So glad State Farm recommended this place, exceeded my expectations. Customer Service was extremely good with super friendly people. The car was promised by the next weekend but was ready either Monday or Tuesday, very early. They not only cleaned the broken glass from the vandalism but that car, inside and out, has not been so clean since the day I bought it 10 years ago.I asked if they might check on something unrelated, a previous very slight dent, and I think they actually fixed it without charging. Not 100% sure but the mechanic and I were trying to find the dent when I picked it up and it didn't seem to be there anymore. (The other mechanic who worked on it was not there at the time.)The place is big and spacious, centrally located, and I would definitely recommend and would go back there for other work. Seemed to be family run and operated.

Very dissatisfied with my experience at C & W for a basic side mirror replacement on a 2012 Nissan Altima. A down payment of $200 was taken to begin acquiring parts and I was informed I would be called the next day with an update. This never happened, and when I called a week later I was informed the parts had arrived and the mirror cover was painted and ready for me to schedule an install. When I arrived for the install, I was under the impression that the mirror cover had been painted already and was ready to go. But, when I picked up my vehicle and left the shop I noticed that the old scratched cover with broken tabs (sitting in the back of my car) was installed instead of a new one with no mention of this to me. I called and talked to the owner the next day and he seemed surprised to hear this an assured me the issue would be resolved and I would be given an update the next day. Two days later without a call I contacted the company again to be told no progress on acquiring the mirror. I called the following day and was told the wrong mirror cover was ordered and a new one was on its way and would be painted over the weekend. I returned the following Monday and the new painted mirror cover was installed. When I asked what the cause of this issue was I was told that the wrong part was ordered/painted from the beginning and the mechanic took the liberty to install the broken part in my car and didn't bother to inform anybody, but I don't consider this to be a valid excuse. The new mirror cover was installed, but it is not nearly as tight a fit as the factory mirror cover on the opposite side despite being told the part was coming from a Nissan dealer - it whistles at high speeds and is has some play to it when it should be firmly affixed with no wiggle. Overall, I was not pleased with the delay in communication and dishonest business practices I experienced at C & W.

The parts that C&W got to fix my Mercedes were defective after fixing the damage from a rear end accident. It was clear to them that this was unacceptable, and they came through to fix everything right, with no additional cost to me. I was afraid this was going to be a disappointing experience, but C&W stood by their work and gained a happy customer who'd easily recommend them.

I can't saw enough good about CW Auto. Brought in a car in for a body repair. Their initial quote was well below others I received. The end result was great work at a great price with great communication along the way.

I had body work done to my Audi twice at C&W. Robert Carrasquillo was a pleasure to work with - seamless experience from scheduling to inspection to estimate to repair completion. Can t express enough how comforting it is to have a local shop who not only does top notch work but is also completely trustworthy. If you need body work go to C&W and ask for Robert!

I can't say enough good things about C &W. They were honest, transparent, and kept me updated throughout the process. Other body shops estimated several weeks for the repair, C&W got everything done in only a few days. The work is perfect, like nothing ever happened!I've been to several body shops and mechanics around the area...I'll be taking my vehicles to C&W from now on. I highly recommend!

I was in a car accident and my passenger side took quite a bit of damage! C&W took only 1 WEEK to fix this and have me on the road again! Their work is phenomenal! They use some program which sends texts and updates you about your car so you never feel out of the loop! I definitely recommend this place.

Do not drop your vehicle off here expecting good communication or met deadlines.I was in a car accident and had about $8,500 in repair work that needed to be done to my car. Unfortunately, Geico referred me to C & W Body shop. Initially it was amazing, I was given a timeline of about 2 weeks and was sent text updates along the way. Then, 2 weeks after dropping the car off I got a text notification that my car was nearing completion and if they encountered any delays, they would call me so I called just to check in on when I should expect my car. This is where my nightmare with C & W began. Much to my amazement a part was delayed but I had received no notification of this.I decided to be patient and waited about two more weeks before calling again as my rental car from the insurance agency was about to lose coverage. I was informed at this time that my car would be ready within the week and decided to return my rental car. Huge mistake, C & W did not follow through on this promise and I spent the next couple of weeks paying for Uber and Lyft services to and from work. I continued to call and check in, was given guarantees and promised my car multiple times only to be told it was not ready.This went on for about 10 weeks, I would call C & W speak to different representatives be guaranteed different timelines or stories and not once did they ever follow through on those promises or call me to update me.In the end after about $1,000 in extra expenses due to extending my rental car and having to take Uber and Lyft once it was returned, I had lost confidence in their ability to ever bring this job to completion. After a short call with Kia, I located the part C & W had been unable to source for ten weeks, purchased it myself and organized the logistics to get it from the parts warehouse to C & W.Upon completion of my car, while minor, there were marks on my upholstery. I am attaching photos to this review for reference but I just feel that this final missed detail was indicative of the negligence C & W puts into their work from start to finish.After my experience using C & W I can confidently say I will never use them again nor would I recommend anyone trust them for even the most minor service.Service: Body & Trim

Dropped my car off for body work on a Wednesday morning and my vehicle was ready in less than a week. Robert C was the advisor on my repair and kept me on the loop through the whole process. Robert and every person I spoke to was so kind. I truly can't recommend them enough!

I checked two other smaller auto shops before coming to C&W, thinking maybe smaller auto shops might be faster. No, the other two places don't have openings until a month later whereas C&W took my car in on the same day of the estimation! Martha and Robert were very patient in answering my questions and explaining the process. My car is in good hands!!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Air conditioning

Just had bumper replaced from an accident. Had a great experience. C&W did a great job. Robert went above and beyond. He was great with the communications and made sure my car was in and out quickly because of the limited time my car was available for the repair. I was also in a year ago with my aluminum body F-150 pickup with a considerable amount of damage after it was hit by another driver. C&W did a great job on the truck as well. So excellent! I needed a new windshield that day and just dropped in at 8:00 am. Everything was easy, professional, and the price was fair. The best part was that they washed my care and CLEANED THE INSIDE including hosing down my floor mats and vacuuming! Also, everyone was very friendly and kind. Go there. You won't regret it.

I called C & W Auto Body and Glass for a quote to remove some scratches from the side panel of my vehicle. I promptly received a call back with the recommendation to stop by the shop. Upon visiting the shop I was helped immediately, provided with a selection of options, and was able to quickly resolve the issue. Robert was the advisor who helped me and he was genuinely looking out for me in the process. Robert provided me recommendations of the work I should have them perform, which ultimately saved me money. I would highly recommend this company for the quality of customer service, work, and efficiency.

I had a snow accident that jammed up my front bumper and rammed my car against another behind me. My insurance company suggested this location. Honestly, I was really hesitant because I was so used to going to Toyota for all my fixes but their service fees are crazy due to the overhead and to be honest, also unintentionally impersonal. At C & W, my boyfriend and I were greeted with such a pleasant and professional welcome from Robert. He laid out how they were going to work with my insurance and going to give me text updates every day. Robert was impressively keen to notice the little bumps on my car that weren t from the accident that I came in for (I don t know when he did it as I was talking to him non-stop the entirety of this first interaction, but he was really accurate). Nothing was left to assumptions, and I had a quick initial drop off. Got updates via text from C &W , and a call from my insurance adjuster. All was good and expected my car to be in the same condition as before the accident. I was wrong to expect so little. We pulled into the back of the building and I saw this shining beauty no snow residue AT ALL from the crazy snow storms, tires were crisp looking, and I don t know if I had rose tinted glasses or the inside of my car looked much cleaner than I had left it too (like I said...there was a snow storm so you can imagine). Car looked new and you couldn t even tell there was an issue with it. They even seemed to fix up an issue I had with screwing in my license plate. I m very happy with my service and although I hope I won t need to go back, this will be my spot and recommendation for my friends.

Brought the car in for some extensive hail damage and they were extremely accommodating. The work was done while we were on vacation and available for pickup upon our return. They worked with our insurance and even did a little extra work buffing out some scratches for a reasonable price. The repairs looked great and they were friendly and provided excellent customer service. I will bring my car back for any future body work.

I was sent to C & W by Geico and took my car here for the first time to be repaired after the body was hit and damaged in a parking lot. Easy process and the staff was friendly. They did an amazing, above and beyond job! I had the ugliest scrapes down my car and you can't even tell it was ever there. I even had a damaged mirror from being hit another time and scrapes all over my bumper from city wear and tear and they fixed it all without me even asking. Another additional bonus touch was that they cleaned, waxed and detailed my car when it was finished. I was actually proud to drive my car again.I can't recommend enough. Repaired my car through Geico. Had to return twice. Jumper cables missing from the car.First time my drivers mirror which was only scuffed, was entirely replaced with a lower quality component so that the mirror itself would vibrate over small bumps and be seizure inducing on the highway. Parts were unavailable, took 4 weeks or so to get a replacement for the replacement.Second time, I noticed when they removed my fender to replace/repaint it they damaged the corner light. But instead of replacing it, they glued it back to where it no longer sat flush with the fender. Good thing I noticed it because it fell off on the highway a couple of days before they replaced it. It was a cheap part, but I m guessing they just pushed it out to meet deadlines knowing that replacing it could cost them time.Another issue is that they removed my wheel to recondition it from the damage it received. In order to do that you need my wheel lock which is located near the spare which I assume they also used. I had my jumper cables wrapped around the spare. A month after I picked up my car, I had my battery die. Couldn t find my cables, I notified Robert who said he d look into it. My cables were never located nor did they ever offer to replace them. I ve never had my car keys in anyone else s hand so it s not like they went missing anywhere else.There s a lot of body shops out there. My Trusty Steed is" NEW AGAIN"!!!!The Customer care was phenomenal, from the day I received the estimate for repair to the completion of the repair. Customer Care , Consideration and Convenience were my experience when with the Staff at C&W Auto-body. The work was done in a timely basis taking in consideration of saving me time and inconvenience by allowing me to receive a car rental on site. The staff inspired confidence that my vehicle would be repaired using only authentic parts for my car, not cheap replacements manufactured by another company, The estimate was on target and competitive. My car was recently rear-ended, and one of the insurance company's recommendations was C&W Body Shop. I took the car to three shops for three estimates and ended up choosing C&W. It turned out to be a great choice. They repaired the car very well and off I went. After a couple of months, an unknown collision-related problem began to surface, so I took it back to C&W. They quickly and thoroughly fixed this problem, too. I highly recommend C&W, and Robert in particular was attentive, courteous, and professional. Thanks, C&W!

Highly highly recommend this shop! When I called about my side mirror that was repaired over a year ago needed replacing, they immediately ordered the parts and got the work done in less than 1 hour.....no charge. I used C&W to repair my car after a minor accident through Geico insurance. They were fast, efficient and communicated updates of my repair over text. The shop is clean and organized, the people are kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend C&W!

I could not have picked a better shop even if I have tried. C & W Auto shop provided excellent service & customer service. Robert the owner made sure I was informed the entire time, and i got daily updates. Considering the unfortunate circumstances that brought me to the shop...I can honestly say that the owner of the shop Robert went above and beyond to help me, and made my experience 1000 times better! I can honestly say, that C & W has earned our business as long as we live in Chicago, regardless if we go there because of our car insurance or not.
