Incredibly honest and exceptional quality!The catalytic converter was stolen off my Prius while I visited Bridgeport this weekend. I called Car One due to the great ratings and central location. And I was blown away! Cesar, the owner, and his son, Bruno, treated me like family.Excellent, speedy communication by phone and they offered me a beyond-generous price. My vehicle was fixed within hours and continued to run perfectly during my 7hour drive back home.Very inviting and friendly ownership. I m so glad I found them for my unexpected repair!

My experience with Car One Auto, is always a Breath of Fresh Air. The atmosphere is always pleasant, very Family orientated, great customer service and very professional. Mr. Cesar is a very Honest, Caring and Wonderful person. I've been knowing him and having my vehicles service there for over 10 years. He always puts PRIDE in his work and goes that EXTRA Mile to make sure your vehicle is Safe to drive. I Highly recommend Car One Auto. I will always continue having my vehicles service at this establishment.

I have utilized this company for over ten years now and have never been disappointed with the service. I trust them to be more than fair as I have experienced other mechanics who were not. Super reliable and great customer service! My mom was taking her used car there and now so do I. Trustworthy and honest. I never feel like I am being charged too much for repairs and since I know nothing about cars, they also explain to me why the part needed to be replaced. They never make me feel like I need to panic about getting something replaced quickly or trying to find the money to get it repaired. Average mechanics don t really care about your vehicle.. want to get in and out just to make a quick buck. What s even more odd is the father and son always have two different prices The father could give you a price one day when you come back the next the son gives you a totally different price.. they advertise that they take care of emission problems but no longer handle those jobs they also claim that they do several things but when I asked on these matters was always an excuse such as some of my guys didn t come in today or we can only do that job on certain days. Clear indication of them only picking and choosing the jobs that they actually want to take !! The only plus side is that they are cheaper than the average mechanics in the area.

I was driving along Lake Shore (DuSable Lake Shore) and my car was acting up. Dashboard lights all on and my battery was draining. Managed to drive my way to a side street by Comiskey (Great Rates Field) where my car died. I walked several blocks to work and called up Car One and they were able to get me a tow to there shop. They were able tell me what's up and get me going within a day. Friendly service and quick. I recommend them.

My whole family has been going here forever. They remember your name and ask you "How's mom doing? ". They take care of you quickly, explain your options and what to expect. Have reasonable prices. I couldn't recommend them more.

My experience here not so good. I had to bring my car back 3 different times less than a month because each time SOMETHING ELSE was wrong. My car does not run as smooth as before and I was charged those 3 different times (wasn't cheap either) and I honestly think my car was not properly fixed. Unfortunately I will not come back here.

This location was the only place that fixed my SUV truck and didn't overcharge me. At the beginning I went to another car repair shop on 100 and western for a car brake job. I drove it in there and they didn't know how to replace the wires and brake parts. The Meineke on Western messed up my car. In other words, they could not fix the damage that they caused. I had to have it towed to another repair shop. The ower changed me $300 to get possession of the vehicle. He explained, It is valued time he spent on the vehicle eventho he could not fit it.

After I realized that the company that work for takes their vehicles here, I started doing so also with my own vehicle seeing that they had done such a decent job on the company cars.I can't speak to some of the reviews that are more negative but I've had nothing but excellent experiences so far.

Allen is someone who went out of his way to help us! This guy is is beyond unbelievable along w his partner and workers!!Not only he helped the best way he could but had the time to sit there talk and understand our situation. My words can NOT describe how grateful we were and r to had a chance to meet Allen! U don't meet a lot of ppl like him these days...I would strongly recommend his shop to everyone !!

These guys are thieves. Had my car towed here and left overnight after a car accident. Insurance agent grabbed it a couple days after and he noted that everything was taken and car was empty. This company (towing and repair) company stole all my stuff! Tried calling them and when I say something regarding it, no response and they don't know what I'm talking about. They stole my cigars, air compressor, sunglasses, nightstick, among other things.
