Sebastian was the best! We just came over and even had our older kids with us. He showed all of the exotic cars and did a fantastic job sharing info and specs. If you are in the market start here!

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! my car was stolen on NOVEMBER 30,2023 and the shop owner with the glasses refused to pay or any damages,my belongings,nd keys he told the police he wasn t paying for anything because It s not his problem I asked for his business license and insurance he failed to provide that information he have a bad attitude and kept hanging the phone up saying it s not his problem

This place is the real deal. I recently moved to the neighborhood & needed some immediate car work done. They were able to get me in same-day and the car was finished after the part came in the following day. The mechanic working on my car even skipped his lunch break to help me! The customer service is excellent. It's really hard to find a car mechanic you trust, and I've never felt safer. Super reasonable pricing & knowledgeable staff. My check engine light went on a couple months after service & they took a look for free - I've never left a car place without being charged. They take care of their clientele instead of gauging them because they know return business is the most important. Thank you guys!! You're the best. Won't go anywhere else.Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Rick and company do a great job. They did an awesome & thorough job on the clutch for my Infiniti (not the simplest job on a rusty Midwest chassis) and communication was excellent throughout even texting me pictures in the process. Not pushy, and they reminded me to BREAK in the clutch! I definitely would have forgotten. Recommend these guys.

Every experience with Chicago Motors has been phenomenal. Rick and the team are such a solid crew of communicators and technicians. I've brought our SUV in on a number of occasions and feel like the recommendations, prices and turn around time on the repairs are thoughtful and super fair. I dig this place. I had a really great experience here with Rick. They're not trying to rip you off or take your money like most car places. I came in with an engine light message and some other messages showing on my dash board. They did a diagnostic and fixed the issue. Rick did recommend another service if i get the same issue again. I can appreciate him saying i think it's resolved but if the problem comes back up we will do this. Most places would have just taken my money. I totally RECOMMEND Rick and his crew. Chicago Motors saved my car for less than half of what other companies quoted me. I had an engine problem that most places said would cost 4-7k to replace. Joseph and the team at Chicago Motors took time to investigate my engine and concluded they could actually go in and fix it, and they did for only 1.7k. I thought my car was a goner or that I d be paying for this repair for years. I m so grateful that won t be the case, thanks to these talented and helpful folks. I highly recommend their services, especially if you have a complex/expensive issue with your car.

This place is amazing! Besides the fact that they have great prices, they have amazing customer service, and the staff is amazing. I don't think anybody likes investing money in their car and not get that they actually paid for. The mechanics are always very honest with me and they make sure if i come I'm with an issue, i wont be coming back again from the same issue. I've changed my breaks before at a different places but nobody has ever done the job they did. Everybody needs their car on a daily basis and these mechanics will make sure to give you your car back in no time but that doesn't mean they will not pay attention to what they're doing. I've had great experiences here. If i could, I'd give this place more than 5 stars.

They say that old friends are the best friends. Well, that's how I feel about my older 2000 VW Passat. I've always enjoyed that car from the day I got it. Unfortunately, my old friend was in serious need of some professional mechanic-love. Chicago Motors Auto Service gave just that! They provided truly awesome work and service.Service was excellent and truly better than anywhere I've taken any car I've owned. Rick Miranda, the Service Advisor, was open, honest, and let me know every step of the work my options, and always helped me find the most cost effective approach for the work.The work I required was to resolve a serious and long-term issue on an older car that no dealership or other mechanic shop had been able to resolve. Luck? Maybe. But I attribute it to careful and professional service and attention to detail.On top of getting the job done, the mechanics suggested several approaches to resolving the problem and ALWAYS suggested the least expensive approach. I'll add that the least expensive and successful approach was more than a thousand dollars under the dealership s estimate for 'minimum starting point.'My old friend and I are back on the road and have put another thousand miles on the odometer without a hitch. All the repairs were perfect. I am definitely a delighted customer. My guess is that you will be too!

Let's be honest, nobody really wants to have to go to a mechanic and spend money on car repairs... but it's just one of those things we have to deal with. It's always been important to me to find a place that is honest, knowledgeable and friendly. I remember when I first called, Rick was extremely personable and welcoming. I appreciate that. I have been back 3 times since for different things and been pleased each time. They do good work, they are fair and Rick laughs at my jokes. That's the trifecta for me.

I definitely recommend these guys; they're super helpful and patient. They towed my car and diagnosed it for a decent price, and did not pressure me into making a decision. Not only that, but they kept my car in their garage until I was ready to move forward. Really appreciated that since I needed time to purchase a new vehicle. Anyway, I'm very thankful I was referred to do business with them.

As a woman who has felt taken advantage of by mechanics in the past, I did my best to trust these guys and they have earned it. Joseph was quick to reach out after I inquired online. Rick explained things without patronizing my mechanical knowledge and definitely gave me control on what work I wanted done on my Tiguan. My repair took a bit longer than anticipated, it happens, but I never felt like they were just trying to get my car out of their garage. I'm happy I looked up a VW specialist and found these guys. Good customer service for a mechanic shop. Will return.

We came from 3 hrs away to purchase a car at a dealership. I took it to Chicago motors for an inspection 1/2 before their technicians went home. They still took the car in and performed the full comprehensive 1 hour inspection staying late to complete it. I would highly recommend for any service needs.

My work truck broke down in the middle of my work day. It wouldn't turn on at all. Tried getting a jump that didn't work. So I called my neighborhood mechanic Rick and they were able to get a tow truck to me within 30 min to tow my truck to there shop. They diagnosed my truck right away and were able to get the part locally. They had my truck fixed within a few hours. These guys are reliable, quick and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

"The Best or nothing..." means exactly that to Chicago Motors. My ride, a C300, runs better, no the Best, it has since I took it to them for the 60k spark plug replacement. First time I've taken it to a non dealership for service, but it won't be the last. I highly recommend this shop for all the best mechanical service and nothing but the Best!

After a long day, my car decided to die on me. With the help of Joseph & his team not only did they repair my car--they also quoted me accurately. They were quick to answer any questions I had about my service and I was on my merry way. Because of my long day, Joseph's daughter (the owner) Joanna gave me a lift home. I had a lot of belongings with me and it was also raining. This little touch of going the extra mile is fantastic service. Thank you Chicago Motors Auto Service for helping me out to the fullest.

First time customer ,and definitely coming back ,and highly recommend them. My car stopped and would not go anywhere, I thought it was the transmission, so I called other places and was told to bring it in and was even quoted before it was even looked at. When I called CHICAGO Motors, Joseph assured me that without physically looking at the car he could not give me ah quote, but mentioned possibilities on why my car would not drive based on the information I gave him over the phone, even mentioned from ah quick fix to an extreme case scenario. Upon having the car towed (arranged by Joseph within 30 min.) and inspected, turns out it was ah broken drive shaft, the car is fixed and handles like new again, I am definitely satisfied and happy at the professional work done.Thank you CHICAGO motors

Outstanding customer service. Just had my 2010 Mercedes ML350 in for some brake work, tune up and electrical wiring fix on a turn signal. Very professional and very clean shop. Joe was fantastic! This is your spot if you have a German vehicle. These guys have been around for 30+ years and are the real deal! They use OEM parts too.

I moved into the area about 24 years ago, and ever since then I've always seen this place open. Took my audi a5 to another shop and they quoted me over 5000 in repairs and I was shocked. I had seen the great reviews on google about this place but I was afraid that because they have such expert mechanics, it would be out of my budget. Well I was wrong and I'm so glad I came into this place. The 5k in repairs turned out to be a 200 repair at this place. I will never go anywhere else, and they have a customer for life in me. Do yourself a favor and come here to get great work at a cheap price. My car runs flawlessly now

Your search for your forever auto service provider ends here. I've owned Mercedes / Audi & BMW oh my. In all of my years of ownership the inevitable service light makes its dreaded appearance driving me to the dealership for a quote and Chicago Motors for a second opinion. The jobs at Chicago Motors always came in much lower and the jobs completed at the promised time. If you're looking for professional quality care for your vehicle and don't have time to deal with the stress and headaches of the dealership then Chicago Motors is your destination. Try this place once and you'll never have to search for another auto service provider.

Rick and his team fixed a recurring problem on my Volvo XC70 that I thought was unfixable. I couldn't be more satisfied with the service, communication and ultimate result of their work on my car. It feels great to have such a trustworthy, expert shop in the neighborhood.

A trustworthy Mercedes repair shop in Chicago IL. I took my 1995 s320 Mercedes in because it was having acceleration issues and Alex was able to pinpoint the problem right away and quoted me a reasonable price to fix. While I was there they the inspected my car for free and found minor issues and which they tool care of them for me. So, if you need some one you can trust then Chicago motors in Chicago is the place to go

Chicago Motors is the only place to take your car. Why? Because they're the best mechanics. Very friendly and know how to do business! Took my VW and had the engine replaced. Car runs better than before! I will not take my car anywhere else. Thank you guys!!

Rick and the crew here always do an amazing job. I have a 2011 BMW that I ve been bringing to him for years! Always knowledgeable. They quickly get you the info and then get to work. Quality service.

Wow!! Great service would be a understatement!!! Joseph the owner and Rick the shop manager this place is amazing. My Volkswagon was in 2 shops for the length of a year prior to coming to chicago motors to the tune of $5,600 and still couldn't fix issues.. Brought my car to chicago motors they diagnosed all the issue's it had plus the ones these so called professional shops created! In the end Chicago motors replaced my engine. Car is running fantastic!! Thanx Guys!!

After taking my car to the dealer and learning how much the charged to fix my car, I went nuts trying to find a better quote. Several dealers varied in their prices, Then I called Chicago Motors and there was no question as to who would fix the vehicle.they beat the dealers quote by 700 dollars.and it is a classy place with great people running it.

I've never had a bad experience with this shop. My brother took his car to them and when he gave it to me they were the only people I would let work on it. You usually don't need an appointment with this shop and if they have to keep your car they have an agreement with Enterprise to get you a rental.
