They do not want to be bothered with any work. This particular location have individuals who would make up Costco policies to refuse work. If you press on showing the policies on Costco website, then they had no choice but to do the work at another scheduling appointment since we spent all the time going back and forth during the first scheduled appointment time. Terrible customer service. Never again.

Dropped my tire off to get it repaired, paid in advance and was told that they can put it on the following day. I called ahead and they said the tire is ready. When I got there, they just handed it to me and there would be a little wait. I asked how long they said six hours. and at that point they would have been closed. I just found a parking spot, and put the tire on myself

Living in the west loop for more than 20 years, I have never encountered a service attitude as bad as Costco Tire. I remember your name PABLO on your uniform. Your attitude is really, really, really bad. You are really not suitable for you current job.

Just called for a Quote on some tires . Loser on the phone has no customer service skills. If you don t like your job , look for something else. Will shop somewhere else. Learn to listen and don t be a prick about it . We all don t change tires for a living(nothing bad about that)

Terrible attitude from the employees at the tire center. Over the phone and in person. Sad because suburb locations have some of the best customer service. Will not go back to this location again for tires.

Brought my car in for a flat. Get a call 2 hour later saying they can't fix it because it has a spacer on it. They would have to have taken the tire off already to know the spacer is on it. I took it to a different tire shop and they Said there was a gash on the side. Costco just didn't want to warranty my tire and let me drive off with a gash my tire. Very safe!!

It s my first time here. Seems fine. Everyone has been very nice. Wish they did other kinds of car service too and took appointments for service. I had no idea how expensive tires are!

Went to get tire checked because my sensor was going off. I was told there was a 2 to 3 hour wait. This was a Tuesday evening around 5pm.I ended up putting some air in my tire myself and thankfully made it home and had to take my care to another auto shop. Seems as though the guy standing in the cashier booth,alone,no line of people could have given me some help. I'm not a helpless female but good thing I knew how to put the air in.

Made a 9:30 appointment for a tire plug. Arrived early, then waited in line so long I was "late" and had to wait two hours past my appointment time for service. They told me that after I paid my 'non refundable inspection fee'. Was it cheaper than a normal tire center? Sure, if I placed no value on my own time.Edit: they must have felt bad about it and called me a few minutes later to tell me they couldn't do the plug. At least I didn't have to wait as long as they suggested I might.

Total tire blowout resulted in new tires required all around. They were quick; faster than originally thought. My request had several unusual things they worked around. Good team. Good price.

UPDATE 7/19: People who haven t worked in the service industry, I don t want to here it. This is Costco people, not Mercedes Benz of Chicago! You wanna complain about waiting for a free tire rotation? Go pay for it then. These employees are caring and working hard so that you don t have to wait so long and on top of that they don t get paid as much as serviceman at dealership. I love this Costco!12/18 The supervisor Luis M provided great customer service! Even though they were super busy and should have left work at 6pm, the supervisor Luis M took the time to take care of me and took initiative handle the issue with my tire. Also, I have seen some previous complain about price. You get what you pay for and that is quality service! Thank you Costco on Ashland for having a great team!

The employees here are hard to deal with, always in a hurry, and pretty rude. Want to get a 'free' tire rotation? Show up and wait in a long, long line of people getting their tires installed for hours and hours. Or schedule an appointment between 1-4pm M-F. Have a job? Too bad, so sad.Hopefully the way they interact with customers at the desk/on the phone is not indicative of the way they work on cars, because if it is they have zero care or consideration doing so.

Brought a tire in to be looked at/checked for leaks and was told it would cost $15 just to look at. After waiting 30 mins (and this was with an appointment slot), they wouldn't even look at it due to the tire having a 'damaged sidewall', and was told I needed a new tire. I asked to see the tire, and when shown, they couldn't find the bulge without running their hand around it and saying 'here it is' to my disbelief as I felt nothing running my hand on it. I brought it in to another tire shop, and was told the tire had no defects, and had some corrosion around the wheel/tire seem. They resealed it for $13 and I've been leak free since. Poor experience at Costco Tire Center.

Always a wait... because the person checking u in is usually the one of several working on a vehicle...had an issue at this location about 2 years ago with a racist employee, avoiding this person of color, and over looking me , not waiting on me and only greeting the WHITE customer's. When I spoke up and said I was next, he walked away to the service area. I was told by his co-workers to report the situation bc it was not his first racial hostile situation. And I did, but with no follow up by Costco.

Always short on staff, free fill ups and repairs that you can t take advantage of because they are always short on staff. You get what you pay for although would argue not worth any savings really. Don t bother, was a mistake getting tires here in the first place.

It was great the rep Eric in the tire center was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that I was well informed about possible purchases and even helped me through several options including another store, as well as online buying. Great experience!

Good work. Some give good customer service and other don't. Some are helpful and others are annoyed that they have to talk to you. Great prices on installation.

Kind of annoying that every time our cars are taken to get the tires serviced, it's always a two trip commitment. Trip one: fix the issue. Trip Two: fix the tire pressure sensors they broke, and, if you are fed up with them, to pick up the trash they left in your car. Every. Single. Time.

these poor guys are working to the bones. understaffed and doing the best they can on the worst day possible. kudos to the boys at the tire center on 12/31 @ 2pm.

Would not accept any more vehicles at 11:30 in the morning and the customer service person behind the desk was extremely rude about it. I suggest going anywhere else.

Only had to pay 10 dollars to repair a tire with a nail. Might have to wait for sometime, probably go somewhere else and come back in that time. Otherwise cheap.
