I recently had the pleasure of bringing my car into Car-X Tire & Auto for some much-needed repairs. I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service and expertise I received.First off, Rick and his staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked through the door. They took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly inspect my vehicle, providing me with a detailed explanation of the repairs that needed to be done.Throughout the entire process, the mechanics were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They worked quickly to get my car back up and running, all while ensuring that everything was done to the highest standard of quality.But what really stood out to me was their commitment to customer satisfaction. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the repairs and that my car was in the best possible condition before I left.Overall, I cannot recommend Car-X Tire & Auto enough. I would like to thank Ivan and Rick for assisting me on fixing my vehicle. I just recently purchased my car and the motor to the windshield wipers went out. My warranty company provided me a few options. I initially went to pep boys and was advised that they could not make an appointment for a week and they would keep my car for 1-2 days. I then went to Car X and the manager was amazing he had his mechanic go out to the car to take a look at it and gave me an appointment for the next morning to repair it. I did not have to wait a week to get my vehicle repaired. They understood the importance of me getting my vehicle back asap. I got my car back within 24 hours. The service was amazing and the mechanic was amazing. I will continue to do business with them for all my vehicles needs as well as my daughter vehicle. Both the manager and assistant managers are Rickys - both are excellent at their job and go above and beyond.Assistant manager Ricky has gone out of his way to be helpful/accommodating. He s knowledgeable, calm, and very personable towards myself and all the other customers there at the same time I was. Big thanks to him for taking care of my Civic and for being honest and upfront.It can be a shot in the dark going to chain businesses because of varying management, but I would highly suggest this location on Central & Diversey. Having a trustworthy mechanic is always a high priority for people who care about their cars - and this is it. The management, regular employees, and the end results are outstanding.

Carx is a part of the neighborhood so they should keep the area clean but they never do. The 2 cars have been sitting there for 3+ years. The dumpster that is located at the back of the carx in 2nd photo by the bushes has been sitting there for about 3+ years as well never dumped out has the same garbage in it. They have garbage near the fence and have rats holes all over the place. Weeds and grass are always an issue. The manager Joel has not done anything about these issues. We've tried being cordial with the managers old ones and new ones but they dont care about the neighborhood. Our next step after this post is calling the city!

The people here are great, friendly, and hardworking! It was my second time coming in, and they didn't disappoint. They are quick and efficient on what they do. I came in and told them what my car had, and they were quick to patch it up. I can definitely count on them to fix any of my car problems moving forward!

Rick and his team are professional, courteous and efficient! I brought my truck in for rear brake/tail light bulb replacement and the work was done while I waited. Pricing was reasonable. I will definitely return for other auto services. I highly recommend this location!

The guys here are amazing!! Coming from a young woman, I can definitely count on them when it comes to any car difficulties that I am having. The guys who work here are definitely trust worthy men. The customer service here is amazing & everyone is so welcoming. They definitely look out for all of their customers and help to their best advantage. I highly recommend coming here!

I punctured my tire and they were able to fix it quickly and efficiently. I was late to an appointment and they got me on my way in a pinch. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Over charged me for breaks replacement $685. Scheduled an appointment with Rick, he forgot the next day & didn t remember what the appointment was about. Waited 10 min for him when he told me to get there early. Too Expensive & unprofessional.

My go to spot for all my car needs, Ricky (manager) goes above and beyond. Very knowledgeable, great customer service. Deserves a RAISE!!!! I've sent family and friends here because of the manager. Soon I'll be sending over my job's company vehicles.

Went in for ONE job, they try to rip me off by saying my car needed additional work. I declined. I got a second opinion elsewhere, of course, that was not the case, my car was fine! Never again...if you do not know much about vehicles, do not go there to get ripped off. Or just make sure you know what you're going in for.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

I had the pleasure of dealing with the manager Ricardo and one of the mechanics Juan. Ricardo was very hospitable and, even though it was my first time there, made me feel very welcome. He walked me through the process to ensure that I knew I had options and completely understood what was wrong with my vehicle. Juan was able to get work done very speedy. He was very informative and helpful as well. I was able to get a good deal on all new tires, an alignment, rear rotors and pads. These guys went the extra mile and deserve praise. I will definitely be going back. One tip for anyone considering going is to bring coupons you find online. They help out a lot and Ricardo was actively trying to get me the best deal. Rick and the guys over here are always a great experience. Warm, friendly, informative, and very thorough. My husband and I exclusively come here for our general maintenance due to their solid work and especially their great customer service. I recommend without a doubt.

Called in an hour before they d close with a tire problem. I was afraid I was too late but they took our car in and got our issue resolved immediately. Extremely friendly and helpful.
