I recently had my car repaired at CARSTAR and I couldn't be happier with the service I received. From start to finish, Kelsey was there to answer my questions and provide updates on the progress of my vehicle. She was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and supportive throughout the entire process, which took about three months to complete.The quality of the work done on my car was top-notch and I was impressed with the attention to detail that went into every aspect of the repair. The team at CARSTAR clearly takes pride in their work and it shows.I even had my car deep cleaned from the interior to the exterior. No stress, and always were there to answer the phone call no matter how many times I called.Overall, I highly recommend CARSTAR to anyone in need of auto repair services. They were excellent until they weren t. Took my car for repairs and they handled 85%, told me they needed one part to finish the job, and that it would be done in a couple of weeks.That was over six months ago. The part has been back ordered since then, and the manager has avoided every call I ve made since to get the piece in stock or find alternate solutions, despite the front desk asking him to call me back. I recently learned that the manager is ghosting others, too.Such a shame because if they answer, the work is impeccable. But you can t get business if you don t call your customers back.

This place absolutely does 5 star service and goes above and beyond. Very kind staff and informative staff along with Ramon going above and beyond in customer service. I highly recommend their services.

The customer service was great. Ramon was very fourth coming and keep me posted on everything concerning my vehicle. They also offer a loaner vehicle for 4days, included with the service. My car looked amazing. I brought it in on Tuesday and it was ready Friday of the same week! I would highly recommend them.

Fixed the vehicle as expected. No damage afterwards. Looks like they even cleaned up the car a bit after the repair which is always appreciated and highly professional

Outstanding car repair place. These people are masters at repairs. customer service is way above five stars. they should hold lectures on how to do car repairs and how to treat their customers. I took my Tesla model 3 in for repairs and they did an extremely good job

Ramon and team were fantastic. I had a damaged bumper that was scraped and pushed in my fog light on my Tesla Model Y expecting to have to replace the whole bumper for $2K. Ramon was able to get me in next day, buff out the scuffs and remove the bumper, reattach the fog light (not an easy task) and out the door for less than $100! Everyone during the process checked in on me, updated with timing and delays and had me out the door in less than 2 hours. One of the best shops I ve been to in a long time. Great service, great communication, and over delivered on expectations.Service: Body & Trim

They recently repaired my vehicle that was rear ended. Had my car for nearly two months. Lot's reasons and missed dates on when it would be ready and then and they returned it with a tail light out and broken shock. Now just to look at the shock they need the car dropped off and then based on the findings insurance co will decide if they will cover it. If yes, I'll need to return again for actual shock replacement. Not professional. Never checked my suspension or lights. I've used three body shops in Chicago and this is the poorest performer by a wide margin.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Ramon and his team were wonderful - from setting up a time to get my car (they came and picked it up) to getting the work done (it took about a week) to the actual work, which is flawless. I was setup with CARSTAR from my insurance company from an accident. Amazing work and customer service that went beyond my expectations. Every lady that works on the phones for them is kind and receptive to concerns, Ramon was also great at getting back to me in a timely manner. They returned my car to me in a condition I couldn't imagine. On top of the repairs they did a deep clean and wax. I highly recommend this repair shop!! The team is fantastic and very professional. I was in an accident and had to have a lot of work done to my car, and they did an amazing job. There were a couple concerns I had after I received my car back and they picked up, dropped off my car, fixing all the concerns I had no problem. I was worried they'd brush me off or not take my concerns seriously, but they listened and were just fantastic. It's been hard for me to trust some repair shops after a bad experience I had at an unrelated shop, but I really trust this team. They really took good care of me and my car. I can't thank them enough.

They took my car for over a month, kept asking when would I get it back, kept being told different days. Then it turned into them giving me excuses of why my car had delays, the mechanics on the job had a personal day had a kid problem has family situation.. I was very understanding and patient, didn t care as along as my car got fixed. Finally picked up my car, car started having engine/electrical problems a week later. Called them, said they would send someone to pick up my car even though I told them I could drive it there myself. Never called to check in, called them and they said the mechanic had taken a personal day and would get back to me. Called again, more excuses. Took my car elsewhere, they said my electrical plugs were not plugged back in their appropriate ports causing electrical shut downs. I broken piece was not changed bottom line I don t trust the people working here nor would I recommend anyone to get their cars fixed here.

Ramon did an AMAZING job fixing my car. I was in a collision and needed my car fixed quickly so I am able to go home for the holidays 1000 miles away. Ramon did everything in his power to make that happen, was very accurate wit every time estimate, and had my car back to me earlier than I ever hoped possible. Excellent repairs and everyone at CARSTAR was extremely pleasant to work with. Would recommend to anyone!Services: Tires, Body & Trim

My car was vandalized and I had to get it fixed as soon as possible. I called on December 9th to get an estimate and was told to bring in my car to have it checked out. Ramon took my claim number over the phone and had all the paperwork ready for me when I got there. As soon as I got there, Ramon was already walking towards my car to see the damage. He gave me a realistic time frame on when my car would be ready and followed up with me. I had my car ready in a little over a week. Great customer service by all. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone that wants quality work.

Unfortunately with having kids that drive, over the years, I ve had to use various different repair shops. This was honestly the first time it was a pleasant experience. I was out of state when the accident occurred, but Ramon at CarStar International was amazing. They got the car towed to their shop with no problems. Something my insurance company was having trouble doing. And even got the repairs done sooner than I had been told by my adjuster. My beautiful little car is back and looking great! What I most liked was their attention to detail and follow up. I HIGHLY recommend them to everyone.

Carstar has been my body shop for years. Ramon and his colleagues are very professional. They were able to squeeze me in and assisted me in dealing with an insurance company after my vehicle was hit in a parking lot. Ramon was able to ensure I got the new parts and best parts to replace the damage. The vehicle looks brand new! They assisted my mother in law in a very similar situation. From the moment I walked in with questions about body work, insurance claims and how everything goes, the lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. We laughed and joked about our car experiences. Ramon was a gem. He was super busy but still walked outside to take a look at my suv and give me his input. This was a bad suv wreck. He assured me and guided me through all the steps. He even helped me with a rental. He under promised and over delivered! When I picked up my car Willy was another gem who Informed me about everything that was done. He also told me I could leave the rental there which was such a convenience. Overall, CarStar has a great team working there! I highly recommend them on a scale of 11/10!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I took my car for service after being rear ended and sideswiped. Upon picking up my car, it looked just as good as when I drove off the dealership s lot. Ramon took excellent care of my car and answered every single question I had (there were a lot lol). They even waxed and applied leather treatment to my interior. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks again Ramon, you re amazing. Also, Ramon s Sister at the reception desk has such a great spirit.

Before the work even started, the manager (Ramon) even worked through some unresponsiveness from the insurance company. The repairs were completed as promised and I was also kept apprised with text updates. The car was spotless inside & out when I arrived. The metallic paint color were perfect as was the clear coat. I would absolutely feel comfortable returning as a customer &/or recommending Carstar!

I have had work done on my car three different times and each was a great experience. The staff is very pleasant and the quality of work is awesome! I would definitely recommend to anyone; and they work with your insurance company to make it easier on you.

If you want TOP PROFESSIONAL car service, than this is the place. Upon entering you are happily met with a beautiful smile by Brenda(who answers the phone and receives your information). Ramon, is the owner and SUPERB in knowledge of cars and only has the Best knowledgeable mechanics. Your car is not accepted until Ramon is sure all parts are available , you will be called and given an estimate of when your vehicle will be ready. When you arrive your insurance should have made an appointment for your rental car, give the rental number to Brenda and she will call the rental company and Hertz/,Enterprise will send someone to Carstar and take you to them for paperwork and have your car ready. When your car is ready at CarStar, you bring the rental back to them, leave the rental/keys and get your car and leave. HOW AWESOME IS THIS!!! Your car will look better than it did when bought..clean inside and out. CARSTAR INTERNATIONAL , owned and operated under Ramon Caraballo(licensed/authorized by top car companies) you will NEVER take your car anyplace else...also NOT a rip off company!!! Quite pleased overall with the quality of work! Friendly service, easy to get a quote, pickup, and drop off. My car was broken into and Carstar was able to take my car in after calling over 10 other repair shops that were full. What a great body shop!!! I came here on a recommendation from a friend and it was a very positive experience. They replaced my rear bumper and the paint matches perfectly. Definitely worth the drive for me to utilize their services when needed in the future. You can tell these guys care about the quality work they do!!!!!

Did a claim through my insurance because it was a hit and run. They suggested this body shop on grand and kedzie, the front desk lady is nice but the issue I had was they have very very poor communication. They do not call you to let you know when to bring it in, they don t keep you updated on what they are doing to your car. They didn t even explain to me how long it was going to take for them to fix it. Their work is really good but if only that reflected on their customer service.Services: Painting, Body & Trim
