Worst service, unprofessional and rude office staff. Held my car for 22 days and didn t do ANYTHING. Lied repeatedly over the phone to hold the car charging $150 daily storage fees. This place is a SCAM. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CAR.Even after I terminated service with them and paid this outrageous storage bill the refused to let the tow truck remove my car to bring it to a legitimate show. Seriously sketchy. Do not get tricked into their scam or a fake business.

I had a great experience and would wholly recommend the Chicago Auto Recon Body Shop for those in need of repairs. Our car had some dents in the body of the vehicle and the shop took care of it in a timely matter and did a fantastic job - it looks brand new. They also took care of everything talking with the insurance company which was nice in that we didn't have to put in a lot of effort on that end with getting the repairs taken care of. I also felt that they went above and beyond in helping us out with our vehicle; giving us advice on our car in addition to what they were working on in the first place. Very friendly staff and would definitely return for anything else in the future.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, General carpet cleaning, Wiper blade installation

Avoid this place at all costs, there are auto shops who are actually pleasant. This place was irritating to work with due to their customer service which they will blame you for being bad at their service and mostly for their work which work was never done after the car was released. Save the trouble and go to another body shop who is honest about their work and actually does the work.

The owner Tony loves to yell in your face. Probably how he yells to his workers Very rude. They try to get more money out of you. On the inside they have prices but on ur invoice it s something else. Very wrong way to run a business. Don t take your car here takes about 5 months to get one little thing fixed

I had a great experience with Chicago Auto Recon. The car repairs look great and I am happy with the work. They replaced a damaged mirror and some sizable scratches on the side of my car. My car was done in 3 weeks, which was in line with their initial estimate.They advocated on my behalf with my insurance company (Progressive) to ensure that the things I wanted included in the claim were actually covered. They communicated directly with my insurance company so I didn t need to worry about it. Magda was helpful and communicative throughout.I will note that both Progressive and Chicago Auto Recon mentioned that they had some troubles working together in the past. I had no issues with my claim, but if you have Progressive you may want to consider another shop.Services: Painting, Auto side window replacement, Body & Trim

Very professional and responsive experience from start to finish. Magda and her team are super knowledgeable about all aspects of auto body work and the related claims process, and she walked me through each step. I had an unexpected complication in my end and they stepped up to make sure everything worked out. The car looks better than new.

I received an interior and exterior auto detail. I dropped it off in the morning and it was already complete by end of day. The car looks amazing, and the inside looks better than when I originally bought it. I would highly recommend them for any auto services.Edit: I have since used Chicago Auto Recon for passanger door side swipe repair. They went out of their to get me the best possible repair, not just surface level. They worked with the insurance company to ensure they got everything they needed to do a thorough repair that went beyond want the insurance company wanted to do at first. I got my car back with the door repaired looking good as new. I would highly recommend them if you need auto repairs, they won't do just the minimum.Edit 2: I have since went back for another detail, this time for an SUV that had years of pet transportation on it. After 1 day I got it back looking brand new, as if the pet was never in there. Can't recommend the detail service enough.Service: Auto detailing

Words cannot describe how grateful I was to find this place. The same day I arrived to Chicago to move from Texas my car's bumper got really messed up. I took the car here and was greeted by excellent costumer service from Magda that went above and beyond to get my car fixed and guiding me through the entire process dealing with the insurance company. Tony and the entire team are very experienced and they did not only fix my car but also had it looking brand new. Thank you to the entire team at Chicago Auto Recon for taking care of my ride and going above and beyond to make a happy ending out of a terrible situation!

My story is long and crazy but Chicago Auto Recon was there for it every step of the way. They dealt with an insurance company who didn t want to pay out and were patient with me. I called at least 5-7 times a week to get updates and they always answered or returned my calls promptly. I don t know much about cars but Magda and Tony were amazing at explaining what was happening. They spent countless hours dealing with a horrible insurance company and fixed up my car to make it look brand new! Thank you Chicago Auto Recon!

Best Customer Service I've experienced hands down!! I brought my car to this shop for an insurance claim after it was involved in a hit and run. The entire team at Chicago Auto Recon went above and beyond to ensure that I received the best service. When our insurance company kept giving us the run around, the team at Chicago Auto Recon kept it real and took the time to explain every process and detail. I would definitely use this shop for any vehicle repairs in the future, the quality of service and honesty they provide is hard to find. They make the best interest of the customer their priority.

Took my car here for an insurance claim and to get other things added to my car. The staff at this place have excellent customer service. The owner makes sure that all work gets done. This shop is also good with handling insurance companies and making sure they have your back to get all the things needed to fix on your car. I would recommend anyone take their car here for any service (whether it s body work or mechanical). Window tint and Rim paint came out great as well as the body work on my car. I love my car again. Thanks to Chicago Auto Recon for a job well done.

I took my car here following a hit-and-run accident. They did a great job of making sure my insurance company get all of the accurate damage information during the repair. As a result, I had them do some long overdue work that my car was needing. I took two different vehicles here for tire repair. All of the staff were extremely nice! They were very professional and saw to my needs right away, giving me options and explaining the work. Wonderful service, I will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone. Great job!

I went in with my vehicle to get a quote for a few of their services. I was told the owner would call me back with a quote. I called three in a three week span asking if I could get my quote. They would put me on hold and nobody ever answered or called me back. I guess they don t need customers or my business.

Hands down best auto repair shop in all of Chicago I ve ever had work done at. Professional, experienced and super excellent work. Super friendly staff and owner that pays attention to detail and ALWAYS goes above and beyond to make sure your car s work is done at the highest level and quality and the customer is happy. I can t recommend Chicago auto recon enough, you won t regret getting your auto work done here!

I brought my car to get outside detail for some minor scratches and a couple of chips, they corrected everything and also applied ceramic coating and looks beautiful, also the young lady that I spoke with was very professional and informative, thank you for your services

I have been in this high standard body shop a couple of times and the quality jon they do there is very professional. The owner and the staff are very on point and the job is incredible nice. I will always come back if I have a problem with my vehicle.In a side note: they fight for you with the insurance.I highly recommend it! Flat tire at work, on Christmas Eve. Got ahold of Chicago auto recon before they closed. Too late to repair and tire being un drivable, Tony let me keep my van until after holiday. A couple of days later, Magda worked with me to find a set of tires that worked within my budget. They installed the tires, the next day!For being a first time customer and my dealings with Tony & Magda, who went above and beyond for me, I felt completely comfortable though the whole process and completely satisfied with the finished product. Highly recommended!!!

The owner of this place was awesomeI called him and he sent me a tow truck and everything... He did exaactly what I needed done to get my vehicle back out on the road.... The service was excellent and they did an easy job that I needed done as an emergency really fast.. They worked with me on my budget and I got a good deal. I see the quality of the work is excellent so I recommend anyone who needs body work check them out.

I ordered a Front Bumper for my Durango after my friend wrecked my truck. Took almost a month to get painted & shipped. When it arrived I had to pick it up from the truck line. Got it home & realized it was a completely different bumper than the one that fits my truck. I called Chicago Auto Body from the beginning they gave me the run around about sending the correct bumper. They never would admit they made a mistake by painting & shipping me the wrong bumper. They won't take it back nor fix the mistake. I'm out $252 dollars because they refuse to do the right thing & admit they made a mistake.

Went to go get some information about vehicle wraps but was told that they don t do wraps, just paint. Then they should paint over the vehicle wrap sign on the outside

Went with a front damaged bumper. It was fixed above and beyond my satisfaction. The work was done in a professional and timely manner. The repair was billed at a very reasonable cost. My 11 year old car now looks showroom new again!

Take your car here. Done the best job of all collision shops I have ever been to. Friendly with great service. Best part is they are honest and you can trust them. Very happy with the work.
