Detail Doctor2. He gave me a price that was reasonable. The battery was dead, and he referred me to someone who could jump it. And once it got started, I started to drive to his place, but made the mistake of stopping at a currency exchange to get my city sticker I was in there for a very very short period of time, and when I came out, the battery was dead dead dead. I called Aldo and told him I was going to be later than I thought. I was going to have to call for another job. He insisted on driving down and charging it for me. Insisted.And once we got the car to his garage, he started working on it. He had his mechanic buy an install a new battery and he made the insides look like it just came from the factory. Beautiful. He even did some touchups to the outside like he polished. The headlights are dressed. The tires cleaned up all the plastic in the wheel wells. Aldo does amazing work and he's a great guy. A series of unfortunate events left my car with a bit of an interior mold issue. Aldo new exactly how to handle it and had all the right tools for the job. My car is not only mold free but looks brand new inside and out. Cannot recommend enough!

Renewing my 25 year old trusty, albeit a bit rusty, minivan, hoping to somehow roll out another 100k.Recently plugged a hidden little rust hole, much, much longer time than it should have been, roof rail water leak just inches behind the windshield, and am also adding some wiring for a sound system & phone charging upgrade ... so, pulled up the water & rust-at-the-bottom-of-the-seat-frames, and whatever else after 25 years stained carpets & mats, considered attempting to clean them myself, but instead, after he quoted me a very fair price, turned them over to the Detail Doctor ... and, wow, they've got a new lease on life.As if that weren't enough, the Detail Doctor also referred me to a mechanic, David Grande, who threw on new front rotors & pads, and a new muffler, and that's all working out well.Thank you Detail Doctor.

The owner or manager Mr. Aldo and his team did a great job to my SUV detailed and it looks like brand new, restored the paint, head lights faded, motor, interior leather seats etc. Good value and its worth it. Excellent service and exceptional results. I wanted to have my SUV ceramic coated to enhance the shine, remove swirl marks, and better protect the paint surface. After shopping around, then reading reviews for Detail Doctor 24, I decided to give them a go. Aldo did an amazing job inside and out. The ceramic coating produced a mirror like shine and imperfections disappeared. Aldo loves what he does and it definitely shows in his work. If you need any car service done, you should definitely come here. The owner Aldo is very friendly, professional, and most importantly, very good at what he does. I had a bad mold problem inside the car and other places will either not clean it at all, or do the bare minumum and then give you your car back. Aldo was very accomodating with my problem and reassured me that he will clean everything. When I got my car back, I was surprised. Not only did Aldo clean all the mold, he fixed the bumps and scratches around my car and cleaned my engine bay. He really took care of my car like it was his own and did not charge me for the extra work he put in.

Aldo was amazing! Very accommodating and affordable. We had cement splatter from a construction company and he was able to get everything out and make our car look brand new. He could even tell the car had been painted before (from a previous accident), which just confirms he knows what he's doing! He was fast, very friendly, and extremely competent. car felt as close to new as possible after detailing. exterior was shiny and polished, wheels and wheelwells got serious attention. under the hood looked brand new. seats, mats, dash looked and smelled great.if i HAD to search for criticisms: some scratches around door handles remained (but can't be removed with detailing), some hard-to-reach spots in doorjambs were not spotless, couldn't get the price until i dropped the car off (but owner needed to assess the car). these aren't actual cons, just to help readers set their expectations.Services: Engine detailing, Auto detailing

Aldo did a fantastic job detailing my Nissan! I cannot speak of him highly enough. Throughout all of our interactions, he was kind, thoughtful, and clear, and I really enjoyed the service. I tend to joke that my car feels like a tin can on wheels (especially on Lake Shore), but I honestly felt proud driving my car after it's visit to the Detail Doctor! Deserves 6 stars! Wow what an operation, top notch skill level made my 2014 Honda Accord look like new. Interior smells so clean i couldn't believe it! Exterior work is another level
